A landmark collaboration and one of the most celebrated albums in country music history, Trio brings together three transcendent voices — Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt — in a recording that's as emotionally rich as it is impeccably produced.

Originally released in 1987, Trio was both a critical and commercial triumph, selling more than 4 million copies worldwide, topping the Billboard U.S. Country Albums chart for five consecutive weeks, and earning the Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. It was also nominated for Album of the Year. The album yielded four major country hits, highlighted by the haunting, harmony-driven remake of Phil Spector's classic "To Know Him Is to Love Him."

Produced by legendary engineer George Massenburg, Trio is a masterclass in clarity, balance, and vocal blend. Every track showcases the trio's distinct personalities while achieving a near-perfect harmonic unity-three iconic artists elevating one another through tasteful arrangements, pristine acoustics, and song-first performances.

Now, this classic shines brighter than ever. Mastered at 45 RPM and pressed on flat, ultra-quiet vinyl by Quality Record Pressings, this edition reveals rewarding insights for audiophiles, including greater nuance, texture and emotional depth with every listen.
