Mit ihrem selbstbetitelten dritten Album schreiben Fickle Friends ihre Geschichte neu. Die LP erscheint über das eigene Label Palmeira Music und ist eine strahlende Indie-Pop-Platte über Glück. In ihren 11 Tracks fängt die Band Euphorie und Chaos des Lebens im Hier und Jetzt ein und verbindet eine gemütliche Produktion und große Hooks mit Texten, die sowohl zutiefst persönlich als auch unglaublich nachvollziehbar sind. Fickle Friends are an English indie pop band from Brighton, East Sussex, England. The band recorded their debut album in Los Angeles with Mike Crossey and it was released on 16 March 2018 entering the UK Albums Chart at No. 9.

Mixed by Simon Lam (Kllo, Armlock) and mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Andrei Eremin, the album features collaborations with British talent including rising spoken-word artist Emmeline, Mancunian ambient producer Frameworks, and Nattica from Fickle Friends on the single 'Oh My'. Speaking on the album, Fractures says: "There's no overarching theme to this album, not lyrically anyway. It's cobbled together like short diary entries of someone journeying through a sort of middling stasis in their life, a time of nothing particularly noteworthy, and that in itself provokes deeper and maybe darker introspection.
