Kuzma Palkin for the 4th release of Gost's Instrument Series.
The fourth participant in the GOST INSTRUMENT series is Ivan Erofeev hailing from Siberia's Omsk. Ivan was producing and releasing music as Aleph for the last five years and this is the first ever record issued under his birth name. The author's distinctive, monotonus yet liquid sound emerges in these two tracks - deep "H Island" and polyrhythmic "Sahiba". Framed with field recordings made by the man himself, this two-tracker is a hypnotic and atmospheric journey into Ivan's very own creative universe.
Second GOST instrument is made by Karelia's finest Sergey Suokas. The 'A" side titled "Reka Vremeni' (the River of Time in Russian) represents one deep repetitive techno story, carefully crafted with high attention to details. "B" side comes with a dubbed experimental groove. Limited 180g. 10'' coloured vinyl, hand stamped.
Russian imprint GOST ZVUK announces a new 10'' sublabel INSTRUMENT with a release by Ukranian techno veteran Stanislav Tolkachev. A-side comes with an amazing ambient trip, while classic Tolkachev sound is represented on the B-side with a 9-minute techno banger. The aim of the label is to provide professionals with everlasting soundscapes thus transforming records into real instruments. This metaphor is further expressed through artwork with stamps of real working tools, chosen by the artists themselves. Limited coloured 10'', hand stamped.
