FCL presents Can We Try — A Deep House Anthem remixed and
remastered for 2025 including flips from Jimpster, Ben Hixon & Deetron

The ever-reliable FCL—aka Belgian house heroes San Soda and Red D—are back on the block with this remastered remix package of Can We Try, a soul-drenched dancefloor meditation that taps into the timeless tension of love and longing. With its raw vocal hooks (courtesy of Lady Linn), analog warmth, and stripped-down groove, the original cut is pure FCL: emotionally rich, effortlessly deep, and aimed straight at discerning dance floors.

Bringing fresh heat to the 2014 original, three heavyweights of house and techno step in for remix duties—each reworking the track in their own signature style:
Jimpster injects his trademark deep, jazzy finesse, flipping Can We Try into a swirling, soulful roller—lush pads, Moog flourishes, and enough swing to keep bodies moving and hearts locked in. Ben Hixon, the Dallas-based underground wizard, lays down a chunky, hardware- heavy rework full of crunchy drums and woozy funk. It's lo-fi soul with hi-fi intent. Deetron closes it out with a peak-time bomb—big room pressure, hypnotic bass, intense stabs and the kind of tension-release dynamics that only a true craftsman can deliver.
This limited-edition white label 12" vinyl is circulating in the wild—no frills, no hype, just a nod to those who know. Pressed loud and cut for the floor, it’s already making waves in the bags of tastemaker DJs from Berlin to Brooklyn. Can We Try is a reminder that dance music doesn’t need to shout to speak volumes. Four of the freshest Blaze remixes come together on wax for the first time on Slip ‘N’ Slide, ‘Blaze Remixed’. The West London label is home to some of the best house music that crossed the Atlantic from the 90s onwards, and today the imprint continues to refresh Blaze’s legendary catalogue with remixes from leading industry figures. Up first, British producer Atjazz takes the cool feel of ‘So In Love’ from the minds of Kevin Hedge & Josh Milan as Black Rascals, adding his signature genre-crossing style. Jimpster’s take on ‘Wonderland’, featuring Josh Milan on vocals as Alexander Hope, stabilises the track while allowing the free-flowing feel of the OG to shine through. Brooklyn native DJ Spinna’s remix of ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ capitalises on Hope’s powerful vocals, supported by impeccable synth-laden production, before vinyl aficiando Natasha Diggs closes out this Blaze collection with her remix of ‘Breathe’; Diggs stays faithful to the original’s iconic saxophone and trumpet-led sound, sprinkling in her tasteful flair for smooth grooves and delicious synthwork at every turn.

Foliage Records introduces Volume 2 of the new 12” Sampler Series.
Volume 2 offers four stunning cuts from the Foliage Records back catalogue for the first time on vinyl. The A side of the sampler features Jimpsters bumping Deep House rework of South African electronic producer, Thakzin and songstress Ray T’s ‘Don’t Let Me See’. Fresh from remixing Solomun, Kerri Chandler & Joey Negro, Jimpster picks up the pace, adds layers of Afro inspired percussion and creates an ethereal effect on the vocals, resulting in a club ready classic. Side A also features the stunning ‘Addicted’ by Richard Earnshaw & Kholi, a Deep House, bass heavy groover.


The B side of the sampler has the Afro anthem ‘Unification Vibration’, remixed by legendary producer Atjazz. A prolific remixer with a career spanning 20 years, Atjazz has worked with the likes of Bob Sinclar, Gilles Peterson & Jazzanova. The track is an ode to coming together in ‘our house, our only home’. The B side also contains the heavy talents of Turbojazz & Sean McCabe with their deep & dope remix of Diephuis feat. Ursula Rucker – Listen To This Drum. This remix takes things down a deeper path to the original, with a focus on the bassline and extra percussion.

A year after Floyd Lavine & David Mayer served up the afro house bomb ‘Sondela’ from the EP of the same name, it now gets remixed by a carefully selected list of names including Jimpster, Auntie Flo, Tunnelvisions and Kususa. First up is deep house master and Freerange label boss Jimpster, who serves up the sort of quality you would expect on his remix. His cool and immersive journey brings new soul and feeling to the original with timeless melodies that have a lasting effect. Dutch duo Tunnelvisions are an act on the rise and always bring plenty of Afro, Latin and Caribbean vibes to their sounds. Here they masterfully flip the track ‘Xi’ from the Sondela EP into a percussive groove with psychedelic warmth and melodic bass that goes deep. Kususa are also rising stars of the South African scene who have Black Coffee supporting their work and have mixed the upcoming Africa Gets Physical vol.2 album. Here they pump up the beats: their percussion, arps and big synths will get hands in the air and as the bassline envelops you in warmth you cannot help but feel it deep inside. Highlife artist and recent album man Auntie Flo brings his authentic understanding of worldly groove to a fantastic remix that oozes beauty and quality. It is understated and stripped back with delicate hand percussion and an otherworldly aura that brings real mystery to the EP. An acapella version is also included as an exclusive addition to the vinyl release.

Having been on something of a hiatus following the birth of his kids, Milton Jackson is back and in best form ever on Songs Without Words.
His most recent releases have been on UK label Tsuba and is responsible for remixes for Recloose on Planet E, Al Kent, and M A N I K.
Kito Jempere debuted on Freerange in 2013 but quickly got soon after got snapped up for EP's on Dirt Crew, Let's Play House and most recently Room With A View. He also owns and manegs the Fata Morgana label from his base in Saint Petersburg.
Pittsburgh Track Authority are the genre bending trio releasing some of the finest house and techno from the East Coast of the US on their own label In The Machine Age as well as esteemed imprints such as Azuri, Argot and Finale Sessions.
Kuniyuki is something of a Japanese enigma, staying resolutely below the radar despite being heralded by many (including Derrick May) as a major inspiration.
The multi-instrumentalist has collaborated with Henrik Schwarz, Vakula, DJ Nature and Jimpster and has released on Mule and Sound Of Speed and remixed DJ Sprinkles, Joe Clausell and Ananda Project.
