En un mundo tan saturado de propuestas genéricas, copias y grandes corporaciones, tanto privadas como gubernamentales, llenando el cyber-espacio y lo tangible con propaganda y silenciando ciertos temas actuales y queriendo controlar nuestra información, nos refugiamos en la música para intentar movernos sigilosos pero efectivos.

Todos sabemos el reto de seguir lanzando música en formatos físicos, tanto de producción como
económicos, pero esperamos que los sellos y artistas independientes no se den por vencidos y
sepan que no están solos, muchos seguimos intentando conservar esta cultura tan pura del disco,
desde las fábricas, las tiendas, distribuidores, los ingenieros de audio, los artistas e incluso
nuestras familias y amigos que nos apoyan.

A1 | Carlos Native – Be Yourself
Andalusian producer Carlos Native unfolds an almost cinematic sensibility: a slow, introspective piece where a hypnotic bassline and wide, horizontal backgrounds build an inner journey rather than a track aimed at immediate impact.

A2 | Slit Observers – Synthmek
The Galician duo present a hard, high-energy work. Industrial-driven drums demand movement, while an aggressive, sharp arpeggiated bass defines a sonic identity with no concessions.

A3 | Negocius Man – 8N8
The Madrid-based veteran constructs 8N8 with modular precision: each sound falls into place with an almost architectural logic. The result is a synthetic, measured and structured piece shaped by years of experience.

B1 | Allumynd – Chestcollider
Making their debut on the electro scene, Allumynd delivers an original and daring track. An otherworldly snare and a woven vocal structure turn this piece into a clear example of new-generation electro: atmospheric and bold.

B2 | Komatssu – Non Servian
The Asturian producer, under his Komatssu alias, opts for continuous evolution without a kick drum as support. The track works like an organism that grows and transforms as it progresses, generating a hypnotic and mature effect.

B3 | Irrational Language feat. Lucky – We Are Comming Back
Irrational Language dives into braindance with meticulous technical production: drums filled with micro-artifacts, luminous synthesizers, and Lucky’s vocals processed and spatialized to reinforce a narrative of rebirth and emerging from darkness.

Tracks by Max Durante, Teslasonic, Kerg, Kitbuilders, Bolz Bolz and Negocius Man. The Time Capsule project, also known as 808 Box, is a project created by Fundamental Records. The six boxes released in recent years include 56 records with over 300 tracks from artists from every corner of the world. Some warehouse copies have surfaced of the 5th 808 Box, and these will be available individually. These are new copies in perfect condition, with the original sleeves printed with the classic Roland TR-808.

The global lockdown has seen a number of new hobbies and skills adopted. Yoga mats now decorate homes. Bread makers jockey for space in kitchens. Soiled paint brushes caked in acrylics lie abandoned. At Frigio Records HQ, confinement might have changed the rhythm but it hasn’t changed the aim; to find new and exciting music for 2020. The result? Frigio Allstars 3.



Daniel Holt returns for this new instalment in the Allstars series. Diving deep into the darkness, Holt resurfaces with the nine minute industrial throb of “Vaccuous Transient.” A stomping beat pierces sci-fi score synthlines in a track brimming with menace. Staying in the US, Grey people debuts on Frigio with the grime smeared jack of “Bruxism.” The flip is all first timers to the Madrid label with Scannoir offering “De Panaesher.” Sitting somewhere between synth lament and uplifting wave, this track is a true modern classic from a member of the GOTT camp. Madrid’s very own Negocius man follows with “101 Wars” a winding worming work of glazed electronics to kill any dance floor and the amazing finale, “The Smile Of The Body” coming care of Bari’s talent based in Berlin under the moniker of Sons Of Traders.



Frigio Allstars 3 comes from the murky underbelly of electronics, where the nights are long and the days are short. Ashen tones pricked with lighter shades, all smeared with attitude in this collection of underground tracks made for the underground.
