Emerging from Stockholm, Obergman has carved out a respected space within the world of electronic music over the past two decades. He has become synonymous with a signature blend of electro, acid, and proto-techno, which he has meticulously crafted through releases on some of the most respected labels in the genre. Starting his journey in the late 90s, the debut came in 2001 with a release on the iconic Skam Records, home of pioneering acts like Gescom.

His early work laid the foundation for what would become a string of impactful releases on labels such as Stilleben Records, Abstract Forms, Brokntoys, Börft Records, and Furthur Electronix. The evolution of his music reflects a clear shift toward a more refined approach, underscored by a preference for fine-tuned melodics, intricate drum programming and a distinctive use of iconic synthesizers.

Throughout the years, Obergman has continued to release standout EPs that showcase his versatility. On his releases for Furthur Electronix, he delves deep into acid territory, crafting tracks that range from melodic rollers to high-energy peak-time cuts, all infused with his trademark blend of TB-303 squiggles and eerie atmospheres. His cherished collaborations with the Stilleben, Brokntoys, Craigie Knowes and Pariter labels, see him further refining his electro-techno fusion, delivering tracks that are as muscular and propulsive as they are deeply atmospheric.

Ninechecker fell in love with Electro as a teenager in Liverpool watching Dave Clarke smash it up at Voodoo (and their I-Robot Electro nights) and at Bugged Out! Having settled in Toronto, Canada after living in Berlin he reassembled his studio and started producing his own interpretation of Electro, taking inspiration from late 90’s jungle, UK Techno, 808 Miami bass and Trap, dark doomy electronics and field recordings to create his own Gutter Electro. with releases on Varial Records, Zodiac Wax and Supercomputer AV he now make his debut on Orson.

DJ and producer Annie Hall has been steadily carving a name for herself as an artist who enjoys diversity. Born and bred in Spain, Annie started her life as a DJ very young in 2003, having had her first encounter with vinyl when she was a kid because her brother is a reggae, dubs and roots DJ in Spain. With a long time passion for music and a love of experimenting with new sounds Annie isn’t constrained by the same boundaries as others. Producing since 2005, she has released on labels such as Tresor (with ´Daughter Produkt´ proyect along Gerald Donald), 2020 Vision, Detroit Underground, CPU records, Delsin Records and now she continues the journey with Orson and we are over the moon.

Point B Biog 2018
Starting out on legendary Electro label SCSI AV and Orson Records in the mid noughties, Point B began to earn himself a reputation through his intense dance floor-focussed EPs and pensive, experimental long players. By sewing together influences ranging from 70s sci-fi films to traditional middle eastern music, he wove a unique sonic fabric. Later that decade and after absorbing the waves of dubstep and post-garage that washed up on the shores of South London, his sound matured into something that can deliver club euphoria and introspective melancholy.

With his last commercial release back in 2014, a four year hiatus passed whilst he worked on other music projects. During that time he built up a collection of handcrafted synth patches, some of them employing modular synthesis techniques. The ensuing sketches formed the basis of his latest work: Smash Hits. This is arguably Point B's most direct and focussed record to date. Opting for a techno template, he consciously kept the sound palette narrow, concentrating his efforts on the groove, energy and production fidelity. This is a statement record that demonstrates his creative control and programming playfulness.
