Rory Green is a Manchester-based composer, guitarist and bandleader whose debut album blends contemporary ambient, jazz and folk into warm, cinematic and deeply emotive music. Drawing on memories of Ghana and Northern England, Green creates richly layered ensemble pieces influenced by artists such as Nils Frahm, Fabiano do Nascimento, Portico Quartet and Jasmine Myra. Guests & collaborators: produced with Matthew Halsall (flute) and performed by a close-knit ensemble featuring saxophones, double bass and drums, alongside collaborations with Marysia Osu, Laura Misch and Bryony Jarman-Pinto.
