Releasing the original over 20 years ago, the incomparable track has only received one previous official remix with Dutch producer and DJ, Franky Rizardo now injecting new life into an already seminal track also

he voice of the 1983 soul smash “Love Town” features on these two songs recorded in 1995 but only released now for the first time. Booker Newberry III was an original member of 70s soul group Sweet Thunder (“Everybody’s Singin’ Love Songs”). Mike Stevens is the UK sax player who in the early 90s collaborated and played on productions for Wag ‘Ya’ Tail (a version of “Expansions” released as ‘Xpand Ya Mind’) and Dreaming A Dream (a version of “Mister Magic” with Solar DJ Louie Martin) before joining Take That as a regular musician and Music Director.
In 1995 Booker was visiting the UK and worked on sessions which remained unreleased until now. A cassette of the songs was given to soul DJ Richard Searling in the early 2000s, and his plays over the years has lead to an insatiable appetite for them to come up. “Just Can’t Give You Up” was originally by Mystic Merlin, “I Can’t Forget About You” a soul gem Ronn Matlock first released in 1979, now both given the powerful Booker Newberry III vocal treatment only he could give.

Border One pushes his sound to new extremities with this latest EP on Token 'Spectral Tension'. Known for his driving, melodically abstract productions under eye twitching pressure, the Belgian artist takes his celestial signature and puts it to the test. These four tracks embody his sound: dancefloor experiments from a modular laboratory.



Exceptional in his sound, Border One adds 'Spectral Tension' as his seventh release to the Token catalog.

London based imprint SHIBUI follows up with a second 12" on the label, with a four track EP from Brennan.

Unitology is here fresh off the stove. The story has been told by Bogota based artist Felipe Buraye who has been releasing steadily on the best international labels for you to check out, while also co-curating his own label called “From the Void Above”. Releasing under Buraye as well as his alter egos “The Voltaic Continuum” and “Dream Architect” allows you to see that there has been an immersive amount of work put in from this artist, therefore there is tons of music available whenever it’s on digital or vinyl format. It can safely be said that Buraye has got your audio needs covered. From A1-B2 the essence of the artist can be felt within his personal style that brings the Unitology to life. The artist has been a close friend of the label for a while so it is an utmost honour to finally have him on board with his signature flavour of music flawlessly executed.

Buttechno digs into Berlin's club psyche once more on the second chapter of X-Berg Dubs, which twists his sound into something murkier and more inward. Squashed breaks and flighty dub techno blur with jungle-adjacent sidewinds, all wrapped in rough, lo-fi textures. These tracks don't rush the 'floor, they slowly subvert and seep into it. Overdriven delays, ghosted guitars, and smudged rhythms unfold on 'Dark Loop' with 'L Dub' setting a glitchy, Burial-esque vibe, while '2080 Dub' drifts deeper into echo and decay, but with retro garage chords and 'Stone Dub' is a pure stoner dub.

Moods & Grooves Records proudly announces Turn-A-Round, the long-awaited return of D. Wynn & The R-Tyme Production. Marking his first release since 2002 on KMS Records, D. Wynn reconnects with the deeply soulful Detroit sound that defined his earlier work—timeless, emotive, and built for the dancefloor.

At the center of the release is “Love Ain’t Easy”, a heartfelt, soul-driven track featuring vocals from Record Time favorite Lavell Williams. The song carries special significance as Williams’ final known musical recording prior to his passing in 2018, giving the record both emotional weight and historical importance. The EP also includes “Use Me (U Turn Remix)”, a fresh take on R-Tyme’s most recognized work—previously reimagined by Carl Craig—alongside “Funk N The Drums,” a raw, percussion-heavy cut driven by deep funk and rhythmic intensity.

A foundational figure in Detroit’s electronic music movement, D. Wynn was instrumental in shaping the culture as part of the legendary Music Institute era, alongside pioneers such as Derrick May, Alton Miller, and Chez Damier. As one half of R-Tyme with Derrick May, he helped deliver seminal recordings including “Use Me” and “Illusion/R-Theme” on Transmat, leaving a lasting imprint on the global electronic music landscape.

Italian producer Deyayu delivers a powerful new EP on Party Tricks, channeling emotion and subtle melancholy into four striking cuts. Blending elements of progressive, deep, and tech house, the release is designed for late-night energy and golden hour moods, capturing the feeling of first light, where rhythm meets reflection.

Berlin-based duo Disguised land on Mutual Rytm with a splash of signature driving techno on ‘Nightrun’. German-born, Berlin-based pairing Alvaro and Domenik are Disguised, a duo that feels closely connected to their favourite club RSO and its Robus Floor, where most of their musical inspirations happen. They head up their own label, Inherit Records, and also host parties at Berlin's new C115 venue on the Berlin highway. Already this year, they have dropped an impressive collaborative EP with their studio partner and close friend Fabio, aka FANK, who features on this EP with his own vocals. Their sound is always defined by driving drums and hypnotic melodies that build up to intense dancefloor peaks, and here they showcase this to its fullest on their Mutual Rytm label debut via five vinyl-only cuts and three digital bonuses built and crafted to make a lasting impact. The powerful 'Where Thoughts End (ft. FANK)' rises up through the ground like an oncoming train, as drums rumble, synths peel off the groove, and moody voices have you looking over your shoulder. 'Nightrun' is glitchier and more textured, with a fractured energy that keeps you on your toes. 'Crusher Wheels' is a deep, back-lit, and trance-inducing sound made for 4am, while 'Ashes and Algorithms' layers up eerie melodic details with bulky drums for a spare but atmospheric trip. A1 “Rip Meine Maschine” is Labelheads Tom Peters’ absolute favorite from the EP. A twisted roller driven by a distinctive male vocal, hypnotic groove and restless energy. The track became a closing moment during Tom’s latest US tour, where he played BASEMENT’s Studio in NYC, Vice Underground’s warehouse party in Los Angeles and Midnight Service in Miami.

A2 “System Effect” moves into a more dreamy and emotional direction. Floating vocals repeating “this is the sound” drift through housy pads and spacious textures, creating a track that feels both euphoric and trippy at the same time.
B1 “GA_Entry after 7AM” rounds off the record beautifully with spacey atmospheres, analog synth work, echoes and reverbs. It feels like the afterglow of a long night, designed for the early morning hours on the dancefloor or the journey home afterwards.

BERLINCIAGAY is a statement. A different perspective on Berlin club culture. Less aggressive, less functional, more emotional, dreamy and intimate.

Gems return with another superb signing from the 90’s the mighty Eagles Prey. The release reworks a 1992 underground classic, originally produced by John Kennedy (Apple Records) alongside Lee Grainge (Fat Cat Records) and Paul Coleman (Rocket Science , Rehab/Offshoot , Zoom Records) — a lineage deeply rooted in UK electronic history.

On remix duties, the Circulation Mix delves deep and hypnotic already receiving heavyweight support from Laurent Garnier and John Digweed, underlining its club and tastemaker appeal.

Jim Rivers, a proven serial producer and DJ, adds his signature depth and precision, balancing modern floor functionality with timeless underground sensibility.

Rounding out the package Ranj Kaler continues his standout run, currently omnipresent across production, remixes, and DJ sets, delivering contemporary drive while respecting the original’s DNA.

A release that bridges heritage and forward momentum, built for discerning DJs, specialist radio, and late-night systems.

Can you believe it Fall of 2014 marks the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of YOSHITOSHI, the seminal record label founded by Deep Dish in 1994.

To celebrate, we are bringing the classics back, remastered and with new remixes from an amazing group of heavy hitters from all corners of the dance world.

Given that Yoshitoshi's roots are ingrained in house music, it's only fitting to start the re-release campaign with Eddie Amador's classic House Music.

Released in 1997 it went on to become a global phenomena with its hypnotic hook and infectious Not Everyone Understands House Music that has become the preach anthem for generation of house music lovers.
