STEPS EP is set for release 14th November 2023 via Slow Dance. It is introduced today with the EP’s title track produced alongside Louis O’Breyen, guitarist in the London band Sorry, with this his debut production role.

STEPS is the Londoner’s third EP and features six new tracks that recollect her personal, painful experiences of sexual trauma, albeit painted and portrayed with unexpected splashes of colour, character, and Sarah’s ability to own those disturbing experiences through her own strength and power. She explains further,

UMA, Alt-Pop-Sängerin/Produzentin aus Barcelona mit Zweitwohnsitz in London, präsentiert nach zwei EPs, auf denen sie Kult-Folk-Künstlerinnen wie Linda Perhacs, Josephine Foster und Sybille Baier neben klassischer spanischer Gitarrenmusik kanalisierte, ihr neues Mixtape. JAI ist sowohl eine Erweiterung der Pulverfass-Chemie zwischen ihr und ihrem Co-Produzenten/Partner Luke Bower aka Lucy Lu, als auch eine Reise in einen reiferen Sound, bei dem sie mehr denn je ihren Instinkten und Eigenheiten vertraut. UMA zäjlt nicht nur für Mary Ann Hobbs (6 Music) und Jack Saunders' Future Artists (Radio 1) zu den zukünftigen Champions. Die LP erscheint auf recyceltem Eco-Vinyl, bei dem jedes Exemplar andersfarbig ausfällt.

Jude Woodhead AKA Saint Jude is a born and bred South London based producer who first approached songwriting after being diagnosed with Tinnitus which prevented him from pursuing his DJ career. While his previous works found space between genres, with elements of indie, ambient pop, hip-hop, Uk garage and noise, his debut self-produced album 'Signal' - out in November 2022 - rejects the limitations of genres altogether while anchoring his music firmly in the sounds of his native South London.
Conceptualized during the lockdown in 2020, ‘Signal’ is a self-portrait about coming of age during a time of political crisis and social change. Enlisting the help of past collaborators and friends (Aga Ujma, Low Loudly - Sarah from Drug Store Romeos - Louis Culture, Trim, HALINA and Zeke Ultra), Jude uses a wide range of voices to communicate different perspectives on his subject matter.
