More great new music from Soul:r's home city of Manchester. Chimpo is a local legend. He's been on the underground scene for years, dj'ing and producing his homemade blend of multi genre bass infused electronic music. Known also for his unique microphone skills, Chimpo's delivery style and wit is something to behold. This Ep showcases all of what chimpo has to offer. A release that will stand out for being different and yet totally devastating on the dane floor. The vinyl release contains a huge remix of the title track, "Frontline", by Calibre that utilises Fox's vocal and flips the sound back to the days of jungle techno. Add also the deadly production unit of Dub Phizix and Skeptical on lead track "Buzzin" and you have a package that we at Soul:r are very proud of indeed.

Soul:r returns from a break to release a brand new Marcus Intalex 12'. 'Sell Your Soul' hardsteps with menacing bass and 'You shouldn't have to sell your soul vocal drops. The weighty mix of rough beats, shuddering bass and gorgeous vocals slide sweetly over a swirling background. 'Guillotine' is a much more sinister track. Marcus creates a vibe that's full of bruising techno fear, whilst brilliantly funky. Robot stabs, with a dose of the abstract, this built for big sound systems and will suck you in.

The Vinyl version features six D&B tracks on 3×12' Vinyl. From the bright, florescent metallics of 'Celestial Navigation,'(feat S.P.Y.) through to the darker tinges of the sharp-edged, sparse landscape of 'Hot Hands.' D&B gets a slightly more menacing dub makeover, while 'Paulista' (feat S.P.Y.) & 'Wacky Races' both hold the layered, tightly produced drum programming that Intalex is known for. 'Meltdown' is a typically immaculate, roller that stems from collaborating with Calibre. The album's standout is the beautifully emotive 'Climbing Up The Walls, which features the vocals of Drum & Bass producer Danny Fierce, and stands as a breathtaking, adventurous take on Radiohead. come back with what Marcus says is the best Soul:R 12" there has been for a long time. For months now "Astral Travel" and "Aura"
have been turning heads in Intalex DJ sets all over the world as soon as they are played, with people rushing to find out what these
tunes are. This is the first single from Soul:R for 2013 and it sets the bar high.

Showing D&B can be emotive and inspiring whilst remaining powerful enough for the dancefloor. 'Lunar' on the flip roams with a Detroit techno and funk backbone keep the groove driving to end. Surreal sonics evolve as a wall shaking bass line contorts the sub frequencies. A classic 12' not to be missed.
