Following five acclaimed albums and over 50
million streams, South London trio Summers Sons
& C.Tappin return with ‘Lightworks’, their first
release with DeepMatter Records. Crafted over
eight years, the album marks a bold new chapter
for the trio, moving beyond the sample-led
production of previous releases in favour of fully
live instrumentation.
Blending jazz, soul and hip-hop, ‘Lightworks’ is a
deeply personal record centred around
perseverance, hope and purpose, whilst
showcasing the trio’s most expansive and
accomplished work to date.
Influencer and curator partnerships across jazz,
hip-hop, instrumental hip-hop and alternative
music spaces will support discovery and audience
growth, alongside continued support through
DeepMatter Records’ platforms, including the
newsletter and direct-to-consumer channels.
Additional content and rollout moments will be built
around key singles, visual assets and release
milestones throughout the campaign, alongside
community-led launch moments and live shows
supporting the release.
