A straight-up 4 to the floor club shaker, with powerful hard-hitting drums, deep punchy afro vocals with carnival whistles and percussion hits that will turn the dancefloor into a fiesta. Two dance heavyweights collide on our next offering; best-selling house artist CASSIMM and Chicago house royalty Gene Farris for their latest collaboration 'Party People'. With numerous #1 singles and remixes on Beatport and Traxsource, CASSIMM returns to Trax with his notorious sound of feel-good, high-energy house music, team that with Gene Farris as he effortlessly delivers another irresistible vocal hook. 'This is for my people, my party people'. James Haskell kicks things off on the b-side with 'Check It Out'. With numerous releases on D4 D4NCE, LoveJuice and of course Toolroom, James Haskell is fast gaining support from the scenes top tastemakers including Bob Sinclar, Leftwing : Kody, David Guetta, Tita Lau and Dombresky to name a few. Gracing club hotspots around the world, James Haskell is set to top the charts with his Tech House and Big Room sound. “Let’s Bounce” was originally issued on Ajana as one of their only 2 releases, the first being earlier from Central Power System on Numero Group’s The Chicago Party compilation. Tiger Jack remained elusive, both Jack and a copy of his record until we stumbled upon a contact and were able to get in touch and stitch together the fully extended mix of this Punk Funk Boogie Bopper. Speaking of Numero Group, The 2nd track of Side 1 comes from an assist from the reissue Gods themselves as they blessed us with this never-sold-on-discogs soulful side of Boogie Slap issued on one-and-done label Magikal. When asked about the track, songwriter CA Williams said they recorded it for a restaurant jingle. Probably the best one we’ve ever heard.

Side 2 starts off with an absolute Modern Soul Monster with Motherfox’s Hot Shot. John Harris came by Star Creature’s South Side of Chicago HQ to chop it up and share some stories on Motherfox and his other passion project most deep funkers would known as Carver High. This record has reached insane demand the past few years as it’s a certified floor filler for all scenes - peak big budget sound packed into a small DIY package, total package. Track 2 delivers the full version of the ever mysterious Pyramid Plus providing the Titular Tune “Comin’ At Ya’” as vocoded talkboxed low slung, spaced out Boogie Banger.

When the subtle tremors of traditional instruments resonate with the intricate tones of electronic sounds in an improvised dialogue, performers from distinct realms expand each other’s languages, creating a new sensory experience. The project album Ancient Moment marks the first collaboration between the Korean contemporary music ensemble WhatWhy Art and the Seoul underground electronic music collective vurt.. It is a record of a free journey where two different worlds collide and merge,

In Part 1 of the album, you will hear boundless performances by daegeum player Hong Yoo with electronic musician Unjin, and gayageum player Hwayoung Lee with ambient duo Hosoo. The recording was done in an improvised one-take format at STUDIO Y in Seoul, and Giuseppe Tillieci mastering enhanced the sonic quality.

Nexe Records marks its return by reconnecting with the core idea that first defined its identity — being a true nexus between artists, techno lovers, and the label’s vision. NX1 leads this new chapter with Core VA I, a project built around four collaborations with producers who share the same commitment to authenticity and forward motion in techno. This first volume sets the tone for what’s to come, creating a dialogue between distinct voices while preserving a unified aesthetic.

Opening the record, NX1 and Oxygeno pay tribute to loopy, hypnotic, and driving techno — groovy yet serious, perfectly crafted for deep and focused dance floors. Following up, the collaboration with Rommek delivers an intense, bleepy, and atmospheric track, infused with subtle sci-fi undertones and tension-filled layers that evolve naturally.

On the flip, NX1 and Unhuman explore a more classic but forward-looking take on techno. Clean percussion, dynamic progression, and precise energy shifts give the track a refined sense of movement, balancing power and clarity. Finally, Sunil Sharpe joins to close the release with a bold and energetic piece that captures the raw essence of the club — rhythmic, metallic, and charged with movement.

Overall, Core VA I stands as a statement of Nexe Records’ renewed identity: connecting artists through a shared vision of pure, functional, and evolving techno. Each collaboration offers a different voice, yet all converge in the same pulse that defines NX1’s sound and philosophy.

Rhythm N Vibe deals in exactly that across the house and garage spectrum. Marc Cotterell is a mainstay and gets the EP underway with 'I Want You,' a chunky and dirty garage swinger with tumbling bass and steamy vocal coos. Home Team & Greyhound then bring some old school piano magic to their 'Worth The Wait' and UrMUMSBSMT goes deeper with some liquid pads and burning diva vocals on 'Don't Ya.' International Swing Committee shuts down with 'Though Da Storm', which brings some silkier grooves and more light-footed rhythms with another masterfully plunging bass. Pure body music brilliance.

Celebrating 30 years of the legendary label, we pick legendary bombs and unreleased gems from Black Vinyl Records rich catalogue. From its inception back in 1996 Black Vinyl Records has always been a label for the serious DJs. Tony Humphries, Paul Trouble Anderson, Ricky Morrison, Justin Berkman, David Morales, Bobby & Steve and most serious Underground DJ’s supported the original vinyl release of Kerri Chandler’s early masterpiece ‘My Old Friend Alan’, dedicated to label founder Alan Russell, and it gained many more supporters following its recent digital re-Master. The David Harness remix of Tedd Patterson’s ‘Roots’ appears on vinyl for the first time here and was featured in no less than 25 Traxsource DJ charts after it’s digital release in 2022, including luminaries such as DJ Pope, Quentin Harris, Kevin Yost, Charles Dockins, and many more. The vocal mix of ‘Fever Tension’ by Fresh & Low has always been a sought after gem, only ever appearing on a ‘Re:Cuts’ release in early noughties, and ‘Rising Into Joy’ by Arnold Jarvis was championed by Danny Rampling, Paul Trouble Anderson, Andy Ward, Deli G and all the 'heads' and is the definition of a Soulful House Classic.

ANAOH INVITES - Homeground Edition

Celebrating 10 years of ANAOH, this special edition of the label's annual Invites series turns the focus inward. Fixon and Dig-It open the A-side with two collaborative tracks reflecting the sound and creative bond that has shaped the label over the years.
On the B-side, Damian Vargas and Victor Fernandez, key members of the ANAOH crew, contribute two distinctive cuts representing the label's close-knit artistic circle.

EFUNK Volume V is the fifth installation of the annual VA compilation featuring music from a curated collection of artists set to perform at Soul Clap’s House Of EFUNK touring party series. This release date on wax and digital is right in time for the official Movement Festival afterparty @ TV Lounge in Detroit that spans 2 days with 3 areas of sound. This year’s compilation features music from Soul Clap alongside long time friend and Baltimore favorite Baronhawk Poitier who present “Set The Scene”, a futuristic earthshaking groove with Baronhawk’s spoken vocals backed by Charles Levine’s vocoder and a Moog topline played by Baronhawk that won’t quit. Hercules & Love Affair makes a debut on the label with “Stay Ready” a chugging tracky / acid infused banger which should absolutely induce a dancefloor sweat. Kai Alce shares a discofied sample-licious crowd pleaser called “Boogie” with the help of additional keys by Byron Blaylock better known as Byron The Aquarius. Detroit’s new school starchild JMT joins with the hard hitting peaktime soul powered “Black Magic Touch” and last but certainly not least, Lauren Flax adds an edge of danger while calling for “Revolution” featuring vocals from Liz Wight. These tracks are sounding warm and round thanks to the mastering expertise of Caserta and have been dancefloor approved by Soul Clap!

VA – Paradisi Artificiali brings together four distinct sound compositions, each resisting the urge to resemble the others but united by the way they manipulate perception.
Polygonia crafts shifting rhythmic paths where the groove warps and regenerates in real time, maintaining an organic tension that keeps the body in motion without ever truly settling into place.
Feral operates through subtraction, slowing time and excavating sound’s spatial depth. Its tracks don’t progress so much as they envelop, drawing the listener inward into a layered, introspective space.
Agonis introduces a more unstable, sensory thread, weaving transitions and accumulations that build in stages. Frequencies become tangible matter, and the progression unfolds without ever erupting entirely.
Crossing Avenue weaves these directions together without hardening them, infusing the record with a more rooted, almost ancestral rhythmic element that surfaces in the structure of the patterns and the choice of timbre.
The result isn’t a neat synthesis, but a coexistence. The tracks unfold along a shared line without ever converging, articulating a dynamic balance between tension and release. It’s an album that works through gradual alterations, through subtle slippages in perception, as in “Les Paradis Artificiels”. The point isn’t escape, but intensification. The sound burrows deep, reshaping how things are experienced, until a denser, more ambiguous, more alive reality emerges.
