Long-time friend of the label Parris debuts on Wisdom Teeth with a unique set of steppy house mutations, including a collaboration with AD93 star Minor Science. The record begins in downtempo mode. ‘Soft Rocks With Socks’ rolls out majestically on a slo-mo drum break and a two-tone bass loop, with shimmering pads and bleeping melodies counterbalancing a deceptively punishing low end. ‘Terrapin’ - a link-up with Minor Science - is a pristinely produced 100 bpm stepper, featuring razor sharp drum synths and crystalline MIDI melodies. To close, ‘Sabor a Ceniza’ pushes the tempo up towards peak time. What begins as a broken rhythm settles into a 4x4 groove, finding the exact midpoint between Roska’s UK Funky and Margaret Dygas’s work on Perlon.

Duckett returns to Wisdom Teeth with another otherworldly four-tracker of melodic, trippin' house-n-techno. While recent outings on Berceuse Heroique and Solar Phenomena have showcased the more abstract edges of his sound, Corde Raide Vers Nulle Part comprises a collection of the Welsh producer's most melodious work to date. Throughout, the tracks are driven by snaking FM basslines, shimmering video game synths and tonal drums, creating a record that will appeal equally to fans of golden era Night Slugs, bleeping minimal techno, and the compositional electronica of labels like RVNG International and Latency.

The Record Follows On From Benoit's Excellent Japonaiserie Ep - A Stunning Tribute To Japanese Synth Music Released Last Year On Berceuse Heroique. Onvague À L'âme, The Melodic Ideas Developed On The Japonaiserie Ep Are Set To Work Against Broken Beats And Uk-leaning Rhythms, Bringing It In Line With The Output Of Wisdom Teeth Label-mates Duckett, K-lone And Don't Dj. The Ep Is Bookended By A Pair Of Euphoric Broken-beat Rollers: First, The Melodic Bleeps And Weighted Kicks Of The Title Track, And To Close, The Scuzzy Pads And Glissando Synths Of Kimono. Sat Between Them Are Two Lean, Smokey Half-steppers: The Record's Vocal Centrepiece, Gyvenimo Tekme (featuring Lithuanian Songwriter Dália), And Ice Valley - An Intergalactic Slowjam Built Around Dubbed-out Bleeps And Yearning Cluster Chords.

Freerotation founder Steevio lands on Wisdom Teeth with two deep, psychedelic cuts of modular 2-step techno - backed up by a low-slung, downtempo remix by Timedance labelhead, Batu.

'On Line': a collaborative album in parts, focused on themes of repetition, poly-metrics, transformation and abstraction. Volume 1 features contributions from Livity Sound protégé, Simo Cell, Berceuse Heroique regular, Don't DJ, and Wisdom Teeth label head, K-LONE. All of the tracks were written specifically for the project and in tandem, and all are connected by a constant pulse and communal headspace. The record opens with Simo Cell's 'Symmetry': a slow crescendo of whirring pads, melodic percs and dotted rhythms, all underpinned by thick slabs of sub-bass that, with each heavy hit, seem to collapse the track's atmosphere down and in on itself. Next, Don't DJ follows with the oblique, discordant chug of 'Übergang Zur Metrotram'. As with all of Florian's works, the track pulses with an organic, animal quality that completely belies its mechanical origins. Again, the track's space is filled with drifting pads and clanging chimes - but this time the atmosphere is close, discordant and chokingly dense. Last up, K-LONE clears the air with 'Woniso'. The track grows slowly out of a series of beautiful harmonic counterpoints - morphing patterns that come and go in the mix to reveal their individual colours and contours.

Freerotation resident Duckett lands on Facta and K-LONE's Wisdom Teeth label with a new 4-tracker, Gannets For Guano - the label's first single-artist EP, and Duckett's first for Wisdom Teeth. Having already released wonderful records on Galdoors, Greta Cottage and UntilMyHeartStops, Duckett's latest fits in perfectly amongst Wisdom Teeth's backcat - his malfunctioning rhythms and spoon-bent melodies occupying that sweet spot between order and chaos that the label has always done its best to occupy. More so than ever, Gannets For Guano sees Duckett exploring far-out territories. The melodies are psychedelic, the rhythms are disjointed and swinging - but always keeping just the right side of chaotic. Even at its most eccentric, the EP rolls with the functionality of techno, and boasts buckets of soul on account of Duckett's truly singular knack for melody. With Gannets For Guano, Duckett and Wisdom Teeth continue to establish themselves as go-to names for UK-rooted gear and tripped-out house and techno.
