While Seasons never had significant commercial success upon its release, it has since amassed a cult following, leading collectors to pay top dollar for copies of the rare record. Out of print since 1971, it has only been reissued once on CD.

In his liner notes accompanying this release, Dave Segal puts the album’s massive demand in perspective: “British label owner Jonny Trunk put up an original pressing of the LP for sale for an undisclosed but large sum on Instagram in January 2023, and it sold in five minutes. With Seasons back in circulation, maybe Pete Jolly will finally gain the broader audience that his phenomenal skills merit,” writes Segal. “If nothing else, it serves as a valuable lesson to artists: venturing outside of your comfort zone can bring the most interesting, enduring results.”

sind Furor Gallico mit voller Wucht zurück und vereinen einmal mehr auf brillante Weise extreme Metal-Musik mit traditionellen keltischen, irischen
und bretonischen Melodien. “Future to Come" kann zwar nicht als Konzeptalbum bezeichnet werden, aber die meisten Songs basieren auf der Idee
der körperlichen und geistigen Erlösung. Der Hörer taucht ein in eine facettenreiche Welt, in der jeder Song eines von vielen Szenarien darstellt - von
epischen und apokalyptischen Landschaften bis hin zur inneren Versöhnung mit uns selbst und der Erde - jedes einzigartig in seinem Stil und doch gut
ausbalanciert, um den Hörer auf eine Reise durch die Sorgen des Lebens und die Erlösung daraus mitzunehmen.

People Museum's full length album Relic was written and demoed shortly after hurricane Ida displaced our community for many weeks in the late summer of 2021. The first three days of work brought 3 of the album's core songs, including the title track of the record - Relic. Each song on the record contains layers of storytelling that speak to our city while also speaking to personal stories of love, loss, the unknown, catharsis, persistence. Living in New Orleans, we often take for granted the unique magic that is our community, something that the uncertainty of a natural disaster placed in the forefront of our minds. Relic is an attempt to bottle our collective histories, our memories and experiences, our love for our city. A way to hold tightly to the gift we have while we have it. The album uses New Orleans as a character - a lover who nourishes us and breaks our heart. A friend - ever contradictory but always worth fighting for, and someone who will inevitably leave an imprint on your heart.

Adrianne wagte sie sich ins Unbekannte, fasste sich ein Herz und schrieb ihre bis dato berührendsten Solo-Songs, die sie im Herbst 2022 mit einigen ihrer Lieblingsmenschen aufnehmen konnte. Abseits der Zivilisation und urbanen Einflüssen wagten sich Hakim, Davidson, Runsteen und Lenker ins Ungewisse. Der Co-Produzent und Tontechniker von "Bright Future", Philip Weinrobe, bereitete das Studio vor. Er war schon bei früheren Soloalben Adriannes Partner, aber dieses Mal war es etwas Neues. Adrianne hatte nicht die Absicht, ein Album zu machen. Stattdessen wollten sie die Songs ohne Erwartungen erforschen. Die Geborgenheit und Leichtigkeit des Waldes um das Double Infinity Studio ist ein prägendes Element der Aufnahmen. Das Ergebnis ist, dass "Bright Future" die besten Eigenschaften von filigranen Sounds mit der Spontanität von Field-Recordings vereint. Es gibt Details, die man erst beim zweiten oder dritten Hören entdecken wird und das macht die neuen Songs zu einem ungefilterten Erlebnis und beweist einmal mehr, dass Adrianne Lenker zu den größten Songwriterinnen ihrer Generation gehört. Near Future Residence is music for an imagined place based on real ideas; the soundtrack for an ecologically sustainable housing development somewhere in a not-too-distant future Britain. The eleven instrumental pieces here come from a place of optimism, imagining a future that is based on cooperation, community and ecological urbanism. It's music intended to sit in this imagined environment rather than impose upon it, similar in principle to the function of Kankyō Ongaku (Japanese environmental music). The ideas contained on Near Future Residence laid the groundwork for - and can be seen as a companion piece to - the album Your Wilderness Revisited, released to critical acclaim in 2019. Doyle explains how the pieces “were composed in entirely generative ways using samples of instruments, synthesisers and field recordings I've collected and developed throughout 2018. In generative composition, rules are set and parameters are chosen and then put into motion, the results constantly changing and surprising.”

Four sounds to share Where We Come From...

Wir haben so großartiges Feedback zur Future Sounds Of Kraut Vol. 1 bekommen, also kommt hier Volume 2: 17 moderne Kraut-Elektronik-Tracks (9 davon exklusiv und vorher unveröffentlicht) inspiriert von Kraftwerk, Can, Neu!, Cluster, Harmonia, Klaus Schulze und vielen anderen. Kuratiert und zusammengestellt von Compost-Künstler Fred und Luna. Die Collage auf dem Cover wurde - wie schon auf Vol. 1 - exklusiv von der fantastischen Künstlerin Norika Nienstedt aus der Kraut-Metropole Düsseldorf gestaltet.

Gar nicht einfach oder im Grunde unmöglich, den Begriff "Kraut" stilistisch zu beschreiben. Dennoch begeben sich Compost Records und Fred und Luna auf eine Zeitreise, um die unterschiedlichen Elemente deutscher elektronischer Musik der 1970er- und 1980er-Jahre und ihre Auswirkungen auf die neuere deutsche und weltweite Musikszene zu entdecken.
Nach dem großen Erfolg von Volume 1 wurde umgehend ein Nachfolger gestartet, der stilistisch an seinen Vorgänger anknüpft und darüber hinaus - da dies eine der Grundideen der Reihe ist - das musikalische Spektrum Schritt für Schritt um neue krautige Elemente erweitert. Auf Volume 2 finden sich deshalb nun auch ein paar cluborientierte und experimentelle Tracks.

Part two of the retrofuturistic 12’’ compilation series introduced by To Pikap Records. LEGACY inaugurates the release with an acid JeffMillsian ode to Detroit’s techno-electro sound, Future Draft takes us back to Europe with a euphoric broken house, while The Jaffa Kid concludes side A with a number of quirky melodies floating over Autechre’s (or Aphex Twin’s) memories of the genre previously known as idm. On side B, Odpein updates the Drexciyan electro palette slipping in elements of Chicago’s footwork combined with heavy acid bass, subsequently Dj Tsoug’s misty atmosphere crawls over some dry city bringing catharsis with its most anticipated drops of acid and finally happy99 enforces us to open up our eyes with a stripped and muffled techno-acid anthem of the future. It’s a must have till the next one!

The seventh album from the band - Samuel T. Herring (vocals, lyrics), William Cashion (bass, guitars), Gerrit Welmers (keyboards, programming), and Michael Lowry (drums) - follows 2020"s As Long As You Are. People Who Aren"t There Anymore heralds a new chapter for Future Islands who, despite having formed nearly two decades ago, continue to challenge themselves and each other. Where they"ve pursued ever-higher energy anthems in the past, they"ve turned inward this time, and unlocked a new level of ferocity, delivering some of their most inspiring and most heartbreaking tracks by doing the opposite: taking their time, making each breath, each syllable, each cymbal crash count. The result is a powerful, defining statement from a group of musicians that have made the best album of their career.
