Little house dishes for the sunshines moments !

Back in 1995 while living on the West Coast, at the peak of the Rave Experience, Dj Spun and Dhyan Moller recorded a bunch of live tracks, without any sequencer, all direct to cassettes.
Spun aka Jason Drummond, reached out last spring after rediscovering all the cassettes and asked us if we'd be interested in releasing some of the tunes.
Jason shipped us the cassettes and after a good transferring session, we decided we had to release all the tracks under a 3LP set. This stuff is fire. We still love DJ SPUN - and Dhyan Moller!

BAFTA award-winning actor Matt Berry looks to his formative years in this fascinating and unique take on the TV themes that have influenced and inspired him in his life. Recorded in his brand new studio with his regular band The Maypoles, Matt tackles eleven classic themes including well known titles such as 'Are You Being Served', 'Rainbow', 'The Liver Birds' and 'The Good Life' alongside some less obvious choices such as 'Picture Box', 'Wildtrak' and 'World In Action'. Released on CD, vinyl and digital formats, the release coincides with Matt's role as a spokesperson for the first National Album Day. This will see Matt appearing regularly in radio and in the press.

In 1996, Gavin and Scott Hardkiss entered the San Francisco Tenderloin studio frequented by the Grateful Dead and Fleetwood Mac and made Acid Funk and various remixes. It's a funny song that references Frankie Bones' This Is Techno and Maurices' This Is Acid and says a lot about a couple of guys drunk on funk who wanted to flip their own sounds. Raw house featuring 808s, 303s and Space Echo churned easy in a whimsical psychedelic cauldron.

Unavailable for 20 years, these remaining copies of the original pressing feature various versions by bothe Hardkiss brothers and an acapella.

Acid Jazz is pleased to announce that it has teamed up with the legendary Fania Records for our latest 7 inch release.

June 1st will see us release Ray Barretto's Mercy Mercy Baby lifted from his classic album Acid produced by Harvey Averne.

It is backed by an astounding and previously unreleased instrumental version,which is longer than the released version and has a stunning trumpet solo making it a summer dance-floor cooker.

Released on a specially designed label, which pays tribute to the first Gold Fania labels, this will be limited to a run of a 1000.

When Acid Jazz founder Eddie Piller asked Martin Freeman ('The Hobbit', 'Sherlock', 'The Office') to do a jazz radio show they could hardly imagine the response. From around the world emails and tweets inundated the show and they swore to themselves that they couldn't leave it there.

Now, two years on, this compilation of their favourite jazz has
arrived. From the rolling hard bop of Lee Morgan and Art Blakey, via screaming soul organ, jazz funk original acid jazz onwards to the post modern spiritual jazz of Kasami Washington, this is an incredible journey.

For our third Leroy Hutson 45 Acid Jazz have commissioned an exclusive edit by London DJ stars the Disco Freaks.


This see's Mr. Hutson's seminal classic Lucky Fellow make it's first appearance on 7 inch vinyl. Backed by his dance-floor winner 'Don's it make you feel good'.

This release forms part of Acid Jazz's ongoing reissue campaign of the recordings Mr. Hutson made for Curtom in the 1980s. All these releases are fully approved my Mr. Hutson, we are committed to honouring his legacy.
