"SABLE, fABLE" ist das fünfte Album des Projekts von Justin Vernon und enthält eine Liebesgeschichte, die mit üppiger, strahlender Popmusik unterlegt ist. "SABLE, fABLE" wurde von Justin Vernon und Jim-E Stack produziert und hauptsächlich in Vernons April Base in Wisconsin aufgenommen, nachdem das Studio während einer Renovierung jahrelang still lag. SK_eleven celebrates a decade of sonic exploration with a 13-track compilation showcasing its signature tension, technical discipline, and stylistic spectrum. Reuniting a tight circle of artists whose contributions have helped shape the label, the release offers an unrelenting sequence of pressure, mental twists, and textural collisions; a multifaceted snapshot of techno's enduring capacity to evolve, disturb, and seduce.

The compilation resists uniformity. Instead, it thrives on contrast: tension versus release, density against spaciousness, rhythm in all its permutations. From high-energy metallic openers and dub-inflected body rollers, to disorienting, delay-heavy experiments and stripped-back percussive tools, each contribution reveals a unique grip on groove and detail. Some tracks move like engineered machines: sharp, robotic, and syncopated to surgical precision. Others embrace sensuality and unpredictability, exploring spatial motion, layered harmonic friction, and states of controlled chaos. Each piece acts as a structural component in a larger sonic architecture, where tension is built, collapsed, and rebuilt. Friction becomes a form of choreography. Across the record, a shifting palette of emotional mechanisms takes form; granular and magnetic, haunting and quietly forceful, restrained, then disruptive.

More than a retrospective, SK_eleven's first compilation becomes a collective gesture toward techno's unresolved possibilities: its ability to hold contradiction, remain in flux, and mutate without conclusion.

BLK ODYSSY is an Austin-based artist and producer whose boundary-pushing sound blends soul, hip-hop, rock, funk, and pop. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, and raised in a household steeped in neo-soul, BLK began channeling his voice through music after the unjust killing of his older brother by police at age 12. That life-altering loss and the experience of growing up Black and male in 21st-century America fuels his raw, layered storytelling. His debut album, BLK VINTAGE (2021), written and produced with close collaborators, served as both a celebration and a critique of Black identity in America. It was met with critical acclaim and re-released in 2022 via Empire as BLK VINTAGE: The Reprise, featuring Mereba, Benny the Butcher, George Clinton, and Baby Rose. The project has since amassed over 100 million streams and positioned BLK ODYSSY as a standout voice in modern soul. Leonard Cohen's appearance on 20th March 1968 in a BBC television special had a huge impact and contrib-uted greatly to his success in this country. We are delighted to present eleven of the songs he played, rec-orded in excellent sound. Backed by a select group of UK musicians including Danny Thompson and Dave Cousins, Cohen performed seven tracks from his debut LP. The remaining tracks appearing on subsequent records, with the exception of There's No Reason You Should Remember Me. Comes with full recording de-tails and extensive sleeve notes.

In 1978, Muddy Waters released one of his most essential works towards the end of his career.

Titled I'm Ready, the album was produced by Johnny Winter and followed Hard Again, their first collaboration.

It was immediately hailed as a blues classic.

Twelve tracks from the New York Dolls recorded live for TV and radio in 1973, showcasing a raucous rock’n’roll band in their prime. Two cover versions – Hoochie Coochie Man and Give Her A Great Big Kiss – were never included on either of the band’s two original studio LPs. Comes with full recording details and extensive sleeve notes.

The title comes from a previously unreleased version of All The Young Dudes (track one, side one) specially recorded for the BBC. Elsewhere we have two further studio tracks aired by Sounds Of The Seventies, live versions of Midnight Lady and Thunderbuck Ram recorded for FM radio and a ferocious set of four live tracks originally broadcast on French TV in 1971.

Detroit producer Sheefy McFly delivers his first release outside the US, featuring vocals from DJ Mo’Betta, Bevlove, Lola Damone, Tiptonaires and Etherpussy.

Aside from producing, Sheefy runs the Ghettotechtopia party series in Detroit, has previously worked with Amp Fiddler for a release on Moodymann's Mahogani Records and has remixed and released for AUX88.

As a visual artist, he creates colourful murals all over Detroit, inspired by the Motor City's musical history like the "Detroit Never Left" mural featured on the sleeve.

Few French house artists have the canon and credibility of Franck Roger over such a long period of time. It seems hardly a week goes by without a new drop - or a new old drop - of gold, and here he continues his work with Seasons Limited. 'Tapis Rouge' kicks off with the sort of warming depths that have long been his trademark, this time underpinned with dubby swing. 'If I Had' is a more soulful cut with a cheeky bassline and swirling synths that are utterly ageless. 'Love Potion' is a romantic sound with dreamy pads and 'Have I Lost You' has a zoned-out feel for when you want to give yourself over to the groove and gaze at distant chords.

Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his 'Translate Rhythms' EP on Mutual Rytm's X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDW's new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12" 'You And Me', which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub.

In its original form, the bright, expressive 'Flow' is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The 'Chord Dub' is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the 'Breakbeat Mix' fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.

KiNK & Raredub launch new sub-label Raw on SHDW's Mutual Rytm with bold two-tracker 'You And Me', backed by a VIP remix of 'Time To Change' from Paul Woolford aka Special Request.

Following their standout debut on Spectra with 'Time To Change', Bulgaria's finest dance music export KiNK & Raredub return to the Mutual Rytm universe to launch the label's new sub-series: Mutual Rytm Raw. Their latest release, 'You And Me', marks the next step in their collaboration - two stripped-back yet anthemic cuts that embody their signature sound: "Rude Boy Techno", a fusion of techno's drive with the swing and grit of UK Garage. Both versions of 'You And Me' are built for the floor, combining sharp percussion, catchy vocal hooks, and powerful low-end pressure - minimal in structure but rich in character and groove.
