Analog Room Director and co-founder Mehdi Ansari expands his dedication to the electronic music scene of the Middle East. After six years of weekly events, presenting quality and cutting edge electronic music from around the globe, the educating continues with the launch of Moozike Analog Room. Moozike ('Music of' in Farsi) Analog Room launch is to showcase the sounds and artists that Analog Room is all about.
The first release is an EP by Analog Room's co-founder and resident artist Salar Ansari who has been producing for over a decade. Salar's sound is influenced by a very unique mix of
residencies from Tehran and Dubai to Detroit, Michigan. It took all these years for Salar to reach a place where he is happy to share his work with the world.
In this release he speaks jazz in house music by a very romantic conversation of percussions, horns, keys and bass. The release contains of 2 special remixes by Patrice Scott and Donald
Lee Roland II where both explain their angle of these heavenly compositions.

Belgium DJ / Producer ED1999 kicks off the debut release for his newly minted 'Porpax' imprint with 'Melodius Hubbub, a 4-track EP of hypnotic dark Techno saturated with modular wizardry. The release confidently displays ED1999's production power as well as the serious direction the label is aimed at taking. The music featured clearly inspired by the energy found in Tbillisi, Berlin, Detroit and anywhere else heavy duty underground music is celebrated.

'Path Of Hope' is a punchy mover heavy on the reverb, with washes of metallic gray atmospherics floating in and out of the steady analogue drum patterns. The track grows in energy throughout with additional claps, hi hats and melodies generating an absolutely effective tension building weapon.

Title track 'Melodius Hubbub' is pure hypnotic Techno at its absolute finest. Black as midnight elements drive the energy to dark territories. ED1999's perfectly positioned sonic peaks and valleys of thick musical textures ensure the dancefloor never loses a moment getting lost in the incredibly positioned hypnosis of sound.

'Winding Course' is centered around a gurgling synth ride which gives the track an uneasy and twisted vibe throughout. Additional melodic effects join the main synth, adding a romantic sense of danger and dancefloor movement. Akin to ED1999's brilliant ability to keep his music restrained and effective for serious club-goers.

'Sleazy Nook' is the darkest of the dark tracks found on the release, with shudder inducing effects and ice cold soundscapes residing alongside the winding rhythms. A truly intense breakdown midway through the track generates a clever sense of sinking, with only the kick drum returning to keep people safe from going under.

The highly anticipated second issue of the Dancer anthology by Pauli Steinbach,
Sascha Dive and Patrick Kunkel centres on one of the most quoted vocal samples in the history of house music. It is a
homage to Soul Train, Paradise Garage and other hot spots from the initial period of electronic dance music in the early
80s. Pauli and Sascha dance through the glitzy portal of Soul Train, a relaxed deep disco hymn where even the saxophone
samples fit like the icing on the cake.
Pauli and Sascha do this in a funky way and with the modernized kinky understanding that is characteristic for Dancer.
The remix on the flip side produced by Pauli in cooperation with Patrick ventures a little further from the original sound structures. It presents itself as a kindred handclaps orgy with borrowings from
acid disco. "Come on, spread yourself over me like peanut butter", but of course -- with pleasure.

Following a split tape with Ondness on Discrepant's imprint Sucata Tapes , Serpente returns to Tormenta Electrica after its debut with 'Rituais 101' . A circular suite in four interchangeable parts, 'A Noiva ' projects itself as a gateway into off kilter hypnosis summoned from ecstatic polyrhythms, jungle debris, dub tactics and the occasional 4/4 thump via free jazz streams of consciousness. A drawn out percussion workout around the communal fire. Come along. We're here.

French trio Empire State bring their sophomore release to Veyl in the form of 'B.R.U.', a scorching hot noholds- barred 6-tracker full of kicks to the face, fermented lyrics and monumental riffs. Post-punk, postindustrial, post-apocalyptic and post-everything else, if tracks like 'Cuntworms' and 'Blow' don't get you hyped we don't know what will. For fans of Suicide, Powell, Giant Swan.

Martin Buttrich, a name synonymous for decades with expertly curated sonic productions, has had a career as long as it has been prolific. From youthful productions as an 18 year old under the alias 'X-Rotation', to his 2010 debut album 'Crash Test' and its follow-up 'Collaborator, Vol. 1' in 2016, he is an artist who has constantly evolved. Now he's back to showcase his latest EP 'Northeast / Southwest' on Planet E, due for release on 1 February. 'It's been 11 years since my last full release on Planet E and I am so happy to be able to kick off 2019 in style and return to my spiritual home. I spent the last few months working on these tracks at my studio in Barcelona and am looking forward to sharing them with you'. - Martin Buttrich The opening track 'Northeast' sees punchy stabs interlace with a shifting melodic bass, both dancing playfully over and under shuffling snares and hats which carry the listener from start to finish. 'Southwest' continues on with a bouncing percussive groove that provides the platform for a canorous bassline and string melody to emerge.

The latest transmission from Francis Harris' exquisite Scissor And Thread imprint showcases the many talents of Tokyo's Tomi Chair aka Tominori Hosoya. The DJ and producer goes by both names, and here presents five tracks of lush, emotional music veering between ambient excursions and dance floor heaters. The original version of title track 'Tropical Imagination' opens the EP, and is a deep and thoughtful dance floor number. Elegant chords set the tone while the percussion adds a silky funkiness that's impossible to ignore. The 'Dream Version' strips the track down to its pads and atmospheres. Next up is Tomi Chair's 'Heat Exhaustion' - an exceptionally beautiful beatless piece that drifts through droney pads and occasional fragments of minor key melody. Using the Tominori Hosoya moniker, side B begins with 'We Are Here' - another powerfully restrained piece that merges woody percussion with low key pads and field recordings to create a magical whole. Francis Harris adds his touch to 'Heat Exhaustion' with his respectful Reform version, adding skittering percussion and underpinning the piece with a leftfield ambient house edge that builds and builds. In 2012 Important Records released a historic 12 CD box set compiling much of Pauline Oliveros' early and unreleased electronic work. Reverberations 1 is the first release in an ongoing series dedicated to releasing the entire 12 CD box set on vinyl.

Organized chronologically by studio (here: Pauline Oliveros Home Electronic Music Studio, 1961 & San Francisco Tape Music Center, 1964-1966), the complete Reverberations not only documents Pauline's earliest electronic music but it also functions as an early history of electronic music itself.

Pauline Oliveros, composer, performer and humanitarian was an important pioneer in American Music. Acclaimed internationally, for four decades she explored found, forging new ground for herself and others. Through improvisation, electronic music, ritual, teaching and meditation she has created a body of work with such breadth of vision that it profoundly effects those who experience it and it eludes many who try to write about it.

Off the back of the highly conceptual project 'Plata - Last Dayz', Circadian Rhythms quickly return to focus on their white label series and solidify their signature sound. CRWL003 takes form of three club driven tracks from the arsenal of Leicester based producer R@ (Lewis Ireson). The 21 year old's current studies in Video Game Development have evidently started to seep into the ferocious sound that has drawn him attention.
His praised debut EP 'Neural' was released on Stella Beats in October 2018 and following his DJing debut at the CR003 Live event alongside Mssingno and Plata, he now continues this run with his first vinyl release, showcasing his signature production.

In the cracks that sprawl between electronic and analog music, visual art, and craft creation, Yamila dances on the edge of sound and conceptual heights. The Spanish composer, cellist, singer and producer is based between Belgium, Holland and Spain. In recent years Yamila has created music for contemporary dance productions in places such as The Gothenburg Opera, Netherlands Dans Theater, and Dance Forum Taipei, among others. Her projects have been presented at festivals such as Sonic Acts Festival (Amsterdam), Arts Electronica (Linz), Seoul International Computer Music Festival, STRP Festival (Eindhoven), and Today's Art festival (The Hague) to name a few.

With 'Iras Fajro' (Forbidden Colours), her debut album, Yamila, summons in 11 songs with the strength of electronic sounds in front of a fragile voice that at times unfolds in small coral clusters. The brilliant electronic arpeggios and rhythms dissolve in the velvety voices of the cello, which are sometimes intertwined with the creations of two collaborators, the British producer and composer Clark (Warp) and the multifaceted ex- flamenco Nin~o de Elche (Sony).

Kicking off with 'May 1932' - a screeching, relentless funk driven jam backed with the offbeat electronics of 'Of Cotton' - a trippy skittish techno headnodder.

Anderson .Paak's new album, Oxnard, is a nod to the Southern California city where Anderson grew up. It is the Grammy-nominated artist's 3rd studio album and the first to be released on Dr. Dre's label Aftermath Entertainment. Oxnard will include his latest single, 'Tints' featuring Kendrick Lamar along with album features from J. Cole, Pusha T and many more. Earlier this year, Anderson .Paak shared with Rolling Stone that "... this is the album (he) dreamed of making in high school, when (he) was listening to (Jay-Z)'s The Blueprint, The Game's The Documentary, and (Kanye West)'s The College Dropout."

Reaper Recordings is a brand new label focusing on delivering a regular supply of second to none jungle and jungle related music.

Reaper is getting the ball rolling with the first in a series of 10' vinyl releases courtesy of Ghosty, who has released music under many different aliases for over 15 years. Presented here are two tracks of meticulously programmed hardcore jungle: modern production values and attention to detail whilst maintaining grit, dirt, warmth and weight. Both tracks have recently been road tested with great reception at various Jungle events around the UK.

Side A, 'Dead Already' is a low slung, bass driven, dark jungle workout with creeping, tape saturated arpeggios with powerful lows and aggressive, punchy percussion.

Side B, 'Forward' is a soul influenced, 94 style jungle track. Solid, deep sine basses hold down the chopped, steppy, dynamic drums.

The third release in the Anopolis trilogy coincides with the founding of Anopolis Records.
Like the previous two EPs, DIMADOU takes reference points from the sound of the 90s and avoids getting bogged down with track titles. The first track, A19 is noticeably influenced by the Sheffield scene and Rising High records. The EP continues with the heavy bass line and the TR-707 drums of A18, a strong nod to the Chicago sound. On the B side, drum machines dominate in A21 and A20 with their piercing sound hinting towards the style of Ron Hardy. Rounding off the EP is the atmospheric A17 and its warm, hazy pads.
This final part of the trilogy is simultaneously the beginning for further releases through the project s new imprint Anopolis Records.

* These recordings stretch back to the tail end of the late 1980's, with the original line up of Dub The Earth, who were one of a few dub reggae-inspired groups sprouting up in the west of England in those times, such as Military Surplus (who morphed into Radical Dance Faction), Rhythmites and Revolutionary Dub Warriors who all had a strong presence in the free festival scene in the UK at that time.* Featuring the late Steve Swann (Revolutionary Dub Warriors, On-U Sound) on vccals and mixed & produced by Rej Forte from Jah Works.
* The 10" features a vocal, dub and a violin cut.
* The vocal and violin cut have only previously appeared on the cassette only various artists release `One Foundation' from 1990.

The second release by Eva Keyes, which follows up `Tired of the City' (PRTL7057).
* `Light Shining' is produced and mixed by the mighty Steve Vibronics from Leicester's Scoops label.
* The heavyweight rhythm and dub mix is balanced out by Eve's accessible and catchy vocal style.
* Eva, who originally hails from Limerick, Ireland, is creating a bit of a stir in the roots / dub scene and more is expected from her on Partial in 2019.
