Dieses Jahr kommt die 25-jährige Jubiläumsausgabe des zehnten Studioalbums von R.E.M., New Adventures in Hi-Fi. Das 1996 erschienene Album war die letzte Studioaufnahme von R.E.M. mit Gründungsmitglied Bill Berry, der die Band im folgenden Jahr einvernehmlich verließ. Als fünfte Zusammenarbeit der
Band mit dem langjährigen Produzenten Scott Litt (Green, Out of Time, Automatic for the People und

the Letter” (mit Patti Smith) und ”Bittersweet Me” und ist mit einer Gesamtlaufzeit von 65 Minuten die
längste Studioveröffentlichung von R.E.M.. New Adventures in Hi-Fi erlangte Jahre nach seiner Veröffentlichung Kultstatus und wurde in mehreren Presserückblicken - und von den Bandmitgliedern selbst -
als eines der besten Alben im R.E.M.-Katalog eingestuft.

”Live at The Troubadour” ist ein Live-Album von James Taylor und Carole King, das ursprünglich im
Jahr 2010 veröffentlicht wurde. Im November 1970 traten die beiden aufstrebenden Stars zum ersten
Mal gemeinsam im The Troubadour in West Hollywood, Kalifornien, auf. Sechsunddreißig Jahre später
kehrten James Taylor, Carole King und Mitglieder ihrer berühmten Originalband ”The Section” (mit dem
Gitarristen Danny Kortchmar, dem Bassisten Leland Sklar und dem Schlagzeuger Russell Kunkel) für drei
Nächte und sechs Shows in den Troubadour zurück, um das 50-jährige Jubiläum des Veranstaltungsorts zu
feiern. Diese historischen Momente sind in ”Live at The Troubadour” dokumentiert. Die bemerkenswerte
Aufnahme enthält 15 Songs und 75 Minuten atemberaubende Auftritte ihrer größten Hits, darunter ”You’ve
Got A Friend”, ”Fire and Rain”, ”I Feel The Earth Move” und viele mehr.

On LP for the very first time, the vivid musical cues that American jazz
pianist and composer Vince Guaraldi wrote for the cast of Peanuts characters, adding new dimensions to beloved regulars like Peppermint Patty, Schroeder, Sally, and, of course, Charlie Brown.
In addition to nine songs performed by Guaraldi, the album also includes two classic Peanuts tunes recorded by pianist George Winston. Eight of the selections on Peanuts Portraits (including Winston renditions of “Linus And Lucy” and “Masked Marvel”) make their vinyl debut.
