Circle 3 is the 9th vinyl release on Blank Code Records and is the 3rd release in the Circle series produced by Detroit native Mutate (Len Bartush), with remixes by Luis Flores, Mike Parker, and Project 313.
Circle 3 exemplifies the spirit of Detroit Techno. A deep, rich kick with a nice snappiness keeps the beat driving as heavily filtered synths reverberate through time, reminiscent of Detroit's classic MSeries records. Tight, delicate percussion plays with some aggressive claps creating the dynamic of a true modern classic.
Luis Flores delivers a solid remix that completely deconstructs the original track while keeping it's most bold elements. The kick is booming, the bass is tight, and there's a mean hook that loops it's way around the percussion, really drawing you inside the track's world.
Mike Parker dispatches an upfront rework, shrinking the original elements of the track into a veracious hook, supported by clocklike kicks and hats..
Project 313 deliver a standout remix that really highlights the atmosphere of the original track. The echo of the crunchy stabs dissolve into an endless feedback loop, as clicky hats and a solid downbeat pull everything together.
Exclusive to the digital version is another Mutate original, Recursive. This downtempo track dives deep into dub, with sparse chord stabs that let their echoes form the dominant rhythm. A wicked groove is formed by the broken kick and finely chopped percussion that glitches on beat.
A side bringa a long 130 bpm Unit Moebius Live excerpts, and shorty XP tunel. B sides stand a 160 BPM Yukai tune and his acid mental style techno tribe and a second little track of acid anaolik sound. A superb record, like the others Ceaseless : well produced with a wicked selecta of tunes ! Respect !

A three track EP opens with an intelligent minimalistic track 'Somewhere out there' - this catchy bassline, wicked and smart game of beats will definitely open your mind and take you on a ride. 'Eleos' is uncompromising dancefloor bomb with strong acid line, accompanied with warm synth theme which will take you back in time. To conclude this amazing EP, here is 'Hidden Projections' track, another 'acidish' gem that proves how talented Vid Vai is.
Krone and Malsum team up once again for this amazing new release on FKZ:LTD. Heavy on the neurotip, the A-side starts off with a creepy soundscape and rolling yet subtle break edits. The synth takes the overhand and leads you into the monsterous bassline. Wicked!
For the flip Krone created a solo piece of music that could easily fit on motherlabel Fokuz as well. A nice musical piece of music filled with the trademark Krone basslines and sweeps. Diverse EP for both traditional neuro fans as for the Fokuz crew!
Northbase are a crew built up of several well know Jungle DJ's and producers (we'll let you do the digging) hailing out of Manchester, London and Leeds. Ruffneck - The club smasher! features hardcore stabs, rolling amens, thunderous sub. All the vibes of a classic jungle rave at a cruising 140 tempo. Sounds wicked mixed with Dubstep half step beats. Somebodies had a bit too much of a party! Hoovers, massive stabs, amens and the infections repetition of open your mind, this one will have your dancefloor climbing the walls, with a big smile. Fantastic new LP on Pin Cushion Records featuring eight superb tracks of the finest funky rock, folk and soul. The A side kicks off with the awesome funky monster 'Save Me', an absolute dancefloor bomb with slamming b-line from Nanette Workman's self titled 1976 LP. Next up is the super funky 'Lucky Lost Sin', a wicked female vocal funk-folk-jazz cut that also works well in the clubs, followed the great uplifting vibe of Rory Block's 'Lovin' Of Your Life'. Closing this side we have the wonderfully laid-back 'Santa Cruz Mountains' taken from Eddie Callahan's hugely in-demand and impossible to find 'False Ego' LP. The flip side features the excellent 'Spill The Wine', a great Rhodes-driven workout from Eric Burden's WAR, followed by David Amram's 'Message To The Politicians of the World', a killer spoken word track over a sweet melody. Next up is Friends Of Distinction's 'Light My Fire', an amazing funky cover of the Doors' classic taken from their rare 1969 Highly Distinct LP and last but not least a cool breezy summer groover from Bay Area band Kingfish whose lineup included the legendary Bob Weir, founder member of The Grateful Dead. A superb selection of tracks, not to be missed.

Tearing through the streets again with wicked track after wicked track! Pounding Grooves don't stop! This heavy low end bomber is sprinkled with static dust which grunges it up nicely. Then comes along Valvestat who gives us a new taste of UK-style tech, mixxing heavy kicks and technical percussions with subtle black strings of death! Huge!
