Rosa is a new project from two long established Berlin-based artists, Roman Lindau and Sascha Rydell, and ColorCode is the new label they have minted together. Building on the success of their first three EPs is this fourth collaborative offering that is essential once more. As close friends with more than 20 years of experience DJing and producing, this pair know a lot about crafting weighty grooves that make floors move. They have done so many times over on labels like Berlin's well regarded
Fachwerk and this new project is rooted in the belief that you should "not take yourself too seriously, and have fun doing what you love." First up is 'Just Wanna' with its galloping, rubbery kick drums and incendiary hi hats. Whirring vocal loops and heavy hits builds the pressure and lock you in this most chunky and funky of techno grooves. The excellent 'Flash' then traps you deep in the dance floor amidst the smoke and the lasers, with well sequenced chords panning about the mix and brooding bass sucking you in from below. It's is suspensory techno with a real emotional quality.

No Fuss is back with a 14th outing that levies up to its name of dealing in only quality, fad-free sounds. Saison kicks off here with 'The Truth' which is a deep, lithe and soulful sound laced with soft acid, before DJ Romain's 'I'm Gonna Love You' taps into 90s New York house depths with neat organ stabs. On the reverse, Manuel Sahagun gets loopy with his bumping and raw 'Rouff' and its deft melodic curlicues while classy house operator Toni Lionni's remix of Deepmore's 'Babe' is a prime slice of serene and gently back-lit deep house hypnosis.

Third Space returns with ‘Third Wave’ and it’s a big one! The latest Various Artists EP gathers four deep and soulful house cuts from talented producers SY, Mbius, Jay Gadian, and label boss Miguel Seabra. A tribute to vibey, musical house tracks made for both the soul and the dancefloor. Each tune stands strong as an anthem, respecting the rich heritage of house music while dressing it in fresh, modern grooves. True to Third Space tradition, ‘Third Wave’ arrives as a limited vinyl-only release, capped at 150 copies with a strict no repress clause. A must-have for collectors and house music enthusiasts alike.

Echonomist drops debut Rekids EP with ‘My Religion’. He follows his recent remix for Frankey & Sandrino on the label with collaborations with OVEOUS and Ede.

Greece’s Echonomist, aka Petros Manganaris, returns to Rekids with the ‘My Religion’ EP, arriving 30th January 2026 and featuring collaborations with OVEOUS and Ede. It follows his 2025 remix for Frankey & Sandrino, which won plays from HAAi, John Digweed, Auntie Flo, and more, alongside recent music on labels like Habitat, Innervisions, and its sublabel, Exit Strategy.

Echonomist’s ‘My Religion’ EP opens with the title track, where he teams up with Hyper Soul founder OVEOUS for a loopy, hypnotic cut driven by an alarm-like sequence and tripped-out spoken word vocal. OVEOUS returns on ‘We Surrender’, adding psychedelic, warped phrases over deep bass and an infectious clap-led groove. On the fl ip, Echonomist joins fellow Innervisions artist Ede for ‘The Heat’, a heavy-hitting, party-starter packed with larger-than-life
sirens, big snare rolls, and funky sample work. Petros closes the EP solo with ‘Master Groove’, pairing the drums back while echoing spoken lines ride above an irresistible bassline, rounding off a versatile release built to land with adventurous listeners and on peak-time fl oors alike.
Greek DJ, producer, and live performer Petros Manganaris became Echonomist in 2008 and has since become known for his prolifi c output on labels Innervisions, Afterlife, Kompakt, TAU, and more, alongside collaborations with the likes of WhoMadeWho and numerous top-tier remix projects for Âme, Ry X, and Stephan Bodzin.

Colombian-born, Buenos Aires-based DFRA is much loved by real house heads. Quite often, whatever he drops on wax sells out fast, and this one via People Of Earth is likely to follow suit. 'Dreamscape' opens with subtle synth swirls injecting joy into the deep, languid drums as muted chords bring the heat. 'Hold Home' is a comforting hug that locks you in the groove with nimble chords and smeared pads, and injections of aching soul vocals. 'The Free Spirit Of House Music' is a loopy number that taps into the sort of tracky-ness that Rick Wade has made a career of. Canadian legend Abacus steps up with a dreamy, zoned-out remix to close.

Hearts and Minds is a new vinyl-only label founded in 2025 by house-head Rich Carrick, named after his Northern UK club night of the same name (co-founded with DJ partner Rayees), and dedicated to showcasing the finest underground artists old and new who have influenced him over the past 30 years. First up is a hero of the scene who carries on his tradition of making 'sublime, sophisticated machine music' with something a little different, in the form of two deep chuggers that will sound equally as good on more discerning dance floors, or on home systems. Lead track 'Acid Cry' brings to mind the menacing, string-laden intensity of Underworld's 'Dark and Long', while the flip-side 'Feel That Vibration' is an uplifting euphonic workout reminiscent of a Spirit Catcher composition. The quality is, unsurprisingly, high, and there are more exciting releases planned for the near future. Definitely one to watch!

Watershed is the ninth studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Opeth. Watershed is the first studio album by Opeth to feature guitarist Fredrik Åkesson and drummer Martin Axenrot, who replaced longtime guitarist Peter Lindgren and drummer Martin Lopez. The artwork for the album was made by Travis Smith in collaboration with Mikael Åkerfeldt. Opeth is a band that has been taking amazing chances and managed to not only win new fans, but not alienate older ones. A perfect blend of the death metal of Still Life and Blackwater Park, the monolithic riffage of Deliverance and Ghost Reveries, and the prog/classicism of Damnation combined with classic Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and Scorpions. i feel the modern concert film is a matriarchially friendly construct , welcomed in the current climate . where female musicians can share their worlds uncorrupted . in cornucopia , i was joined by musical director and multi instrumentalist bergur þórisson , percussionist manu delago , flute septet Viibra , harpist katie buckley and the hamrahlid choir .

i spent last decade working with 360-degree sound and visual software in virtual reality and animation, creating Biophilia and later Vulnicura as a VR album . i was deeply inspired by the idea of a fully-immersive experience spreading Utopia and Fossora into fully surround speakers . my intention was to bring what we had created for 21st-century VR into a 19th-century theatre - taking it from the headset to the stage .

this vision was realised with 27 moving curtains that captured projections on different textures and LED screens , creating a digitally animated show : a "modern lanterna magica" for live music . i also wanted to feature bespoke instruments: a magnetic harp , an aluphone , a circular flute , and a reverb chamber , specially built with an audio architect to enhance the most intimate version of a performance—in a personal chapel .

throughout this tale, there is a subplot woven in : a second story of an avatar—a modern marionette who alchemically mutates , from puppet to puppet , from the injury of a heart wound to a fully healed state . i hope you enjoy it . warmness , björk

London-based producer Tar Blanche, also known as a member of the dreampop band Yumi Zouma, unveils How to Dance Freely Without Social Anxiety, a 7-track journey through jazz-house, deep house, and chill-out lounge.
With a sound that resonates alongside artists like dublon, Table, and Berlioz, the English producer blends ambient textures, refined guitar riffs, and emotive productions, crafting an intimate yet hypnotic atmosphere. Signed to Délicieuse Records, Tar Blanche continues to push boundaries, cementing his place as one of the most exciting producers in modern electronic music.

Ivan The Tolerable returns with Chromophobia, an expansive new double album and his fourth for Riot Season after ‘Water Music’ & ‘Vertigo’ (both 2024) and ‘An Orphan Form’ (2025)
Chromophobia carries with it a deep personal history. The earliest recording sessions date back to 2018 at the IDI in Middlesbrough, engineered by longtime collaborator Nigel Crooks over the course of three weekends. The material was left unfinished for years, shelved for reasons that accumulated and compounded - until the tragic passing of Crooks in 2023. His unfinished work lingered, and the desire to complete it became a mission.
“In the end, I finished this record for Nigel, above all else,” says Oli Heffernan (Ivan The Tolerable). “It always annoyed him that it never got done.”

To bring the album to completion, the original stems were passed to producer Hugh Major (formerly of Benefits) in early 2024. Across a year of meticulous experimentation - countless versions, radical reconstructions, entire songs torn down and rebuilt - the album transformed into something wholly new. The final collection spans 14 tracks, reimagined from the ground up yet still anchored to the spirit of the sessions that began it.
“It’s a very different beast from where it started,” Heffernan adds, “but I think Nigel would really like it - and be glad it was finally finished.”
Chromophobia stands as both a reinvention and a tribute: a document of persistence, creative overhaul, and the enduring impact of a lost collaborator.

Jaime Fennelly, as Mind Over Mirrors, makes music that pushes the known to the lip of the unknown, where it rocks precariously and in exhilaration. He scrambles the familiar and tweaks the comfortable, not through aggression, but a throbbing estrangement. When placed at a distance, these require longer reaches to grasp. The reward for this effort is an enlarged field of perspective, experience, and also of feeling. This is deeply feeling music to feel deeply.

In all of Jaime’s records—and, arguably, especially in Particles, Peds, & Pores—there’s a seed of the pastoral, some ancient shepherd’s song ringing through nearby hills and groves, but one also yearning to plumb the uncanny and the creative possibilities of disintegration. “Farewell to woods,” the grieving Damon sings in Virgil’s eighth Eclogue. “Let all be ocean now.” Fennelly sounds vast, enveloping wildernesses and the thrilling disquiet of their echoless grandeur. (Maybe Burroughs speaks to the borders of these zones: “Pulsing mineral silence as word dust falls from demagnetized patterns.”) There’s something of the heroic at work here, too, although the hero’s instinct has been suitably tempered—or awed—to know not to fly too close to the sun.

After digging deep into the overwhelming archives of Discos Fuentes, Codiscos and Discos MAG in our previous volumes, this fourth instalment in the series "Cumbia Cumbia Cumbia!!!" comprises 28 Colombian cumbia bangers for the dance floor from the deep vaults of Discos Tropical, all of them originally released between 1960 and 1984. The historical origins of cumbia are nebulous and imprecise. The mythology surrounding it suggests an ancient past when Amerindian, African and European musical sounds were mixed together. Discos Tropical was a Barranquilla-based label founded in the mid-1940s by Luis Emilio Fortou Pereira, a visionary who helped define Colombian dancing habits and tastes from the previous century. Until the late '50s, most cumbias were orchestral-based. However, even though formats and styles diversified from the following decade onward, these highly popular big bands spectacularly defined the sound of Discos Tropical and livened up the most cosmopolitan dances in the major coastal cities. After the mid-'60s, the big bands gradually fell into decline, but the popular demand for tropical music did not. Facing this situation, the major record companies created smaller-format groups with one particular feature: they mixed accordion music with brass bands. This new volume of "Cumbia Cumbia Cumbia!!!" combines well-known classics and rarities that are difficult to find in their original formats. An invitation to enjoy and be amazed, above and beyond ethnographic and academic concerns. Double Vinylalbum
