SCHANDMAUL, die unangefochtene Speerspitze des deutschen Mittelalter Folk Rocks, enthüllen ihren neuesten Geniestreich und lassen wahrlich den Knüppel aus dem Sack. Das elfte Album der deutschen Ausnahmekünstler erscheint am 10. Juni 2022 via Napalm Records. Seit ihrem 1999 veröffentlichten Debütalbum, Wahre Helden, sind die Münchner ein Garant für hochkarätigen und niveauvollen Folk-Rock voller spannender, fesselnder Erzählungen, dargeboten durch genretypische Instrumente wie Dudelsäcke, Drehleier
und Folk-Flöten und gekrönt von der unverwechselbaren Sangeskunst von Vocalist Thomas Lindner. Mit sechs #10 Alben in den deutschen Charts (darunter das #1 Werk Leuchtfeuer, 2016, und zuletzt Artus auf #2, 2019), zwei Nominierungen für den Echo Award, Gold-Status für Traumtänzer (2011) und Unendlich (2014), erfolgreichen Touren und zahlreichen Festivals, wie etwa dem Wave Gotik Treffen, M’era Luna und dem legendären Wacken Open Air, sowie Millionen Streams auf digitalen Plattformen haben SCHANDMAUL sich an die Spitze der Folk Rock Szene vorgearbeitet. 2022 beweisen SCHANDMAUL erneut, dass sie diesen Standpunkt erobert haben, um dort zu verweilen!

Recorded in 1997 in Vienna as part of a workshop named "Greguar" which took place at the University of applied Arts in Vienna, and was produced by the Institute of contemporary Art Vienna. Official re-release!

Sind sie vollkommen aus der Zeit gefallen, mit ihrem aus zerkratzen alten Madness-, 60s-Pop-, A&M-, Northern-Soul-Platten destillierten DIY-Sound? Oder gerade deshalb modern? Schaffen sie nicht gerade aufgrund ihrer Sturheit stets etwas Eigenes, etwas Neues, ja etwas Modernes? Ja, Ja und nochmals Ja! möchte man nach Hören der "Gschichterln aus dem Park Café" ausrufen. "Auf dem schwarzen Kanal" ist eine der herausstechendsten und gesuchtesten Veröffentlichungen in Conrad Schnitzlers umfangreichem Katalog. 1980 als einzige von Schnitzlers Platten bei einem Majorlabel veröffentlicht, war diese Maxi und insbesondere das Titelstück ein Flirt mit dem zeitgleich aufkommenden experimentellen New Wave und klang dennoch so eigenwillig wie keine andere Musik zu jener Zeit. Die zusammen mit Wolfgang Seidel entstandenen und in Peter Baumanns Berliner Paragon Studio aufgenommen vier Tracks sind ein bissiger, dissonante Mutant Disco Trip, der bis heute nichts von seiner Faszination eingebüßt hat. Bureau B freut sich dieses lange vergriffene Werk endlich wieder verfügbar zu machen!

DJ Dem’s new 12”, called I Videre, translates into I See in English. Continuing the sonic explorations of timbre and rhythm, the three tracks that comprise the new EP are an envisioning mix of the artificial and the natural acoustic environment. Streets, ambulances, laughter, air; hints of Berlin techno intertwined with the cymbals of an acoustic drums set and Berlin itself; synthetic and human voices creating mazy soundscapes. A blend of house tempos, techno’s futuristic take on sound synthesis, ambientesque stillness/movement and musique concrète’s intertemporal idea of montage music. Rather than going for the usual tropes of dance music’s canon, the music on the EP folds and unfolds on an axis of her own, giving DJs a multi-purpose sonic twister.

170 bpm halftime dubwise style. Heavy basses, deep subs, breaks and reggae vibes sums up this hard hitting single by Champion Sound called "Warn Dem". With this track the trio makes their debut on the Dub Communication imprint. On remix duties we also welcome Halcyonic and G Roots to the label. Together with horn player Vale they twisted the original to a great remix for the B-side of DUBCOM005V.

The polish dub master Radikal Guru is back to Moonshine Recordings with a heavyweight 12" vinyl on a 160bpm tip. This time he joins forces with two very talented MC's - Parly B and Baptiste to deliver yet another future classic. Tell dem fi run!

I Started Making These Tracks Without Much Of A Plan Of How I Would Want Them To Turn Out, Other Than That I Desired Something To Sound Ethereal, Weightless But Also Palpable. After Looking For Hours Outside Of My Window, Watching The Subtle Movements Of The Elements In The Sky And Listening To The Sounds I Was Making And Letting Them Do Their Own Thing, Things Started To Shape In A Way That Felt Effortless And Natural. The Sounds I Had Created Were Moving On The Vertical And Horizontal Axis In A Micro And A Macro Level, But Also In And Out Of The Depth Axis. Beat Rhythms And Basslines Were Intertwined With A Web Of Never Resting Sound Modulations, Mixed With Sinusoidal Pads, Chimes And Hidden Bird Voices, Creating An Other-sound-wordliness, For An Otherworldly Club Space.

From the remote township of Te Mata, in the rugged hills of New Zealand, comes a new imprint following in the tradition of mid-80s rub-a-dub from an often overlooked corner of dancehall culture.The brainchild of local farmer and radio personality Red Robin - alongside the deadly production duo Naram and Art - the first 12' features two heavy-like-lead riddims with discomix cuts from four unsung heroes of the 80s with conscious, street-level lyrics.
Side A finds legendary singer Winston 'Midnight Riders' Powell rise again on a synth-infused piece of classic rub-a-dub. Despite being his first release in decades, he delivers a cutting edge vocal from his Kingston 9 borough about life Outta Road in the Jamaican capital. He then crosses live to special agent Speng Bond for a deejay report on the current state of Britain in Dread Outta Road. With a more uptempo riddim, the flipside sees Toronto-based 80s star Steve Knight fire some timely shots at corrupt politicians with Dem a Fraud, before Los Angeles-based MC Tippa Lee comes correct with a self-affirming deejay cut on Salute the Veteran.
Both sides are served with one-away dub mixes from Naram and added textural touches from Disrupt. Six cuts on one record, strictly limited pressings.

First time available on 180 grm black 180 grm vinyl 2LP . Revelation is the first album that was fully recorded & produced at Anton's recording studio in Berlin . It is the 14th full length release from the Brian Jonestown Massacre recorded from late 2012 to early 2014. With Anton Newcombe refining the 13 tracks that appear on the album Featuring Ricky Maymi an original member of the band plays on this album. It also features Joachim Alhund (Les Big Byrds) , Constatine Karlis (Dimmer), & Ryan Van Kriedt (Asteroid #4) . Plus vocal performance in Swedish by Joachim Alhund (Les Big Byrds) on the opening track . This album brings the traditional Brian Jonestown Massacre sound mixed with eastern influences & bringing it up to date with the benefit of all the additional weirdness that's been discovered in the past 40 years.
