Introducing the first in a series of reworks on GAMM from Macedonia's finest curator of urban music, DJ Goce...

Deeply rooted in hip-hop, Goce has a worldwide rep for exploring all things funky, soulful, and jazzy, releasing tracks on labels like Dusty Donuts and Baller Beats.

For his GAMM debut, he tackles a classic Beatnuts anthem, complete with a wild intro using the original sample source.
On the B, Goce keeps the momentum going with a rework of an Al Hirt rare groove classic, famously sampled by De La Soul and The Roots.

J Dilla passed away 20 years ago. Metro himself paid tribute to the production master.

"Donutroit" is a meticulously crafted tribute to James Dewitt Yancey. Reinterpretations, reworks, and original compositions – a total of 24 tracks produced by Metro, who pays tribute to the legend with this album. Maciej returns with the album after a somewhat lengthy break, but he does it with a bang. This kind of hip-hop with soul elements has been unheard of in Polish music for a long time. This is the first Polish full-length tribute to Dilla. The guests are few, but they are impressive. Emade himself plays drums on two tracks, and Immortal Onion reworked one of James's iconic recordings.

Actor, comedian, friend of the label, Aziz Ansari (of Parks and Rec fame) has visited Third Man a handful of times, even gracing us with a surprise live set back in 2013.
