YUNGMORPHEUS is a highly innovative rapper that consistently endeavors to redefine the boundaries of originality and elevate the art of lyricism. Since 2020, Prolific LA-based producer and designer Adam Weissman (Real Bad Man) has been on a sensational run releasing albums with Boldy James, Smoke DZA, and Pink Siifu. The Chalice & The Blade will be Real Bad Man’s third album of the year following his remarkable collaborations with Blu (“Bad News”) and Kool Keith (“Serpent”).

The Chalice & The Blade showcases a unique ambiance marked by a stoney and atmospheric quality, interspersed with elements of funk. Real Bad Man explains the album making process, "I always tailor the music to the artist I’m collaborating with. I sent Morpheus a bunch of beats that he’d sound good over and once he started picking them, that set the path. We’d record and I’d make more beats, and move stuff around, get rid of some songs and record new ones. It was a good process. I like being able to adjust as we go, I think that makes for a good album. We left some songs on the cutting room floor. Cream rises."

On The Chalice & The Blade, the seamless synergy between Real Bad Man and YUNGMORPHEUS takes center stage, showcasing an extraordinary chemistry that elevates every track to new heights of musical innovation.

Brooklyn-based techno experimentalist and filmmaker Michelle Roginsky (aka mother) joins Delusional Records with her first-ever musical offering, a cinematic concept EP that weaves medical anxieties into a thematic tapestry of arresting club sonics.

In A Simple Procedure, Roginsky evokes the bleak and euphoric duality of femme embodiment; the soundtrack to an unreleased body horror film narrated by ethereal ambience and driving dancefloor grooves. The title track begins with sweeping, densely-textured synths disintegrating into a foreboding bassline, humming steadily alongside tidal waves of ominous arpeggios and plodding drums reminiscent of 90s trip-hop. In Sublingual, body-shaking club drums become a vessel for distorted vocals and granulated textures as they pass through thick membranes of saliva-drenched bass. Metamorpher follows with a hypnotic 4x4 trip that metabolizes deep anxious grooves into a rave-ready wiggler, while Angel Gossip keeps the blood flowing with a pounding peak-time techno roller guaranteed to keep the floor locked. Finally, There Are Two Rooms sends us off with a pensive meditation of wailing synths and dark, Lynchian atmosphere... the final scene of a dream half-remembered upon waking from anaesthesia.

NYC's Laenz delivers the epilogue with a shaking, subterranean remix of A Simple Procedure, injecting the opening track's textures into the fissures of deep and trembling grooves.

After a critically acclaimed trilogy of albums and a 10-year hiatus, Romain Turzi, the underground pope of uncompromising French music, returns to the helm to compose and produce his new opus “Drop!”. LA-based producer Real Bad Man and LA musician Genevieve Artadi announce their new collaborative album Everything Is Under Control, out October 3rd via the producer’s own Real Bad Man Records. Alongside the announcement, the duo are sharing two new singles from the forthcoming album, “Don’t Gotta Think About U” and “Little Claws”. The former is an electro pop banger that propels Artadi’s intoxicating vocals to the forefront and arrives with an accompanying visual. With Everything Is Under Control, Real Bad Man is proving his versatility as a producer, crafting intricate and lively electronic-forward foundations for an old friend in Genevieve to explore an eclectic, funky approach to her vocals.

Speaking about the single, Artadi says, "'Don’t Gotta Think About U' is about a person celebrating the explosion of her most recent unhealthy romantic relationship. Her spitefulness and delusion of freedom indicate she’s still inside the pattern she hasn’t yet realized she keeps signing herself up for. The sound is melancholic pop, the thread that has always tied Adam and me together despite our musical differences."

"I love juxtaposing dense drums and a very pretty voice," Real Bad Man says of collaborating with Artadi. "That’s what 'Don’t Wanna Think About U' is. We’re also trying to make something catchy at the same time, that’s what I’ve always been drawn to musically is blending genres and moods and get them to work together. As well as pulling Genevieve away from what she does with Knower and her solo stuff.

Real Bad Man’s collaboration with Artadi is a radical shift in approach for the producer, whose previous full-length projects this year were rooted in the distinct strain of underground hip-hop that he’s amassed an extensive catalog in. Everything Is Under Control marks an entirely different, and unpredictable, sonic approach for the duo, embracing experimentation and synth-led electronica that’s reminiscent of Artadi’s work as part with Pollyn (her former band with Adam/Real Bad Man) as well as current duo KNOWER with Louis Cole. Real Bad Man’s latest project extends his prolific run of collaborations this year, embarking in a new genre and sound entirely after releasing full-length projects with ZelooperZ (Dear Psilocybin), Boldly James (Conversational Pieces) and Willie The Kid (Midnight) in the first half of 2025.

Known for her complex, yet playful writing style, Genevieve Artadi has made a name for herself through four solo albums that stretch the gambit of jazz, dream pop and dance music. The last three albums were released on iconic label Brainfeeder Records and the fourth (Another Leaf) was made as part of her being a composer-in-residence with Sweden’s Norrbotten Big Band. She’s also been an accomplished collaborator with her bands Expensive Magnets, Pollyn and KNOWER, and performing and recording with the likes of Thundercat and Snarky Puppy.

In the spring of 1971, somewhere between Brussels, Paris and a collective pop fever dream, Le Monde Fabuleux Des Yamasuki landed on vinyl. It sounded like nothing else then and it still does not today. More than half a century later, Sdban Records proudly presents a reissue of this singular cult album, available from April 3, 2026 on vinyl.

The album was produced by Jean Kluger and written both by Jean and Daniel Vangarde (aka Bangalter, later the father of Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk), who were alreadywell ahead of their time, long before electronic music rewrote the rules of pop culture.

Released under the name Yamasuki, also referred to as The Yamasuki Singers, or The Yamasuki's, the project was never intended as a conventional band. It was a studio-born fantasy, a concept album disguised as a pop record. What began as a standalone single quickly expanded into a full-blown pan-cultural pop opera that ignored genres and common sense with joyful abandon.

Musically, the album sits at a delirious crossroads. Psychedelic pop collides with funk rhythms, samba and bubblegum melodies, full of chants and choruses in a phonetic pseudo-Japanese, written with the help of a dictionary. Kluger and Vangarde famously recruited a children's choir to perform the vocals, and for added spectacle, they brought in a Japanese judo grandmaster, whose ritualistic shouts and battle cries erupt throughout the record.

Several singles were released. One of them, Yamasuki, with accompanying dance move, appeared in the United Kingdom and France on John Peel's Dandelion label, a fitting home for a record that thrived on the margins of pop culture. Its B-side, Aieaoa, proved even more potent. In 1975, the song was reborn as A.I.E. (A Mwana) by Black Blood, an African group recording in Belgium, this time sung in Swahili. That melody would travel even further. Aie a Mwana became the debut single of English pop group Bananarama, and in 2010 it resurfaced once more as Helele, an official song of the FIFA World Cup, recorded by South African singer Velile Mchunu with Danish percussion duo Safri Duo. That version became the most widely known incarnation of the song. With Jean Kluger directly involved, it was less a cover than a continuation of the original idea.

The album's afterlife did not stop there. Over the years, Yamasuki has been quietly sampled, covered, and featured across media far beyond the realm of novelty pop. Kono Samourai was sampled in The Healer by Erykah Badu (2007), produced by Madlib, while Yama Yama has found its way into recent pop culture as well: appearing in the television series Fargo, on Angus Stone's project Dope Lemon, and on the 2008 Late Night Tales compilation curated by Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. Proof, if any were needed, that this strange little record carries a deeper musical DNA than its playful exterior might suggest.

This new reissue of Le Monde Fabuleux Des Yamasuki proves the renewed interest and respect for this cult album, faithful to the original spirit while finally giving it back the physical presence it deserves. In an era obsessed with genres and algorithmic neatness, Yamasuki still laughs, dances and karate-kicks its way past definitions. It reminds us that pop music can be playful without being disposable, strange without being cynical and joyfulwithout explanation. The world of Yamasuki was always fabulous, we are just lucky it found its way back to us!

Joined by a carefully selected group of collaborators, including American producer Kareem Ali (praised by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Boiler Room), pop/R&B soul singer Nic Hanson, and Lithuanian producer and musician Cyan Lu, Tour-Maubourg blurs the lines between jazz and house. Escola Records is very proud to present a refreshing reinterpretation of Uptown Funk Empire’s 2009 cover of Pharoah Sanders’ You’ve Got to Have Freedom. The release features four dancefloor-oriented versions crafted by legendary French DJ and producer Greg Gauthier, alongside talented musician, DJ, and producer Lucas Moinet (half of Groove Boys Project and Keraw). The A-side delivers the smooth and mellow “937” Vocal and Dub versions, where Greg and Lucas offer two uplifting, soul-infused reworks in a groove- heavy ride full of organic grooves and a beautiful xylophone solo, creating the perfect space/beat for some of the most hopeful vocals we could ever dream of. The B-side completes the package with the “Dance Culture” remixes, paying tribute to the legendary party Greg launched over 20 years ago at Paris’ iconic house music mecca, the Djoon club.

Bruno Silva, operating here under his restless Serpente alias, returns with Visita do Fogo — a sharp, stripped-back and incendiary counterpoint to the drifting, dream-jazz abstractions of Dias da Aranha. If that record floated like smoke, this one crackles and snaps like dry wood.

Visita do Fogo finds Silva stepping back into the heat of his beat-driven origins, embracing a raw, forward-leaning approach that feels closer to his live detonation than a studio construction. The record is built on stark materials — drum fragments, percussive jolts, scorched-earth loops — all manipulated with his unmistakable “screw” instincts: micro-cuts, sudden pivots, rhythmic false floors and the sense that the track might turn itself inside-out at any moment.
Rather than smoothing edges or leaning into atmospherics, Serpente doubles down on urgency. Each piece moves through the record with a chop-and-go physicality, a kind of ritual propulsion that never settles into comfort. Silva’s rhythmic language remains entirely his own: crooked but precise, feral yet meticulous, rooted in dance structures but constantly mutating away from them.

Visita do Fogo is less a sequel to Dias da Aranha than a flare shot into the same night sky — brighter, hotter, and designed to leave afterimages. It captures an artist burning forward, shedding everything unnecessary, trusting the flame.

Schmitz is a cool guy. He dreams of meeting the ruler of the universe. One day, his dream comes true: he meets the electro goddess Irma. The compilation is a kind of audiobook in 13 acts, danceable and cool, fast and loud, an homage to all space cats. The LP comes with a booklet introducing the bands and telling the story.

JeGong, known for their immersive, rhythm-driven explorations of Krautrock and experimental sound design, now take an exhilarating leap into brighter, nostalgically stranger territory. `Gomi Kuzu Can` is an electrifying journey through Kraut, Post- and Experimental Rock, delivered with the analog warmth of the '70s. Across eleven meticulously crafted tracks, JeGong embrace their roots while fearlessly expanding into neon-lit, beat-driven worlds where kinetic rhythms meet playful sonic futurism. It is music built for movement, contemplation, and the ecstatic strangeness of possibility. Their approach borrows the endurance and patience of minimalism, but they subvert minimalism's austerity with grit, distortion, and physicality. The Bluebells rose to fame in the 1980s as jangle-pop pioneers of the Sound of Young Scotland era with their three hits Young at Heart, Cath and I'm Falling.

Despite only releasing one readily-available album during their initial run (Sisters, 1984) the band have remained as one of Scotland's most beloved bands, currently boasting over 144,000 monthly Spotify listeners. The band enjoyed a post-breakup revival in 1993 after a Volkswagen advert featured Young at Heart, pushing the single to No.1 for 4 weeks. They have since reunited over the years, to play various festival slots and develop new material. In 2023, the band released The Bluebells In The 21st Century, their first LP in decades. In 2025, The Bluebells played Glastonbury.

After years of meticulous overdubbing and sonic layering, Marter (Bass) & Yony (Drums) have finally completed their masterpiece. Originally licensed to Bill Laswell’s label for digital release, this warm, lo-fi journey is finally available in its truest form. Recorded on 4-track and 8-track tape before meeting ProTools, every frequency breathes with analog soul.

Consuming you in one swoop, through 10 tracks of poetic electronic-pop odyssey’s, Evadney’s sensational voice acts as the guiding force, weaving between piano, strings, harp, driving electronic elements, and almost beatless moody textures.

The subjects of sexuality, love, family and a yearning for the divine are played out across this cinematic piece of work. “I’m asking myself and everyone to consider; Where is your love? What does it mean for you? What are your boundaries around it and why?” - Evadney.  On ‘Plie’ Evadney’s vivid storytelling flows effortlessly in a surreal conversation with an angel who teaches him how to dance. ‘Qualia’’ is a harp laden ode to his parents and their enslaved ancestors, whilst ‘Leathered & Laced’ and ‘Good Lord’ are devastatingly beautiful and honest stories of Evadney pulling himself out of his darkest moments of lost direction and substance abuse.

Driveline Records launches its catalog with a focused four-track vinyl EP built for the dancefloor, presenting four distinct yet cohesive techno cuts driven by groove, atmosphere and functionality.

The A-side opens with Invexis - "Roots", a hypnotic builder that slowly unfolds into a funky-driven rhythm. Tight hi-hats and rolling basslines carry the track forward, culminating in a subtle yet engaging melodic progression that lifts the energy without losing tension.

Next, Pylot - "Observation" delivers a highly functional club tool based on steady loops and an aquatic sound design. Aggressive low-end and raw basslines support an atmospheric and hypnotic flow, making it a solid choice for mid-set pressure and long blends.

On the B-side, Berlin-based duo Disguised contribute "Gitty (Dub Mix)", a dub-influenced and dreamy track designed to keep the dancefloor moving while creating a floating, immersive mood. Deep grooves and spacey textures balance rhythm and emotion.

Closing the EP, Shadow Hrym - "Delia" explores more melancholic territory, combining tribal and funky rhythms with emotive soundscapes, offering a powerful and memorable ending to the record.

Aufbauend auf seinen eigenen Erfahrungen bei Hardcore-Shows und Straßenauftritten treibt Joel DREAM_MEGA in einen antipodalen Zustand, in dem Hyperbewusstsein und befreiende Transzendenz koexistieren. Die Songs auf ,Control / You Are Not the Center" starren unerschrocken auf unsere dumme, gefährliche Welt, ähnlich wie es ein Song von Dropdead tun würde, aber gleichzeitig heben sie die Last dieser Katastrophe und drängen auf eine luftige Atempause. Ein Teil davon ist Joels kompositorischer Ansatz, bei dem er alte Holzblasinstrumente gegen digitale Synthesizer setzt und unnatürliche Schaltkreise mit menschlichem Atem kreuzt. Aber im Kern geht es um Joels dringendes Bedürfnis, mitten in der Nacht seine Angst und Traurigkeit und die Funken der Hoffnung anzusprechen und sie in etwas zu verwandeln, das sein Herz trotz allem weiter schlagen lässt. Es ist ein Akt der Klarheit und Selbsterhaltung, der so geschickt inszeniert ist, dass jeder Zuhörer die Dämonen spüren kann, die in seinem eigenen Herzen wirken. ,Control / You are Not The Center" enthält Klangbeiträge von Ryan Weinstein (Coffi n Prick), Cordey Lopez und Lisa Anne Auerbach.
