This EP showcases a wider style than previous Myriadd EPs, and the tracks here are a mixture of dancefloor focused tracks and the more etherial, emotive style that listeners associate with this artist. Astral Journeys is a building dancefloor track that combines deep bass and a bubbling acid line to maximum effect. A second acid track, Excursions, combines solid 909 beats, a bubbling Washing Machine style synth line and a sailing acid line. Title track, Oceans, and City Of Quartz are more Detroit influenced, with a more icy atmosphere than the other tracks, perhaps recalling early UK bleep techno tracks. Cosmos is classic Myriadd style, combining cosmic string solos and Chicago style percussive stabs over a solid bassline.

The 4th release on Dark Circles DC Trax imprint focuses on 4 varied reinterpretations by artists who are currently inspiring the London duo. Starting with a blistering acid workout of cans from Tokyo's Shun. Vin Sol completes the A side with a trippy electro journey. Body Hammer's Scott Fraser takes Torpor on a peaktime techno journey. Jackie House concludes the package with a 1992 sub bass breakbeat rehash of Papoose. Released on vinyl at the end of october with no current plans for a digital release.

Named after my mother who got me started in all this, Bernadette Trax is my personal label, a vehicle for my music and a labour of love, specifically my love for deep underground house music of all kinds. The culmination of 30 years of influences, clubbing and too many late nights, this EP features my wonderfully talented friend and vocalist Anna Krestense Gantelius Glahn. 'Jump Trax' is another essential piece of early Chicago house music crafted by the legendary Duane Thamm JR back in 1984. Fusing together a myriad of influences including early 80's Euro pop, Italo Disco and HI NRG, Thamm JR was responsible for helping create and influence the burgeoning House sound that would emanate from the city all throughout the second half of the 1980's. Not only were these sounds new and fresh, they were experimental too, 'Jump Trax' sees the BPM's gradually shift throughout the duration of the tracks seamlessly giving the more adventurous DJ's out there more ammunition and room to experiment with styles and BPM's. A truly visionary approach to production and all recorded and mixed within Chicago's city limits by Thamm JR at his Reel To Reel Studio located in Villa Park, Illinois. 'Jump Trax' continues to be as influential today as it was back in '84, with many top DJ's still citing the record as a 'go to', powerful indeed.

DJ Dan has been a pinnacle of the dance music scene in America since the early 90s and has toured around the world with the likes of Carl Cox, DJ Sneak and Pete Tong to name a few. Dan's label imprint InStereo is played by many top DJs around the world and Dan has chosen some of his strongest releases for Vol. 2 of the Slammin Trax series.

Tivoli Trax started as a Multiplex series paying tribute to local artists connected to Kong's Mantra night club, while it was based in Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens. The first 1996 EP was followed in '97 by Vol. 2 and finally by a 12 track CD compilation in '98. In 2018 we are bringing back this iconic tribute to amazing Copenhagen based producers with Tivoli Trax vol. 3!

To bridge the twenty years gap, the first track is an original Hüebsch Originators production from '98. This deep techno track was released on the Tivoli Trax CD, and we are delighted to finally be able to present it on wax. The duo also released the Evanouir EP on Multiplex in '97. Secondly we have the beautiful Bodies by Vassdrag, a Norwegian word for a river system and the Multiplex alias of a well-known Copenhagen producer, who's been releasing on a quintessential techno imprint since 2010.
B From E aka. Frej Levin, a rising star on the Danish scene and known for releases on Copenhagen Underground Posse and Tartelet Records, delivers classic, atmospheric, deep house in the form of No Memory. The last track is Nightwave by Dennis Uprock, better known as dub-techno producer Resoe of Baum Records, Echocord and Pattern Repeat. A prolific producer of multiple genres. He has used his Uprock moniker when playing house music since the mid-90s.

You know when the dj drops something so special you're mentally forced to ask for the track and the reply you get is 'its my own unreleased track'. That's how I (Art Alfie) stumbled upon all three of these. About ten years ago I witnessed Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid (Peder Mannerfelt) turn Berghain upside-down with the dark techno epos 'Mars Attacks'. Around the same time I had the luck to see Nils Westerlund boogle minds with the broken beat psychedelics of 'Suspiria' at a Stockholm Open Air. Last but not least, a couple of years ago I heard 'Thicker Than Blood' for the first time, like the Sirens in greek mythology, it lured people on to the dance floor at Stockholms classic summer hot spot F12. I've been playing these tracks ever since and Im beyond happy I get to share them with the world at this point. //Art Alfie

The third release on the sister label, NEW YORK TRAX Imports, comes from the legendary Dutch producer and founder of one of the most eclectic underground record labels, Vincent Koreman aka Drvg Cvltvre of New York Haunted. Since 2009, Drvg Cvltvre has been working on his own blend of dystopian acid, no wave, and experimental house. Respected in the international underground for his groundbreaking work in experimental techno as RA-X in the 90's on labels like Bunker and KK Records, Drvg Cvltvre comes from a DIY punk background and opts for hard work rather than hollow pose. The 4-track EP for NEW YORK TRAX Imports is an accurate representation of his style: dark and melancholic, but also uncompromisingly intense.

Stash 01 is the debut release of Stash Trax, a brand new imprint based in France. The label focuses on deep and groovy visions of house music produced exclusively on wax. Optimo Trax reaches no. 33, the final number in the series (although reserving the right to return at some point). The last release is a 3 track EP from Montreal's Solitary Dancer that ends the label's run with a distinctly non 4/4 feel. We asked Solitary Dancer to say a few words about this EP to which they responded with - "Recordings inspired by archetypes existing within a hypothetical matriarchal society and how that may pertain to our present day reality.'

Mirror Trax proudly presents it's first release: the Esox Lucius EP by Esox Lucius! Born in the late 90's, Esox Lucius seems to have soaked up his environment quickly. Old school flavour transmitted to the depths where Esox Lucius roams seems to be the recipe for elementary and spaced-out techno. Nimbus on the A side is a classic techno track reminiscent of the X-Mix days! It's soothing melody and driving bass will propel you towards the clouds, cruise-missile style. On the B side, the first track Indica is a high-speed techno train. Driven by it's resonant lead and shifting snares, B1 will definitely leave you as high and disoriented as the name implies. Common thread on the B side seems to be a Hague-ish influence, as the closing track is a heavy grinding techno track with a hint of electro. B2 will definitely sink your ship so make sure The Hoff is around!

Mandala Trax aka Shingo Suwa and DJ Mori is releasing a first EP on Merkur Schallplatten.
Shingo has established the Label in 2008.
DJ Mori is working as resident DJ at suicide circus Berlin.
They often performed at many clubs in the city.
Their first collaboration includes two different versions of rave influenced techno remixes by Anna Bolena.
Anna is Music producer, Promoter and Video maker, she is an underground activist since the 80`s.
She runs the label Idroscalo Dischi since 1999 and since 2005 the Video Production Company Idroscalo Digitale.
They both are working as resident for Button's party at ://about blank.
A1, their very first track, is called 11pm. The main solid synth line features deep kick drums surrounded by dubby industrial effects in the background.
On A2 we find a heavy bottom groove, surrounded by echoes in a dark atmosphere. Hand claps and white noises are driving any techno floor.
The B Side includes two different version by Anna Bolena. She produced some 90's rave structures affected by her experimental senses.
