After several years of existence Rite Of Passage have naturally progressed into the launch of their vinyl label. Based between Rotterdam & Slovenia the label called on four intriguing characters to assist with the soundtrack of RoP01, "I Want To Shower With Your Emotions". A nod to the Dutch underground as the VA features DJ Tjizza, new kids on the block Young Adults, Nathan Homan and the sought after Eversines.
Huge Detroit re-issue from Emotions Electric! Motion EP was originally released on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label back in 1991, and is considered one of the milestones in techno history. Girl group greatness, courtesy of the Chicago-based Hutchinson Sisters (with Theresa Davis on this record) and co-producers Isaac Hayes, David Porter and Ronnie Williams! Recording at Muscle Shoals and Stax studios seems to have added a little grit to The Emotions' sound, too; this 1971 classic on the Volt label offers the perfect blend of sweet and sassy. ''Show Me How'' was the hit, but it's ''Blind Alley'' that made Untouched one of the most collectible albums of its kind: that track's one of the most sampled in all of pop and hip hop, most notably by Big Daddy Kane (''Ain't No Half-Steppin''') and Mariah Carey (''Dreamlover''). Pressed in black and clearwater blue vinyl editions, and cut ALL-ANALOG from the original two-track master!

Die isländische Band KALEO kündigt ihr drittes Studioalbum "Mixed Emotions" für den 9. Mai bei Atlantic Records an. Das Album, produziert von Eddie Spear und mitkoproduziert von JJ Julius Son und Shawn Everett, verspricht eine Mischung aus energiegeladenen und tiefgründigen musikalischen Elementen. Die neue Single "Back Door" ist bereits erhältlich.
"Mixed Emotions" thematisiert persönliche und gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen und spiegelt die emotionalen Höhen und Tiefen des Lebens wider. JJ Julius Son beschreibt das Album als vielfältig und für jeden Geschmack etwas bietend. Die Aufnahmen begannen im März 2023 in Nashville und wurden zwischen Tourneen fortgesetzt.

For the first time we are welcoming Molen to the label. The man is a true gem from the exquisite country Uruguay and has produced four unique cuts specially for the hub of Exarde. Each track shows vast and profound level of skill of the artist and are guaranteed to make the sound systems shake from inside to the outside. The emotions are plastic and have been captured bit by bit on this 12” vinyl disc for our sonic pleasure. Molen has been a close friend of the label for quite long time so it is a true honour to welcome him with a full EP which oozes the dark flavour that is so close and warming to the labels sound&vision. Having said all that, I think it is time to indulge into “Plastic Emotions” and give these four audio trips a spin they truly deserve.

'Thoughts And Emotions' is a labor of love, where Nye masterfully explores and curates a rich collection of sounds, all bearing his distinct signature. Across twelve tracks, the listener is treated to an exceptional journey that encompasses bubbling electronica, down-tempo jazzy flourishes, and cosmic string-laden soundscapes. Darren’s socially conscious titles also add an extra layer of meaning to the listener's experience, creating a soothing and moving soundtrack that speaks to the soul.
Interactive View Of Emotions presents you with a new project called Unknown Resources. While searching the roots of The Unknown Resources’ influences it became apparent that there is a diverse but short bridge from KrautRock to the early 2000’ of Minimal Tech, the innovative grounds that are covered within IVOE003, the “Marching Machine” EP.
Inspired by artists such as the legendary Kraftwerk to the Tech-house producer Ulysses and the Post-Krautrock band Fujiya and Miyagi, The Unknown Resources delivers a new interpretation in between the borders of these different eras in the music industry, blurring the lines between the distinctive genres.
