This joint production by MAJOR FORCE PRODUCTIONS-comprised of K.U.D.O and Kan Takagi, two key figures who have helped shape Japan’s music scene-and the internationally acclaimed DJ KRUSH results in a single that vividly captures everyday scenes and the deeper layers of human emotion through diverse beats and floating electronic textures.

Conceived as a sequel to Kan Takagi’s 1997 release “LOVE THEME,” the track unfolds with a memorable melody expressing a sincere longing for love and freedom. Refined yet warm, it stands as a timeless piece of electric folk blues.

For this 7-inch edition, the track has been given a single edit, making it a special and essential release.

Astrocyrk (Astrocircus) is the next chapter in a story that began in 2123, when Captain Harrison Focus, after an emergency landing, finds himself on the mysterious planet Carmin. Following the events described in the previous album, the main character – Triceradiplodocus – leaves the planet's surface, following Ropuch’s instructions. However, the light on the horizon turns out to be the beginning of a new nightmare, and the dinosaur is trapped in the Astrocyrk. Under Klown’s guidance, he begins exploring this dark place. Only the finale reveals the true history of the Astrocyrk and
surprisingly intertwines Triceradiplodocus's fate with events from years past and the character of Captain Harrison Focus.

Musically, the album develops Twoosty Mayonez's distinctive style – one that focuses on improvisation and cinematic storytelling. Each composition represents a new chapter in the story, creating a cohesive musical journey through the world of Astrocyrk. Subsequent tracks lead the listener through the ship's dark attractions.

The new album is a natural continuation of the story from planet Carmin, while also opening a completely new chapter in the Twoosty Mayonnaise universe – one that is bigger, darker, and even more unpredictable.
The album features guest appearances by Szymon Białorucki (oud), Marek Konarski (sax), and Bartłomiej “Eskaubei” Skubisz (rap). The recordings were made at the Twoosty Room studio in Warsaw by the band's drummer.

Violeta García & Hora Lunga return with 4ever, their second album and the follow-up to I’ll Wait For You In The Car Park. Released in 2025 on -ous, their debut received airplay on BBC and NTS and was selected for Bandcamp’s Best Experimental Music year-end list. 4ever picks up where that record left off: in ordinary moments, small scenes and the strange emotional weight of being somewhere between places. But here, these moments are stretched across a much larger, darker screen. A night flight, a terminal, a bad connection. When too many feelings are carried from one place to another, everyday situations begin to feel epic, empty, or apocalyptic.

Built from García’s cello and Hora Lunga’s synths, samples and field recordings, the album pushes further into emotion, letting fragile melodies, orchestral cello gestures, heavy low-end and compressed noise melt into something both dystopian and strangely familiar. Its warmth is not meant to be an escape from this world, but something that appears within it. Acoustically, the album lives through the closeness of the materials, the way sounds stay with each other, and in the feeling that even the most unstable moments are being carried together. The album presents itself in scenes that fade into each other: quiet melodic fragments that are interrupted and restarted, unpredictable changes of direction, held together by an inevitable melody, a bright synth harmony unfolding into an almost orchestral cello arrangement. Later, a broken organ-like sample turning in circles, cello melodies appearing as if they were trying to remember a song that never belonged to one voice alone. An endless loop that is placed under changing lights, briefly opening into emotional chords, then slipping back into emptiness.

It is this instability that Violeta García and Hora Lunga place at the center of their collaboration. They do not decorate the cello with production, or place electronics around an acoustic centre. They explain: “On 4ever, we become part of the same unstable surface. What holds the record together is not resolution, but the trust in staying together as things distort, overload, disappear and return.”

Violeta García, an Argentinian cellist known for her solo work and for her role in the punk band Blanco Teta, brings the instrument close to the body, as melody, pressure, texture, noise and sudden emotional weight. García has brought her distinct musical voice to KEXP, Rewire, Le Guess Who?, Bad Bonn Kilbi, Silent Green, TransMusicales, Roskilde and more.

Hora Lunga, a Zurich-based producer and composer working across unstable song forms, treats electronics less as a frame than as a weather system: something that can hold a scene together, distort it or make it disappear. In recent years, his compositions have ranged from experimental song forms, sound performances, ensemble compositions and film music. His ensemble WIRREN consists of up to fifteen performers.

For our Sophomore release, Solar Suite steps up with Back 2 Basics, four groove-led productions that favour restraint and subtlety. Stripping things back to the essentials with patiently crafted rhythms and basslines that could just keep on chugging. Club trax with one eye on the classics and the other fixed firmly forward.

Wisconsin house music legends Solid Gold Playaz return with Minds Beneath Atlantis EP, a timeless deep house gem first released in 2003 on Silver Network before receiving a sought-after reissue from Still Music in 2017. Long out of print and highly coveted by collectors, copies have regularly fetched upwards of £50 on the second-hand market. Thankfully, Still Music have answered the call with a welcome repress, making this essential release available once again for DJs, collectors, and deep house enthusiasts who missed out the first time around.

ValoVariou has become an established label, known for always bringing together a medley of talented artists of old and new. The third edition is spread across four underground cuts, slick minimal sounds, fused with a spaced out edge, creating a distinct synergy throughout the release. Behind the buttons is Twan Mulder, Harry Robson, Orbit and Dutch duo, MASI. Chemistry in curation as this sets up to be a soundtrack of the Autumn months!

Sciahri and Sublunar are proud to introduce the German duo Disguised and their new EP, Carcosa. Founders of INHERIT and fresh from the success of their recent release on Mutual Rytm, Disguised make their Sublunar debut with a seven-track journey that effortlessly bridges modern and classic techno, combining powerful club energy with a refined and deeply personal approach to sound. While producing the EP and shaping its titles, Disguised drew strong inspiration from the legendary and unforgettable first season of True Detective. The record opens with “Rust Never Sleeps”, a memorable and powerful cut built around an instantly recognizable melody, before moving into “Carcosa”, a tense and explosive track designed around constant anticipation and release. On the B-side, “Time Is A Flat Circle” delivers a highly infectious groove through captivating textures and subtle details, followed by “The Taxman”, where raw energy meets a sophisticated and carefully crafted production. Release description Chesster lands on Rutilance Recordings with a four-track EP rooted in classic deep house. Blending old-school influences with a modern touch, the project captures the essence of his sound: groove-led, warm, and true to its foundations. Originally from Italy and now based in Los Angeles, Chesster has been building strong momentum across the global house scene, with a run of standout releases and defining moments over the past year. This EP marks an important step in that journey - not only as his first on the label, but also as a more personal statement. After a run of highenergy, peak-time records, the project sees him step into a deeper, more refined lane. The EP also features a special contribution from Rutilance boss DJ Steaw, adding an extra layer of character and tying it closely to the label’s identity.

'La Proyección' is the debut LP by Jose María Lluch, featuring 11 compositions developed between 2015 and 2024. Recorded and assembled in his home studio, the album combines fingerpicked guitar, field recordings, tape manipulation, and ethereal soundscapes into a deeply personal listening experience. A reflection on memory, imperfection, and the freedom to create without external expectations. 'La Proyección', the debut LP by Jose María Lluch, an architect and musician from San Sebastián, emerges as a transition-a gradual shift that unfolded over time. Intimate and innocent, disconnected and erratic at times, the 11 compositions presented here are drawn from recordings spanning nine years, between 2015 and 2024. "Solaris", das zwölfte Studioalbum von The Ocean, würdigt die bisherige Entwicklung der Band und verleiht ihr eine neue, intensive Note. Mit Mitgliedern aus sechs verschiedenen Ländern im Kern-Line-up kehrt The Ocean zu einer kollektiven Besetzung zurück und schöpft aus dem Erfahrungsschatz und Talent eines Pools außergewöhnlicher Musiker. Nachdem man mit dem Vorgängeralbum "Holocene" einen anderen Weg eingeschlagen hatte, zeichnet für den weitläufigen, organischen Klang von "Solaris" erneut der schwedische Produzent Jens Bogren verantwortlich, der bereits die beliebtesten Alben der Band - "Pelagial" sowie "Phanerozoic I" & "II" - gemischt hat. Das neue Album stellt die Sänger*innen Lane Shi und Enrico Tiberi sowie die Gitarristen Emmanuel Jessua und Marco Gennaro vor. Sie ergänzen den Gründungs-Gitarristen Robin Staps, den langjährigen Bassisten Mattias Hägerstrand und Schlagzeuger Jordi Farré. Da der neue Sänger Tiberi zudem ein versierter Pianist und Multiinstrumentalist ist, wurden Klänge von Celesta, Flügel, Rhodes-Piano und Hammond-Orgel zu einem integralen und unverwechselbaren Bestandteil des Solaris-Sounds. Following on from the highly anticipated Rebirth 20 anniversary project, Rebirth return with the first of two limited-edition bonus 12"s, digging deeper into the label’s catalogue with four killer remixes and previously overlooked gems.

Kicking things off with Leon Feat. Corrina Joseph – I Follow You (Darryl Baalki Remix), a soulful and deeply grooving house cut with Corrina Joseph’s beautiful vocals riding over a warm, hypnotic groove. Darryl Baalki adds his signature touch, making this one a serious late-night house weapon.

Next up is Gianluca Pegoiani Feat. Ann Saunderson – Numero 5 (Rough Ride) (Nick Holder Trackheadz Remix). Nick Holder’s Trackheadz take the original into deeper territory, delivering a classy, rolling slice of deep house with that unmistakable Detroit/Chicago-inspired feel.

On the flip we have Mata Jones & Mikey V – Funky (Elado Remix), bringing a more energetic and playful edge to proceedings with a seriously infectious groove, chunky drums and plenty of dancefloor funk.

Finishing off the EP is Psycho Radio Vs LC Anderson – Bad Reputation (Red Axes Remix). Red Axes work their magic on this one, twisting it into a dark, psychedelic indie-dance workout packed with attitude and hypnotic momentum.

The A side, "In Light," starts with a pulsing kick, bright chords, and shakers, with a string line that slowly builds towards a soaring conjunction with the massive bassline that drops underneath. Filled with bittersweet emotion, this collaboration represents a beacon of light, like the golden hour after sunrise.
On the B side, "In Darkness," gnarly bass textures come to the fore as a harbinger of the dark, turbulent night, dropping into a massive twisted groove. Shakers, tribal percussion, and pulsing sub-bass keep things in a tight rhythm, while Esteban’s strings arrive to guide us through the darkness to dawn.

Agents Of Time return to Afterlife with two heartrending audio expeditions.

Italian act Agents Of Time have established a sterling reputation over the years. Their mesmerising approach to club music blends emotive melodies and transcendent rhythms, with dance floor-centred beats.

The Mirage EP begins with its title cut; enveloping the listener is a swathe of atmospheric synth and pad work from the off. Oscillating frequencies complement the sultry rhythms while a life-affirming riff forms the stirring centrepiece. On the flip ‘Northern Lights’ is a sensitive, emotive composition which gradually increases its emotional impact as it builds and evolves.

Following his recent appearance on Blueprint, Mark Broom returns to the label with a unique project, revisiting the work of techno pioneer Regis. Entitled "Power Is Neutral", the release sees Broom rework a selection of seminal Regis recordings originally released on Downwards Records across the albums Gymnastics (1996), Delivered Into The Hands Of Indifference (1998) and Penetration (2001).

Known as one of the key architects of the Birmingham techno sound, Regis (Karl O'Connor) helped shape British techno through his work as co-founder of Downwards Records and a catalogue that continues to influence generations of artists.

Drawing on source material that has long stood as a cornerstone of UK techno, Broom approaches these edits with both respect and imagination. As Regis puts it, "Mark Broom is like some modern day Bagpuss... he has fired up his techno mouseorgan and polished old relics to make them all shiny and new."

Power Is Neutral delivers six expertly crafted reinterpretations that bridge the raw energy of Regis' original works with Broom's unmistakable contemporary dancefloor sensibility, bringing these timeless tracks to a new generation of listeners.

For its third release, Ambient Sans turns to one of the most quietly beloved works in Japanese ambient music.

Recorded at Biwa Studio in 1989, White Morning is the work of Fumio Miyashita — composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist whose output through the late 1980s and early 1990s occupies a singular space between healing music, environmental sound, and meditative ambient. Where his contemporaries were mapping the exterior world, Miyashita turned inward: his music was designed for the body as much as the ear, conceived explicitly for rest, focus, and presence.

White Morning distills that vision into its purest form. Two extended pieces — 目覚め (See The Light) and 朝の祈り (Morning Prayer) — built from soft synthesizer layers, delicate acoustic textures, and a stillness that feels less composed than discovered. Originally released on CD in 1991 and circulated quietly ever since among devotees of kankyo ongaku and Japanese new age, White Morning has never appeared on vinyl — until now. Following up, 'Waterfall' introduces bleepy modular sequences and chopped vocal fragments, with a sweeping drone synth cutting through the mix above the track's rolling bass. On the flip side, 'Silent Tension' continues deeper into minimal territory, combining crisp clap fills, subtle vocal chops and delayed chord repetitions into a slow burning groove. Stylistically the record absorbs the full range of K-LONE’s key musical touchstones - from swinging minimal house through to autonomic d’n’b and drifting ambient techno. Many of his established calling cards are on display here: his bright resounding chords, buoyant basslines, and fragmented vocal hooks. The record is full of joy and rapture, yet something feels off. Canine Cracks is the new artistic project of Benedetta and Romain Play (aka Camion Bazar). Known as DJs, event organizers, producers, and vinyl collectors, they're now returning to their roots and their first love: rock, post-punk, and massive mosh pits, instruments plus drum machines, and intense live performances. Everything is created in their own studio, located in the French countryside, where they retreat to escape the mad world. These two friends are animal rights activists fighting for animal liberation and are using this album and project to say ""fuck"" to animal exploitation and human supremacy over minorities."

Melbourne producer Jordan Brando releases his new Fixation EP today via DJ Tennis’ Life and Death. The four-track project marks Brando’s debut on the label and arrives as he continues to establish himself as one of Australia’s top new club exports.

Fixation is built around raw, bass-driven grooves, moving between the shuffling percussion and hypnotic vocal hook of the title track, the tougher techno edge of “Vibration,” and the classic house influence running through “The Bassline.” “After Dub” eases the pace without losing that foundation, closing the EP on a warm, melodic note.

The release extends a growing connection between Life and Death and the current wave of Australian producers making an impact worldwide. It follows recent projects from Brando’s Not Without Friends collaborators Luke Alessi and William Kiss, who both joined the label at the end of 2025. Together, the three have built momentum around a shared strain of forward-thinking club music and recently reunited in New York City for a Raw Cuts event this summer.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Brando has developed a reputation for the breadth of his productions and DJ sets, with his original music and remixes appearing across dance charts around the world. While his solo work has earned support from international tastemakers such as Pete Tong (via his BBC Radio 1 show), he’s performed with Kiss and Alessi at Heide Museum of Modern Art, Beyond the Valley, London’s Night Tales and Rippon Lea Estate.

After a run of performances spanning Australia, New Zealand and Europe—including Lost Village, Beyond the Valley, Night Tales and Melbourne’s Collingwood Town Hall—Fixation finds Brando entering his next chapter with one of electronic music’s most respected labels, further cementing his place among a generation of Australian artists reshaping the international club landscape.

Mr. K turns his attention to his hometown with a couple of deep underground NYC disco cuts that have never appeared on 7-inch before: the stomping ‘Hey Roots’ by Black Rock and Ahzz’s sought-after ‘New York’s Movin’’. Black Rock’s ‘Hey Roots’ was the band’s follow-up to their 1975 proto-disco single ‘New York City Bump’ and takes a similar four-on-the-floor approach while raising the tempo to match the energy of a standard 1977 dancefloor cut. Mr. K’s edit builds the track methodically, using a sparse sprinkling of the original vocals and focusing on the hypnotic, Bohannon-esque beat. On the flip, he tackles the Peter Brown-adjacent classic ‘New York’s Movin’’, this time dropping the vocals entirely in favour of working with the wicked instrumental take, a wild jam that layers handclaps, tambourine, slicing rhythm-guitar and perfectly cheesy synth strings to make an irresistible dancefloor banger. Adding a dubby breakdown and arranging the parts to get the maximum out of the limited 7-inch real estate (both cuts here top the five-minute mark), Mr. K has given us another powerful tool in an ever-growing arsenal of dancefloor weapons.

Der Stampfer »I Salute You« kann als eigene Art und Weise des Frontmanns verstanden werden, sich von seinen Fans zu verabschieden. Musikalisch rollt der Titel schwer wie ein Panzer voran und bahnt sich mit triumphierend klingenden Dudelsäcken und prominenter Unterstützung von der Band Saltatio Mortis als Feature-Künstler seinen Weg in die Gehörgänge.
Die ausufernde Rockballade »The Good Goodbye« erzählt vom Schmerz der notwendig gewordenen Trennung, aber auch davon, dass es weitergeht, auch wenn es anders ist, als zuvor.
Im Arena-Rocker »I'll Be« wird ein Schwur geleistet, immer da zu sein, immer präsent zu sein. Der Titel ist wie gemacht für die ganz großen Bühnen.
Das zunächst düster daherkommende »Nothing Breaks Like A Heart« baut sich kontinuierlich auf, bis im Chorus die s.g. Hero-Kadenz ebendiesen zum perfekten Singalong-Refrain macht. Thematisch geht es um leere Versprechungen, die ein gebrochenes Herz nach sich ziehen.
Bei »The Night Is Calling« wird jedes Partyherz höher schlagen. Es ist die perfekte Rockhymne.

Auch optisch hat man bei diesem Langspieler Nägel mit Köpfen gemacht: Das Cover und seine Wirkung erschließen sich dem geneigten Betrachter unmittelbar. Zu sehen ist ein verführerisch roter Kussmund, der eine nicht weniger knallrote, Dynamitstange küsst. Es wurde der Bandname und somit auch gleichzeitig der Albumname bebildert! Das Cover wirkt dabei schon fast ikonisch. Man kann sich das Motiv jetzt schon auf T-Shirts, Taschen, Autos und co. vorstellen.

The Homesick sind ein abenteuerlustiges niederländisches Trio, das Stile wie Post-Punk, Krautrock, New Wave und experimentellen Pop mit furchtloser Neugier und Hingabe meisterhaft miteinander verschmilzt. Frei von Dogmen und doch rastlos romantisch, haben sich THE HOMESICK über mehrere Alben hinweg immer wieder neu erfunden - vom mitreißenden Debütalbum *Youth Hunt* bis hin zum barock angehauchten Durchbruchsalbum *The Big Exercise*, das bei Sub Pop erschien. Auf ihrem dritten, unabhängig veröffentlichten selbstbetitelten Album - entstanden in der Zeit nach der Pandemie - verschmolz das Trio sein breites Referenzspektrum zu einem schlankeren, pulsierenden Sound. Nun, auf ihrem vierten Album (und dem ersten bei Siluh Records), haben The Homesick in zehn Tracks ihre ganz eigene, höchst einfallsreiche und durchweg unterhaltsame Version von Clubmusik geschmiedet. Dabei schaffen sie einen mitreißenden Fluss zwischen den Stücken und pendeln mühelos zwischen der eingängigen, von City-Pop inspirierten Lead-Single ,Esperanto", dem von 808-Beats getragenen Herzschmerz-Song ,Policelessness" und der märchenhaften Disco-Nummer ,The Bees". Um diese funktionale und zugleich fantastische Tanz-Odyssee zu realisieren, holten sich The Homesick ein viertes Paar Ohren zur Unterstützung ins Boot. Der in Amsterdam ansässige Produzent und Künstler Rimer London - eine Schlüsselfigur sowohl im Mainstream als auch im Underground - verlieh dem Material seine eigene, markante und pop-orientierte Note, nachdem das Trio seine Tüfteleien im Studio abgeschlossen hatte. Dieser frische kreative Schub half der Band, sich an pop-geschukten Vorbildern zu orientieren, etwa beim sinnlichen ,Love off the Leash" oder dem wehmütigen West-Coast-Pop von ,Hey". Indem sie stärker auf clubbige, von den 80ern inspirierte Sounds setzten als auf den disharmonischen Post-Punk früherer Tage, ließ sich das Trio oft von einer Lawine aus Ideen mitreißen - so etwa beim treibenden Electro-Pop von ,Sway the Needy". Letztlich ging es darum, jedem Track einen ganz eigenen klanglichen Charakter zu verleihen: ,Humdrum" wagt die Nähe zu den Talking-Heads-Klassikern, während der hektische Dub von ,Street Cyst" in unwiderstehliche Hyperpop-Anleihen mündet. Ihren Ruf als eigenwillige Scenesters untermauern The Homesick zudem mit dem mitreißenden Synth-Pop-Marsch ,Horse Alone". Und eines ist sicher - es gibt noch weitaus mehr eklektische Grandezza auf "What's Up With All These Shangri-Las" zu entdecken.
