Acony Records präsentiert stolz das Debütalbum von Old Crow Medicine Show, das erstmals auf Vinyl erhältlich ist. O.C.M.S. wurde ursprünglich auf analogem Tonband in den Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, aufgenommen und enthält einige der zeitlosesten Songs von Old Crow, wie „Take ‘Em Away“, „CC Rider“ und den mit Platin ausgezeichneten Titel „Wagon Wheel“. Das Album, ursprünglich produziert von David Rawlings, wurde liebevoll für Vinyl auf Rawlings’ maßgefertigten Ortofon-Verstärkern mit einem Neumann VMS-80-Schneidesystem gemastert, bei der brandneuen Paramount Plating and Pressing in Denver, Colorado, plattiert und gepresst und wird in einer luxuriösen Gatefold-Hülle von Stoughton Printing präsentiert.

With their third studio album New Thing, Reggae Workers Of The World take a bold step forward while staying deeply rooted in the timeless sounds that define them. Scheduled for release in March 2026 on Badasonic Records, the album captures the full scope of this transcontinental supergroup’s musical identity: soulful, genre-defying, and driven by classic songwriting.

Formed by Vic Ruggiero (The Slackers), Jesse Wagner (The Aggrolites), and Nico Leonard (The Badasonics), Reggae Workers Of The World unite the musical spirits of New York, Los Angeles, and Charleroi into a seamless collaboration. Across 11 tracks, New Thing moves freely between reggae, ska, soul, mento, rhythm & blues, and early rock ’n’ roll, reflecting both the trio’s deep roots and their creative freedom.

The album is enriched by an exceptional list of guests, including Efren Santana (Hepcat), David Hillyard (The Slackers), and renowned harmonica master Steven Troch, who all appear on the title track “New Thing.” The result is a warm, organic, and vibrant record—equally suited for vinyl collectors, radio programmers, and live audiences.

Ahead of the album release, the first single will debut as a Japan-exclusive 7” vinyl on January 18, underlining the band’s strong international reach and collector appeal. Following the release of New Thing, Reggae Workers Of The World will return to the road with a European tour in April 2026, reaffirming their reputation as a powerful and authentic live act.

Gute Neuigkeiten für Good Riddance-Fans! Nach sehr limitierter Verfügbarkeit der Erstauflage (schwarzes Vinyl) gibt es noch eine Nachpressung. Die zweitauflage kommt als Apple Red Vinyl. Die aus Santa Cruz, Kalifornien, stammende Band ist eine feste Größe in der Punkszene und bekannt dafür, die Lücke zwischen rasantem Skate-Punk und der rohen Intensität des Hardcore zu schließen. Sie werden für ihre ,intellektuelle Aggression" gefeiert, einen einzigartigen Sound, der rasante Drum-Geschwindigkeiten und scharfe Gitarrenriffs mit überraschend eingängigen Melodien verbindet. Alisha's Attic were one of the defining English pop duos of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Formed by sisters Shelly and Karen Poole, the pair first appeared in 1988 under the name Keren & Chelle, releasing their single "Sugar Daddy". In 1996 Alisha's Attic released their debut single "I Am, I Feel" which reached the #14 in the UK Singles Charts. Their debut album, Alisha Rules the World was released in November 1996, produced by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics. The album became a major success, achieving Platinum in the UK and generated a string of single "Alisha Rules The World", "Indestructible" and "Air We Breathe" all of which reached the UK Top 15.

Sean Solomon had great expectations. But when his hopes for an abundant world crashed up against an unforgiving reality, he decided to feel nothing. For a time, the Los Angeles-born-and-raised singer/songwriter and cartoonist/animator gave into the void - an understandable impulse when the landscape is cluttered with social injustice and division, global atrocities, and devastating headlines. But artistic expression can be a release valve - a way to comprehend the world and build community, which is exactly what Sean does on his debut solo album, The World Is Not Good Enough, arriving April 17th, 2026 via his new label home of ANTI- Records.

Peace World Records returns with Hidden Atmospheres, the debut release produced by Max F and mixed by Space Ghost. Drawing from classic deep house and esoteric club sounds of the '90s and early 2000s, this seven-track collection channels these influences into fresh territory while preserving the digital grit and dreamlike essence of the era.

The release strikes a delicate balance between the meditative and the kinetic. On the A Side, tracks “Soul Control” and “Zone 6” highlight subtle yet hard-hitting percussion grooves and deep basslines that anchor the mix beneath ethereal pads and sweeps. Each track builds through hypnotic, evolving arrangements that reward close listening. On the B side, “Dream Channel” and “Earth Effects" both feature airy, spectral synth progressions that interweave with ephemeral yet decisive melodies, demonstrating a refined insight of space and dynamics. To round things off, Space Ghost took a crack at an energetic club remix of “Dream Channel. ” Carried by a classic 909 house rhythm and a bubbly bassline, the remix offers a fun, uplifting take on the original, complete with organ stabs and MIDI sax!

As a whole, Hidden Atmospheres delivers something new for fans of 90s and 2000s era house music. Think Ronin, Hanna, Chris Brann, Wamdue Kids—artists whose work holds its own in the club while remaining equally suited for intimate late-night listening. Throughout the record, tracks drift seamlessly between shimmering dancefloor functionality and liminal, introspective ambience, inviting repeat listens that reveal new details and "hidden atmospheres" with eachpass.

Lawrence Asher shares his debut record on Berlin based Mood Waves. The French producer and dedicated record collector showcases a multitude of refined textures with this release, bridging the gap between pensive techno and IDM styles, with an acid attitude.

Bristol's Tara Clerkin Trio return to World of Echo and the EP format for a five song collection of quixotic, emotional redolence. But do not mistake their absence for inertia. If their musical output has been a little sparse during those in-between years, limited to a few solo ventures and an astonishing ten minute long piece as a trio, their time has otherwise been richly spent: continuous writing and recording, extensive live performances across Europe and Japan, a cultivation of local and more far-flung artistic connections (musical and otherwise), and a monthly NTS show that, through the voice of others, speaks most obviously to their own unorthodox interests. It's the conflux of that winding activity that leads indirectly to On The Turning Ground, 26 minutes of probing, thoughtful composition that draws from no one specific source. Their inspirations might be centreless, but the trio still possess a very obvious anchor in the form of their hometown. Bristol stands as a city of multitudes, heterogenous and vibrant in such a way as to allow it to renew and remake time and again. Tara Clerkin Trio drink from that same well, duly reflecting a rich musical heritage built on fwd-facing electronic subcultures and experimental urges.

As such, On The Turning Ground finds them subject to their own subtle internal evolution, the pervasive sense that you've caught them mid-bloom, on their way to becoming but never anything but themselves. The two instrumental pieces that bookend the EP stand as a perfect case in point, displaying an increasing mastery of compositional space. Pensive and restrained, 'Brigstow' and 'Once Around' both emanate an interstitial quality that's not so much after- as in-between-hours, miniature dub-folk symphonies held together by the kind of tacit understanding that remains the preserve of only the closest of family units. If those two tracks are shaped by a sense of shifting temporality, then the three vocal-led pieces that comprise the record's core feel like a gentle ossifying of aesthetic into something approaching their own unique form of avant-pop. 'Pop' is, of course, a broadly subjective concept, but there's no avoiding the overt sparkling melodicism of songs like 'Marble Walls' and 'The Turning Ground', undeniable re-directions of that late 90s impulse to bend pop sensibilities into off-centre terrain, to render the familiar new again. This is what Tara Clerkin Trio do, gently pulling the ground from under your feet, turning you to face something you'd not quite seen before. To view the world as they do: sideways, sometimes, all of the time.
