High-octane DC techno drawing from the city’s current atmosphere of tension and angst.

After a peaktime 002 release on Floorspeed just 8 months ago, DC resident techno heads James Bangura & JR2k kick it up a notch with a round 2 of wall-to-wall intensity.

JR2k goes 0 to 60 on the A side with “Hardcore DC” and “Fever Dream” – both tracks road-tested, lifted straight from live set performances earlier in the year and ready to burn a hole through a soundsystem near you. Explosive, relentless and uncompromising techno from the mind behind the label.

Bangura enters the picture on the flip side, combo-ed with JR2k on “Accentuator” – a classic slice of 1⁄2 bar loop hard groove techno conceptuality reminiscent of 2000s Oliver Ho & James Ruskin collab heaters. “Defiance” finishes on a heavy beatdown note, with an extended middle breakdown to emphasize the tension and release of this 4-tracker.

"Recorded in Naples historic recording studio Auditorium Novecento ‘notes from the air’ is the second Ciro Vitiello full-lenght album, that turns around the ambiguous figure of the seagull, a coastal apparition both ridiculous and divine, foolish and sacred, graceful in flight yet uneasy on land, something that knows more than it shows, carrying both wonder and threat in its gaze.

The album breathes through that tension, the desire to fly and the fear of falling, the suspicion of having already crashed somewhere unseen.
Wind, creaking ropes, invisible currents: these become signals from another uncoding state, reminders that air can be both home and haunting. The record lingers in suspension. Each track feels like a fragment carried by wind, a message blurred, a memory misplaced, something approaching meaning but never arriving.

The record drifts between orchestral gestures and dream-pop/post-rock shadows, guided by Ciro Vitiello’s fascination with shoegaze textures and cinematic atmospheres, and features contributions by Heith, Renato Grieco, Stefano Costanzo, Caraluce and Daniel Kinzelman. Vocal features include Martyna Basta, Heith and Antonina Nowacka, alongside Ciro’s own voice."

After the release of long player ‘The Gospel Of Jesamy’, Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers return with a heavy hitting 4-track EP entitled ‘Alpha & Omega’.

The Amsterdam-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer follows up his very well received gospelfunk album with a big chunk of funk fuelled, high energy spiritual music featuring some stellar vocals also present on the previous record:Texas born gospel singer Brandon Delagraentiss, longtime collaborator Marissa Nyamekye aka Mariseya and the legendary LA-born vocalist Rocq-E Harrell who - in her career spanning decades - has sung with Stevie Wonder, Patti Labelle, Earth Wind & Fire, and toured with Diana Ross and the legendary Barry White.

As far as disco bangers go, they don't come much better than 'To Be With You Again'. The shock is hits is actually a brand new tune on a new label rather than an unearthed old gem. It's a heart-swelling sound with symphonic strings and swooning energy all finished in magnificent style by the stunning vocals from the Choir of Angelic Disco Angels. Getaway Jones adds the tight bassline and some superb keys to make this a must-cop 12" this is guaranteed to fly off the shelves. An instrumental on the flip is just as moving, but it's the vocal-fuelled A-side that really soars.

Demuir is a firm part of the deep house world by now and always brings sounds that are as sophisticated as his alias suggests they should be. This time, he's heading up a new EP for Selections that opens with 'Free', a percussive sound with organic, live-sounding drums that are woody and funky with smooth vocals and pads up top. Oscar P reworks it with a heavier, house-driven low end but keeps some playfulness in the trumpets. 'Fate For Faith' is a warm and steamy mix of bongos and hadn't drums with muffled beats and cosmic synth rays that reach for the stars. A cuddly dub closes down what is a heartfelt and human EP.

defaultbox returns with its 20th release entitled "020".

This various artists compilation brings together five carefully selected tracks by Karenz, Gockel, TIKOA, 10.000 BC, and aem.aze, each rooted in a shared vision of deep, functional techno rhythms and subtle dub-infused textures.

The release comes on a limited run of 50 transparent blue splatter copies alongside the regular black pressing.

pdqb, the producer whose name sounds like a coded message, has surpassed the need for introduction. It emerged from nowhere, becoming omnipresent almost instantly, leaving every electronic music producer eager - if not obsessed - to work with it. InDepth Imprint launches its debut release with a forward-thinking V.A. bringing together UFO95, Hadone, Raar, Initial Code and Clara D. The label focuses on bridging avant-garde sound exploration with club-driven functionality. This first release is built on audio material recorded during a collaborative residency at Willem Twee Studios, using its unique collection of mid-20th-century scientific instruments repurposed for music. Each artist was invited to explore their own creative path, resulting in a highly distinctive record where experimental textures meet precision-engineered techno. The outcome is a coherent yet diverse sonic statement that sets the artistic direction for InDepth Imprint: immersive, concept-driven and deeply connected to contemporary club culture.

Between Faith and Noiz represents the exact point where faith and inner chaos coexist.
It's an introspective journey toward the center of the mind: the space where thought becomes distorted, where sound turns into a reflection of doubt, where faith is tested within one's own noise.

Noiz symbolizes that internal, mental, and emotional noise that distorts reality - the voices, the interference, the overload of stimuli.

Altin Gün, die türkisch-psychedelische Band aus Amsterdam, veröffentlicht ihr sechstes Studioalbum "Garip", ein ehrgeiziges und vielseitiges Werk, das als Hommage an die türkische Volksmusiklegende Neset Ertas (1938-2012) dient. "Garip" enthält zehn von Ertas" ikonischen Kompositionen, die von Altin Gün auf einzigartige Weise neu interpretiert und musikalisch erweitert werden. Die Band verbindet dabei eine Vielzahl von Einflüssen, von der klassischen Anatolischen Volksmusik über Arabesque und Bollywood-Soundtracks bis hin zu westlichen Rock- und Synth-Vibes. Das Album ist eine kreative Weiterentwicklung des bereits etablierten Sounds von Altin Gün, der Elemente aus Funk, Rock, und türkischer Folklore miteinander vereint. Mit hypnotischen Basslinien, kräftigen Schlagzeugrhythmen und filigranen Synthesizer-Arpeggien schafft "Garip" eine Atmosphäre, die die Essenz von Ertas" emotional aufgeladenen Liedern einfängt und gleichzeitig die experimentierfreudige Energie der Band widerspiegelt. Daniele Baldelli and Jolly Mare come together for a record that feels less like a collaboration and more like a shared state of mind. Flusso Uno moves through Afro-cosmic kraut-inflected psychedelia and cinematic electronics with a natural, unforced flow, where rhythm, texture and narrative all pull in the same direction.
Rather than referencing the past, the EP treats it as a living language. The longform, ritualistic percussion of early cosmic dance culture meets the hypnotic motorik pulse of krautrock and the more structured, sample-driven tribalism that followed in later decades. What ties it all together is a deep sense of atmosphere and intention: music that feels physical, emotional and quietly transportive.

Dhol Parade opens the journey like a slow-burning procession, drums circling and expanding as if guiding the listener into another space. With Icari the perspective lifts, melodic lines drifting and tilting, constantly searching for balance between gravity and flight. Huldufolk pulls everything back into a shadowy, nocturnal zone, where textures feel half-real, half-imagined.
Finally, Viaggio Tascabile loses the record in a quietly reflective way, a compact voyage that sums up the EP’s philosophy: small in scale, deep in meaning. Flusso Uno is not about nostalgia or revivalism. It is about taking the spirit of cosmic culture and letting it breathe in the present, where storytelling, dancefloor intuition and sonic exploration still meet. A record made for open ears, open minds and long nights.

The fledgling Supremus is back to roll out a second edition of the London-based Frenchman Giom's classics series with three more carefully chosen cuts that underline his club clout. His own remix of 'As Darkness Falls' returns with warming chords and bright keys over a rolling groove and Apple Rochez vocal that oozes r&b appeal. 'Summerized' resurfaces after years out of reach with a more tight, tense groove and diffuse synth work that washes over the mix. Closing track 'Play On' leans into warm days and outdoor dancing with a nu-disco vibe that's effortlessly lush and absorbing, so it will likely be big all over again this year, especially after a fine remaster for 2026.

Legendary is a bold title for an EP, but is fully justified in the case of this new 12" from Silver Walker, which gathers some of house music's best and most proven talents. Jon Dixon opens with the light, fluttering house stylings of 'Five 15', which have sax motifs adding a touch of classy hi-tech jazz. Dallas man JT Donaldson follows by folding jazz phrasing into a swinging, deep house framework with understated finesse. On the flip, Abacus delivers 'A Gathering Of Griots' a warm, melodic cut bathed in sunlight and label head DFRA closes with a tribute to the great Mike Huckaby that is driving but soft, reverential and with a bittersweet energy.

In a dystopian universe where elites manipulate memory to control the population. Vibracid emerges as a technique of liberation through sound: a method for erasing induced memory.

THE RHYME marks the counterattack phase. The insurgents infect the system used by the elites for control and reprogram it from within: patterns, voices and sequences as active code.

Contemporary bass, electro, breaks, acid and rave converge as transmission vectors. Each track operates as a unit of intervention within this science fiction scenario.

At this stage, new signals are incorporated. Power, with a solid trajectory within the underground circuit, opens the EP in a forceful way, with an acid, surprising and spectacular impact. Exieve, a young producer from Chernihiv, continues the attack with a raw tension where vocals cut through the signal like sharp fragments. Alongside them, Lups Digga, Atix, Parand and Calagad 13 continue expanding the system’s reach.

This all French affairs finds the eponymous Politics Of Dancing label head hook up with deep house head Djebali for a quartet of kicking minimal tech sounds. The swirling, circular bass of 'The Moment' soon gets your fists pumping, then 'Question' is a little more loose and wobbly - the fleshy bass and snappy snares contrasting one another nicely. On the flip, 'Ball Lightning' starts off with ascending synth lines and urgency in the grooves that will ensure plenty of locked-in dancers with withering sci-fi motifs adding a little cosmic escapism. The closer 'Whip' is the most fun sound - characterful synths and drums that duck and dive make for fresh house with a relentless groove.

The amount of quality music Burnski has produced, A&Red and released in recent years is off the charts. His labels are some of the most played in the underground right now, but that hasn't stopped him from starting another one here with Silhouette. Mundy is a new name to us, but has some serious chops on display here with six stylish cuts that explore the intersection of garage, tech and minimal. The synths are silky and the vocal samples are expertly placed to give each groove real character. 'Real Love' is deep and r&b tinged, 'Find You' has a dark low end and 'The Middle' is all about the filthy bass. Pure heaters.
