Flash Forward sind seit Jahren nicht mehr aus der deutschen Musiklandschaft wegzudenken. Ausverkaufte Shows in ganz Deutschland, Support Touren mit (inter)nationalen Größen wie Enter Shikari, You Me At Six, Deaf Havana oder Emil Bulls und Slots auf den größten Deutschen Festivals wie dem Hurricane, Southside, Highfield oder dem Open Flair, zeichnen die Vita der Band.
Im neuen Album RENEGADE (VÖ: 31.01.2025) steckt viel. Viel Angst, viel Vertrauen, viel Wut, viel Hoffnung. Sich nicht zugehörig zu fühlen und sowohl den subjektiven als auch objektiven Transformationen und Herausforderungen zu stellen, bedeutet sich zu erheben, Blindheit abzulegen und die Augen zu öffnen. Selbstbestimmung, Gleichberechtigung, Toleranz und Nächstenliebe sind Werte, welche die Band nicht erst auf dem neuen Album, sondern seit jeher auf ihren Konzerten und mit ihrer Haltung vermittelt. Das Album ist also weniger ein neues Kapitel als vielmehr die Fortführung der essenziellen Tugenden von Flash Forward.
Genauso wie die Musik der Band, die sich durch ihre Vielseitigkeit auszeichnet und moderne Pop-Elemente mit harten Gitarren und intensiven Drums miteinander verschmilzt, ist das neue Album RENEGADE etwas für JEDE:N der sich mit diesen Werten identifiziert.

Acclaimed folk-blues singer/songwriter Luke Winslow-King has recently inked a significant deal with the iconic Bloodshot records, coinciding with the label’s 30th anniversary, and marking a revival in the institution’s trailblazer history of outlaw country, folk roots, and rock n roll. To celebrate this exciting collaboration, Luke Winslow-King is set to embark on a midwest tour with guitar maestro Roberto Luti of Tuscany May 17 - June 1 of 2024. Tuscan Slide Guitar Maestro Roberto Luti is a founding member of the Playing For Change band and has collaborated with legends such as Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, Keith Richards, Ringo Starr, Dr. John and numerous others, accumulating over 100 million plays on YouTube. His unorthodox, angular and evocative slide guitar style is based on Mississippi and Chicago blues and is infused by soul and African roots traditions. Fans can expect the sincere and heartfelt roots blues stylings King has become known for, showcased alongside his continual artistic reinvention

Both originating from Basel Switzerland, experimental dance outlets Amenthia Recordings and A Walking Contradiction combine forces and present their first collaborative release. Both known for their dare-to-do-different approach and proudly presenting sounds that come from their inner circle of friends they compiled the Flash Crash / Hack Crash EP with exactly this mindset.

Great classic and timeless tune of the 80s and French Boogie scene, « Histoire d’1 Soir (Bye bye les galères) » is an ode to party, liberty, youth and freedom, interpreted by Bibi Flash aka Brigitte Gasté, an atypical singer from the French Boogie.

With its light lyrics and mythical chorus, its euphoria and irresistible disco-rap vibe, this track produced by Philippe Renaux (Holly Guns, Clever, Pianola…) released in 1983 is a sincere photography of its time, during which these children of the « summer of love » and May 68 criss-crossed Paris in search of endless nights, pleasure and freedom.

A prized and rare record which is nowadays repressed by Barbecue imprint in 2021, in its 12’’ version, with the original, the Disco Mix, instrumental and the A Cappella, and is accompanied by a new modern and festive edit by French house producer Blutch.

As a bonus, an insert with exclusive texts and photos by Bibi Flash and Philippe Renaux, in a fun and flash universe full of bright colors, revealing the spirit of these good old times.

GRILLMASTER FLASH - Vollfunktionsentertainer und Singer/Songwriter aus Bremen-Nord - zeigte sich auf seinen drei bisherigen Alben bereits gewitzt wandlungswillig. So mäanderte er in den vergangenen acht Jahren entlang Alternative- und Classic Rock, Power Pop und ähnlichen Genres, bis hin zu einer Punk-EP. Insgesamt mit allgemein starkem 80er-Jahre-Einschlag. Nun hat Grilli, nur knapp ein Jahr nach der Veröffentlichung des letzten Albums "Komplett Ready" (2022), ein Heavy Metal-Album aufgenommen. Ganz richtig gelesen - Und es ist wirklich ernst gemeint! Die 9 neuen Songs auf "Flash Metal" bedienen sich den verschiedensten Spielarten des Metals und huldigen dem abwechslungsreichen Genre. Stilsicher, eloquent, mit viel Hingabe zur Musik: "Flash Metal" ist ein Liebesbrief an den Metal. DIE ÄRZTE-Bassist Rodrigo González hat die Leadgitarre und Gitarrensoli der ersten Single "Der letzte Metalhead"eingespielt. Und damit ist der nicht das einzige DÄ-Mitglied auf dem Album... Der OST des zweifach GRAMMY-/BAFTA-nominierten Komponisten Benjamin Wallfisch zum US-SciFi-Action-Film 'The Flash' von Regisseur Andy Muschietti mit u.a. Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle, Ben Affleck und George Clooney. Die zweite Verfilmung der Comicfigur The Flash aus dem DC Extended Universe kam im Sommer 2023 auch hierzulande in die Kinos. Wallfisch adaptiert darin auch Batman-bezogene Themen wie z.B. Danny Elfmans 'The Batman Theme'. Beide Formate umfassen 42 Titel mit über 80 Minuten Musik. Die Farbe des Triple-Vinyl basiert auf dem ikonischen rot-gelben Anzug von The Flash, während das Triple-Gatefold mit The Flash, Batman und Supergirl verziert ist.

Yetsuby lands on London label Third Place with her 'Water Flash' EP this July.

Seoul-based artist Yetsuby is best known as one half of electronic super-duo Salamanda, who have won hearts and minds with their light and floaty new-age electronica via releases on Good Morning Tapes, Human Pitch, and Métron Records. As a solo act, she has released her own music on the Taipei-based 禁 JIN as well as through the Seoul store The Internatiiional amongst self-released delights on her Bandcamp.

Turning to Will Hofbauer's playful Third Place imprint for her latest 12', Yetsuby delivers four bubbly tracks. On the A-side, the title cut 'Water Flash' leads with airy synths and textured percussion, while 'Electro Union' ups the energy with choppy vocal samples, punchy drums, and twinkling arps. On the flip, subtle synths wriggle alongside low-key percussion on 'Commercial Noisy Day', making for a heads-down affair, before the gorgeous finalé '물먹는하마' rounds out the B-side with delicate keys and detailed yet muted drums.

Label owner Florian Meindl delivers the first Limited Edition Splatter Vinyl on FLASH Recordings featuring the title track of the 300. release on the label "Galaxy Storm" as well as one unreleased electro track called "Creator Of A Better World".

On the B Side a 2015 production named "Mental Atmsphere" found its way on vinyl as it was only digital before and Chord Raider is a fairly new track which has been produced live on a Twitch stream together with Sinee from Cologne.
