Co-Accused are back for their first release of 2025 with a dose of raw and relentless techno from one of Glasgow’s most solid of underground forces Fear-E. 9 Darter EP presents four slabs of peak-time pressure, polished with the refined edge of the Posh End Music boss’s production. No surprise this EP is in parts inspired by the sounds of UK techno legend Dave Angel and in others of the general free-wheeling ethos of the 90s - feeling as relentless as a basement session in that golden era.

Fear-E has built a reputation as a beacon of putting out high quality club tracks through his career, releasing on the likes of Dame Music, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Dark Entries, while also running his own imprint Posh End Music alongside its hardcore-driven sister label Breakbeat Energy. Gold nugget vinyl, limited to 200 copies. Black Metal is one hell of an album. It's a downbeat, dark folk album, that manages to capture the vibe of the band's earlier work quite well. Pelander has managed to make a "doom album" without actually making one in the traditional sense. Black Metal manages to capture the world weary, woeful, attitude and vibe of doom better than a ton of albums that crank up the Sabbath worship to ridiculous levels. OONA Recordings is proud to announce the upcoming release of the soundtrack for The Girl With The Needle by Frederikke Hoffmeier. Hoffmeier, whom performs under the stage name Puce Mary, brings a raw, intense and atmospheric score to this Oscar-nominated film, which is contending for Best International Feature. Known for her bold, experimental approach to sound, Hoffmeier’s composition immerses listeners in the film’s dark, emotionally-charged world. Directed by Magnus von Horn, The Girl With The Needle premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it earned praise for its uncompromising vision. The film went on to receive a Golden Globe nomination for Best Non-English Language Film and won two prestigious awards at the European Film Awards, including Best Score for Hoffmeier’s hauntingly powerful work. The score to The Girl With The Needle is as dark as it is compelling, a masterclass in creating tension, unease, and raw emotional weight. Hoffmeier’s sound design is equal parts abrasive and intimate, drawing the listener into a world of fractured beauty. Her use of organic textures, electro-acoustic undertones, and dissonant, atonal melodies challenges traditional notions of film music, offering something deeply visceral and unpredictable. The Guardian described Hoffmeier’s score as "nerve-abrading," highlighting the relentless, uncomfortable energy that underpins the film. The Chicago Reader similarly calls the score haunting, noting how it amplifies the film’s stark atmosphere. Featuring songs in both Welsh and English, ‘Elan’ explores the landscape, history and politics of this remote area, which was flooded to provide water for Birmingham at the end of the Victorian era.

"Shell of Inexistence" ist nicht nur ein kraftvolles musikalisches Statement, sondern auch ein intensives lyrisches Werk, das tief in die Abgründe der Psyche und Gesellschaft eintaucht.

"Shell Of Inexsistence" wurde unter der Leitung von Roland Böffgen und Helldrifter, in den Hard Drive Sound Studios in Stuttgart aufgenommen, produziert und gemixt. Die Gitarren- und Bassspu ren wurden unter der Leitung von Vasilis Monopoulos in dem bandeigenen Studios aufgenommen. Der finale Feinschliff und das Mastering wurde von Kai Stahlenberg, im Kohlekeller Studio in See heim-Jugenheim, durchgeführt. Für die visuelle Umsetzung wurde Giannis Nakos (Remedy Design) beauftragt, der unter anderem bereits die Artworks für Suffocation, Morbid Angel, Cryptopsy oder The Crown realisierte.

Chained Echoes is a 16-bit style RPG set in a fantasy world where dragons are as common as piloted mechanical suits. The game is set on the continent of Valandis during the time of a multi-generational war between three kingdoms, Taryn, Gravos and Escanya. After a great catastrophe caused by Grand Grimoire shakes the continent, the kingdoms agree to sign a peace treaty. One year later, an unknown force strives to begin a new war. A group of unlikely heroes joins forces and eventually becomes the clan of Crimson Wings in order to stop it. The outstanding soundtrack for Chained Echoes was passionately composed, arranged and recorded over four years by Eddie Marianukroh as well as many other musicians who worked under his direction. It includes 50 tracks at two hours in length. Even the game has been out for a while, Marianukroh's admiration and enthusiasm for the game and his addition to it remain undiminished: "It has been over two years now since the release of Chained Echoes, which is rather difficult for me to believe. Time really flies, and it's honestly a bit frightening when I think about it. But, despite that, when I listen to the music I've written for this game, I still very much remain proud of what I composed. I really did give my all for this soundtrack. I will forever be grateful to Matthias for trusting me with the music for his game. I can vividly remember how I felt when I first came across his project, and how I nervously reached out to him about the composer position. I truly, truly cannot thank him enough for giving me this memorable experience that I will always hold dear. Thank you, my friend."

AAA Gripper have seemingly dropped out of nowhere but the story goes back. The idea was conjured in the summer of 2023 at the first Wrong Speed Records festival in the town of Glastonbury. Inspired by a weekend of radical sounds and fine company a decision was made - 'let's try something'.
Recording hours and hours of bass and drums in deep Somerset then editing it down to a sharp and concise 32 minutes. From Can's Lost Tapes boxset to No Means No's 0+2=1 via a thousand song structure decisions. Wild guitar strafe and precise hyper vocal added. Nine tight tunes magically appeared. The band raised a glass of tea. The band was born. The 'something' had worked.

Musselwhite has received 13 Grammy nominations and 33 Blues Music Awards. In
2014 his collaboration with Ben Harper Get Up won a Grammy and in 2010 he was
inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame. In 2023, Musselwhite was cast in Martin
Scorsese's film Killers of the Flower Moon.Charlie has collaborated with an eclectic
list of incredible artists over the years, including Ben Harper, Cyndi Lauper, Eddie
Vedder, Tom Waits, Bonnie Raitt, Gov't Mule, INXS, George Thorogood, Eliades Ochoa,
Cat Stevens, Elvin Bishop and John Lee Hooker.More than any other harmonica player
of his generation, Charlie Musselwhite can rightfully lay claim to inheriting the mantle
of many of the great harp players that came before him with music as dark as
Mississippi mud and as uplifting as the blue skies of California.
In an era when the term legendary gets applied to auto-tuned pop stars, this singular
blues harp player, singer, songwriter, and guitarist has earned and deserves to be
honored as a true master of American classic vernacular music.

At long last, Q Lazzarus says hello to Dark Entries. Q Lazzarus is the moniker of Diane Luckey, born in New Jersey in 1960. While living in the East Village in New York City in the 1980s, Diane met songwriter Bill Garvey at a party and they recorded “Goodbye Horses” in his home studio. As the story goes, Luckey met Hollywood director Jonathan Demme when she picked him up in her taxi during a snowstorm in 1986. Demme was wowed by her demo tape, which was playing in the cab, and they ended up hanging out at a restaurant for hours talking about life and music. “He liked it so much, I gave him the tape I was listening to, he said he would call me for one of his movies, but I didn’t really take it seriously.” said Luckey. Demme would have the song “Goodbye Horses” first appear in his offbeat comedy Married to the Mob, and then again more memorably in Silence of the Lambs when Buffalo Bill changes into women’s clothing while drowning out his intended victim’s pleas with loud music. Despite the exposure, both Luckey and Garvey languished in relative obscurity. “Goodbye Horses” is the definition of a cult classic, an ethereal tearjerker driven by Garvey’s lush synth work and Luckey’s unmistakably powerful voice. Garvey says, “the song is about transcendence over those who see the world as only earthly and finite.”

Over 15 years of effort have gone into the making of this release. All five songs on this record were previously unreleased and are sourced from original master tapes. The extended version of “Goodbye Horses” was newly mixed from the original stems by Alberto Hernandez at Fantasy Studios. Instrumental and acapella versions of the song are included, which are also available for the first time. Side B opens with “Hellfire,” a brooding number about the New York BDSM nightclub of the same name, showcasing the range and force of Luckey’s voice. “Summertime” follows, with a sauntering synth-reggae spin on the 1937 George Gershwin number. Both B-side tracks are also new mixdowns and edits from the original stems. This record is released alongside Eva Aridjis Fuentes’s documentary on Q Lazzarus, Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus, a work chronicling the life of the enigmatic Luckey. It is an opportune moment to reflect on the underrecognized artists we have lost and the undeniable brilliance of both Diane Luckey and William Garvey.
