Lately he kept fiercely digging into Ichneumon wasps and joined the honourable International Antimilitarist Insect Forces, just to return on wax with Aterrimus, Nalpas is firing his solo debut with two bony freetek junglecore tracks!

Humeur & Molécule was a tape from Ben DSP, a live set he used to play a lot in 1997/1998...
The DSP sound is minimal and groovy, very influenced by the Network23 plates.
The sleeve is from Livia Saavadra, it's a picture took from Teknival de Caen in may 1999. The photo is taken from the second spot (because the Teknival de Caen was too small and finally a second spot was opened in a carrier).
This live set is one hour long. And can be replayed as it should by Chaine Records in this order :

Originally released in 1998 on Mononom, Sensory Overload EP captures the darker, psychedelic side of the Dutch free party scene. Robbert Latumahina builds three intense tracks from relentless rhythms, twisted sequences, heavy modulation and distorted electronics. A side is "Drumfetish" a ZMK 01 hit combo... The music is exactly at the inbetween Hardtek and Hardcore... And also it's a super cut-off/bring-it-in crossfader tune for actives deejays ! Eenjoy the different ways to spin it... Or with Drum & Bass or with Hardcore !
The flip is "Refuse To Believe", it brings a very mystical or nostalgic, or new wave feeling, using flangers and Transcore tricks... I always felt it was an node to the IST productions.
At a time Stefan ZMK was making lots of music for our scene, and ZMK was one of my favorite crew on vinyl. I am really proud he accepted to make a vinyl with us. Nowadays he is one of my favorite mastering studio...
So I asked him if he could re-master his own music ?
Here's the result : one track per side, playing 45 RPM (wich is cool because at 33 it's a bloody weapon too).

Two tracks extending towards the 10 minute marker, very much in the unique style of Robert Mononom which was already being refined throughout his previous 3 EPs, now culminating in 2 excursions throughout deep hypnotic/psychedelic machine made sounds. A side is built on an aggressive triple and double beat kick drum with a very dubby "big room" presence upon which waves of other nuances in noise get overlayed slowly transforming the 165+ BPM experience throughout what sounds like an extended live mix. B side goes in more spacial/atmospheric direction where hi hats take control over the kick, capturing the witness in a whirlwind of dubbed out overlaying rhythmic patterns. A sound so raw and pure in its introspection, clearly showing Robert's capacity of developing an aesthetic of his own.
