The concluding chapter of Jamaica Suk’s 17-track ‘Uncertain Landscape’ series arrives with a bang, with another four explosive tracks to round it off.

Milton Bradley — aka Alien Rain — begins proceedings with a hammering assault in the form of ‘Driving Force’. Detuned, ravey synths produce a cacophonous barrage of sound as the rubbery kick groove intones more hardcore vibes. There’s a touch of John Carpenter vibes in the spooky arpeggios that permeate the more stripped back sections. Bone-crushing groove abounds throughout.

Italy’s Kill Ref delivers a distorted thumper on ‘Subbaculta’, slowly eeking out a rasping groove from the underbelly of his pummeling drums. The track keeps building throughout, the shuffling rhythm
bolstering some seriously raw machine funk in the latter half that emerges almost imperceptibly.

The ringmaster herself, Jamaica Suk, makes her contribution to the series on ‘Escape’. She conjures up a tripped-out soundscape where layers stack in potent combination. Squelchy acid licks do battle
with the stomping bass groove and heavily-reverbered sustained textures. It sounds as if there are monsters loose in the speakers.

Nicolas Bougaïeff closes this momentous four-part release with his second contribution, ‘Nocturne 3’. Rocking a stuttered kick pattern, it revolves around grunting swathes of industrial noise, on-beat
clap patterns and all manner of weird and wonderful sounds that pitch-bend, tweak and freak to delightful levels of intensity. It’s a very well arranged and sequenced track that keeps you guessing.

Memoryman aka Uovo gives us some deep-disco vibes with rolling rhythmic beds and hip shaking grooves.

Wound Music delivers it in 12', with three original tracks (B1 originally released on Defected Records) with heady 90s remix by Voodoo Effect.

Today we bring the debut single from Gutti Legatto & Mike Denitz called - El Pasacalle . The exciting original is backed by two excellent remixes from Lucio Spain and Fideles.

- El Pasacalle crawls up your neck like dark anticipation. Delicate beats smoothly build to a deep bassline, this track is a pure dancefloor rocket. We already know that this track will raising some roofs throughout the summer.

Following that, it's Lucio Spain on the remix, dropping a different groove but with equal impact. Perfectly reflecting his style, deep but powerful and with passion. This techie edge gives the track a little more bite and drive, making it perfect for late night sessions.

The Fideles remix takes the original even deeper and with it's super-low bassline. Fideles brings his own distinctive sound to the track with high-hats that snap and clap over some ultra-funky, bouncing bass. This remix takes - El Pasacalle deep underground, rubs it raw, and delivers it back to us in a package that is, well, just fabulous!

- Pasamontanas the second original explores a deep, tribal vibe with darker elements that drive the tension to crowd pleasing levels. It is a straight up, in your face monster. There's no way to get around it, so we recommend to relax and undergo the sonic punishment.

Its always exciting for us to be introduced to new artists. Here comes the next EP on Cellaa Music, this time from the irresistible electronic Duo formed by Fabio Neural and F.Sonik, whose previous outings have been on labels like SCI+TEC, Antura, Serkal, KD Music, K9 Records, Monique Music. Lead track is - Calle Sevilla' that immediately commands attention with it's locked tight Groove, Piano licks and warm Rhodes Keys that lead us to the mighty bassline and we're already feeling the intensity. - Barrio Viejo Groovalicious' feeds off its infectious bassline and it is is built upon some deep, rolling grooves. Marc Faenger's remix picks up the pace, adding a signature percussion sound, stripping back the vocals to create a more techier focused version of the track.

Big with Maya Jane Coles, Round Table Knights, Homework, Claude Von Stroke, Robert Owens, Wildkats, Nhan Solo, Shir Khan,..Berlin-based Robosonic welcome the springtime with their first OFF EP. "Worst Love" uses an anthemic sample to create a groovy dancefloor burner with tight groove. Doctor Dru delivers a contemporary underground pop remix. Fritz Zander from the Suol collective made a "Panorama Bar 9 am"-styled remix for the real house-heads. And with "Thankful", Robosonic give us a 2nd original track, slightly more toolish than Worst Love.

Sa Pa presents Rhythm From Ambient, the second release on Dub Techno For Life, delivering four experimentally tipped house and dub techno tracks.

Leading with ten minutes of undulating, swamp-soaked grooves, heavy dub weight and scattered, gravel-like percussion, “Rhythm From Ambient” shares the A-side with its companion “Rhythm” - bringing a rougher, rawer energy that revives an industrial techno cut originally intended for Sa Pa’s MDR EP (2015).

On the B-side, “Last Dance” is an extended deep house-styled ‘Ballroom Dub’ that’s a warmly haunting mixture of atmosphere, groove and slow-burning euphoria. Closing the EP is “Bo Riddim”, a slower experimental number with deep sub-bass, heavy drums and laced-out percussion underpinning experimental textures and melodic fragments.

Following up the Girls On Tour EP (DTL001), Sa Pa delivers another four cuts for Dub Techno For Life, the artist’s newly launched label, continues its push into deep house and dub techno territory with a self-styled experimental streak.

Following the reissue of Fire & Sugar (1975), we present a special 45 focused on two standout tracks from the album.

If you’ve heard the album, you already know “Guaguanrock” had to make it to our favorite format. So here it is on 45.

Side A features “Guaguanrock (Le Spam Mix)”, a new version by Andrew “DJ Le Spam” Yeomanson, created from the original multitrack master tapes. The mix extends the intro break and brings the drums forward, enhancing the track’s raw, percussive energy for maximum dancefloor impact.

On the flip, “Bokolo” delivers a deeper, hypnotic groove, showcasing Caunedo’s unique blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms and jazz-funk textures.


A DJ-focused release, bridging rare groove authenticity with modern playability.

First Principles marks the debut release on Groove Disciples Series, a new DJ-focused vinyl catalogue from 80147, created as a natural extension of the Groove Disciples Podcast. While the podcast has connected DJs and selectors from local scenes across Europe through guest mixes and conversations, the new series continues that mission through carefully curated vinyl releases from artists who are both DJs and producers.

Opening the catalogue, Bloody G delivers four dancefloor-oriented cuts that explore the space between deep house and Detroit-inspired techno edges. From the melodic and melanchonic "Message in the Sound" to the driving "Regroup Reclaim Rebuild" and "Machine Funk" with a reinterpretation by Southbound Sounds, the EP is built with club functionality at its core, favouring groove, analogue warmth and musical restraint over passing trends.

First Principles establishes the philosophy behind the series: music first, DJs at the centre, and vinyl as the medium that continues to connect local clubbing scenes through music, collaboration and community.

Following a strong debut, the Uruguayan label EviternoRecords returns with its second release, Teknovela, bringing together Molen and Nico Lampariello, two of the most talented poducers from the new generation of Uruguay’s electronic scene. Across four carefully crafted cuts, the EP expands the label’s vision through music that is equally instinctive and deliberate. Built around hypnotic movement, subtle tension and refined groove, Teknovela unfolds with patience, inviting listeners into an evolving journey where every detail serves the dancefloor without sacrificing depth or personality. The A-side finds Nico Lampariello exploring darker and more introspective terrain, weaving resonant basslines, shifting atmospheres and understated melodic touches into compositions that gradually reveal their emotional weight.

At The B-side Molen delivers two tracks driven by fluid rhythms, intricate spooky melodies and mysterious textures with a constant sense of forward motion. Rather than contrasting one another, both artists meet at the same destination from different directions. Together, the four tracks form a cohesive statement that captures the spirit of contemporary underground house and techno: immersive and built to leave a lasting impression.

Following the success of Denshi Ongaku No Bigaku Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Cosmocities returns with the third instalment of its celebrated compilation series dedicated to the rich and ever-evolving world of Japanese electronic music. Compiled by label owner Matt Soulie, Denshi Ongaku No Bigaku Vol. 3 continues the journey through Japan’s diverse sonic landscape, bringing together pioneering artists, cult favourites and contemporary innovators across ambient, house, jazz-infused electronics and experimental sound design.

A carefully curated snapshot of Japanese electronic music past and present, Denshi Ongaku No Bigaku Vol. 3 showcases the depth, innovation and enduring influence of one of the world’s most inspiring musical cultures.

Since its inception, the Denshi Ongaku No Bigaku project has paid tribute to a musical culture that has profoundly influenced the Cosmocities vision. Where the first volume explored dreamy ambient textures and deep electronic moods, and the second shifted focus towards boogie-laden rhythms and jazz-fuelled dancefloor excursions, Volume 3 finds a natural balance between introspection and movement.

The compilation opens with Yosi Horikawa’s sublime “Bubbles”, an ambient masterpiece whose delicate organic textures gently set the tone. Chari Chari’s “Luna de Ritmos” follows with deep, ethereal house atmospherics before Force Of Nature’s hypnotic “Skyy High” guides listeners further into immersive territory.

The journey continues through the experimental electronics of XTAL’s “Skygazer” and the analogue warmth of Takuya Matsumoto’s “Jump Rope Music”, while regular Cosmocities contributor Yuu Udagawa delivers the sophisticated high-tech jazz house groove of “Little Secrets”.

On the second half of the collection, Kuniyuki’s remix of Slow Didi’s “Follow Me” brings rich jazz-inflected elegance, leading seamlessly into the futuristic techno-swing fusion of DJ Eiji Takehana featuring Yusuke Nakamura’s “Deep Track Jazz”. Tominori Hosoya’s “Summer Dreamers” adds a deeply emotional and dreamlike house moment before Azzurro’s “Just A Touch Of Love” shifts the focus firmly towards the dancefloor with a hypnotic late-night thumper.

Closing the compilation is AcidGelge’s “Fatality 4”, a beautifully spacey and atmospheric finale that leaves the listener suspended somewhere between the club, the cosmos and the imagination.

While producing the EP and shaping its titles, Disguised drew strong inspiration from the legendary and unforgettable first season of True Detective. On Four Small Escapes, he delivers four tracks built around subtle shifts and carefully placed moments of surprise, where intricate sound design and groove remain in constant dialogue. Opening with Smoke from Respawn, Marcal immediately establishes the record's character. To celebrate the track's continued success, Nervous Records releases the 'Da Fonk' Remix Pack today across all streaming platforms, alongside a limited edition three-vinyl release available during Mochakk's long-awaited New York City takeover from August 28, 29 and 30.

Spanning three parts, the remix pack brings together a wide range of artists, each offering a different take on one of house music's most enduring records of recent years.

Berlin’s Phil Berg, one of techno’s most distinctive rising names, debuts on Mutual Rytm with his ‘Dārin’ EP. First invited as the debut guest DJ for Mutual Rytm’s inaugural label night back in 2022, Berlin’s Phil Berg has maintained a close relationship with the imprint ever since. Known for his shadowy, immersive sound, Berg has carved out a singular position within the scene - equally respected for his high-impact DJ sets, his improvisational live performances, and a production style defined by clarity, tension, and a deeply recognisable sonic identity. While his live shows remain a vital part of his artistic DNA, often shaping the raw ideas that later evolve in the studio, his work extends far beyond the club floor, marking him out as a fully formed and increasingly essential voice in contemporary techno. That connection between stage and studio is fully realised on ‘Dārin’, where Berg delivers a darker, more driving statement for his Mutual Rytm debut, with the title track already becoming a standout in the sets of label founder SHDW. The title cut opens the EP with great urgency, as flaming drums and machine-gun synths are fired across the night sky, with sensuous whispers and sonar pulses adding the pull of the groove. Next, ‘Tempest’ brings big, banging hits, nailing down the kicks while rising tension appears through the backlit synths and distant bass rumbles. ‘Tanoo’ releases the pressure with a more luminous synth line that locks you in a trance as linear drums race on, while ‘Mephisto’ keeps you on edge with twitchy motifs and a burrowing bassline that drills down deep into a moody underworld. Anchored in a heavy groove that never loosens its grip, Crosstown Rebels’ latest release, ‘Dirty Dancing’, brings together two Dutch artists whose ideas have been shaped by a shared creative language built over time. Amsterdam’s Franc Fala continues to build on what has been a rapid rise onto the global house circuit, with a run of notable releases coupled with a growing touring schedule, ensuring his records and name have been the talk of the town for many. Alongside him, regular collaborator, fellow countryman and close friend Benja has also ensured his approach to music has also landed with impact, leaning on energy and atmosphere to shape records designed to resonate beyond the dancefl oor. Here, the pair reunite for their biggest collaboration to date as they make their debut outing on Damian Lazarus’s revered imprint with a record crafted for the peak hours.

Everything revolves around a vocal hook that doesn’t sit in the background; it emerges to take over the track, keeping listeners locked into the groove beneath. Rather than pushing in obvious directions, it circles and tunnels deeper, drawing listeners in until it becomes the only thing that matters. On remix duties, Brazilian DJ/producer Malive delivers two contrasting interpretations that take command of the B-side. Boston’s Vermillion Sun Records has returned with its second offering, featuring Gummies Records boss and Steep co-founder Cutty (aka Cutwoes). As a child, Cutty was allergic to most common pets, prompting him to explore the world of amphibians, mainly…frogs. Each night as he dozed, his room was filled with the chirping of his slinking brothers and sisters. He has been immersed in sound ever since. Since traversing the deepest ravines of local music as a clubber, DJ, producer, label head and promoter, his productions, like his DJ sets, consistently bring unexpected twists and turns. Bouncy and psychedelic techy house goodness, beautiful ambient moments, downtempo groovers in the perfect time and place, breaks to make you dance and shake. VSR 002 encapsulates Cutty’s whole approach, delivering propulsive and tasteful tech house with ambient, dubby, tribal, and progressive influences.

Lillies in October sets the stage, book ended by gorgeous ambient waves before breaking into rolling tribal infused grooves. The Machine God delivers psychedelic wonk and circumstance providing the tech to soundtrack your deviousness. Bogota's finest producer returns with his second EP on GAMM...

Across three tracks, Felipe delivers a musical journey ranging from deep organic house to various shades of Latin American dance rhythms.
The EP opens with 'If You Get Lonely', a bumpy deep house affair featuring live bass, psychedelic synths, and vocals from Felipe himself.
On the flip side, we get two Latino jams: 'African Carter' bumps along a mid1tempo Latin groove with lovely salsa vocals, while 'Tucosa' seamlessly blends Latin soul with classic 4/4 rhythms.

The recordings on Volume II were captured in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 18, 2020. Guided as much by human instinct as by musical intention, the ensemble moved through the evening with a shared sensitivity…listening, responding, and trusting the moment as it unfolded. Though Morten McCoy admits to having felt quite ill that evening, nothing in the music suggests restraint. Instead, what remains is a vivid, playful exchange, where McCoy and Johannes Wamberg carry both Part I and Part II as a flowing conversation, speaking through sound rather than words.

Part I begins abruptly, almost throwing the listener back in time to the exact moment the improvisation was born. Jonathan Bremer steps to the forefront, providing a solid, melodic bassline as Kristoffer and Eliel, perfectly in sync, lay down a steady foundation for whichever voice chooses to rise above the rhythm.

This is also one of the few I Am An Instrument recordings to feature two guitarists. Johannes Wamberg leads the way, shaping the harmonic direction, while Steven Jess Borth II adds subtle rhythmic textures through muted palm work, deepening the groove without ever stepping into the foreground.

Part II unfolds with Morten McCoy on his Moog One, delivering a beautiful, expansive solo. Using a carefully chosen patch, the sound pulses through the rhythm, moving with the groove rather than above it, riding the beat like a wave through the ocean.
Shaped by trust, presence, and collective improvisation, Volume II captures a group deeply attuned to one another, allowing intuition and momentum to guide the unfolding form.

Volume III was recorded in Copenhagen on March 5, 2020. Little did anyone know that only days later, the world would be placed on pause for years. Captured just before that moment of global stillness, this session carries a heightened sense of presence, a final gathering before silence reshaped everything. Recorded in a space more commonly associated with a club atmosphere, the music draws on a different kind of energy and immediacy. With Eliel Lazo unable to attend, the group invited Victor Dybbroe of Girls In Airports to join on percussion, subtly reshaping the ensemble while preserving its core spirit. Part I opens with Steven Jess Borth II calling out on tenor saxophone, answered by Morten McCoy on Wurlitzer electric piano. The piece gradually unfolds into a meditative groove, patient and expansive, carrying the listener through an eight-minute journey of layered rhythm and restraint.

Part II begins with Jonathan Bremer on stand up bass, slowly joined by the rest of the ensemble as each voice enters with intention. Midway through, an unexpected vocal melody from Borth emerges, drenched in reverb and delay, later reappearing as a melodic line on the tenor saxophone.

Part III is led by Morten McCoy on Wurlitzer electric piano. His signature melodic language sets the direction, guiding the ensemble while leaving ample space for the music to breathe and evolve through collective improvisation. Reprise returns to the closing moments of Part II, its title reflecting its origin. The familiar groove reappears, transformed into a distinctly Jamaican-influenced rhythm, over which Borth delivers a final tenor saxophone solo, bringing the conversation to rest.
