Having established himself as a guitar slinging matinee idol fronting Welsh riot starters Trampolene and riding shotgun in Peter Doherty’s band the Puta Madres, Jack Jones releases his debut solo album ‘Jack Jones’. For this album Jack Jones has put away his guitar and embraced a fresh and highly contemporary sound in which to couch his hard-hitting state of the nation poems of existential fear and loathing. His lyrics tackle many of today’s burning issues: mental health, drug addiction, mortality, and the tortuous demands of technology. There’s also joy and hope in there. A year after the release of the acclaimed Bright Magus album, the first remixes of the project dedicated to Miles Davis' electric turn in the 70s are out. The Bright Magus 'Super' Team, a sort of super group of musicians from the Italian alternative indie scene, has received unanimous acclaim from European critics and this positive wave has also struck many musicians and producers in the industry, including Luca LTJ Xperience Trevisi and Luca Dj Rocca Roccatagliati
who in this single remix respectively the title track of the album Jungle Cover, As Way (with Enrico Gabrielli from Calibro 35 as a super guest) and Selim/Miles, the most Davisian track of the project. Nu Fusion could be a new musical genre term suitable for this unusual sound that comes from it. Dance, Funk and Fusion mixed together.

The common thread throughout the album is the sitar, an instrument that he learned in the traditional way from various sitar masters in India. Since 2017 he has been trained by the world-famous Anoushka Shankar. In every song he tries to approach this unique instrument in a different way.


With this album he builds a bridge between his love for Indian music and his roots in Western genres such as electronic, jazz and rock music. On the album guest musicians from all over the world are playing, such as Ravichandra Kulur from India (Anoushka/Ravi Shankar, John McLaughlin, Aka Moon,..), Benny Bettane (Australia/handpan) & Belgian friends like Roland van Campenhout, Tim Vanhamel and Stef Kamil Carlens.

On January 19, 2024, the legendary post-punk band De Brassers played their farewell concert in a completely sold-out Brussels Ancienne Belgique. It was a very memorable evening with guest appearances by Sietse Willems (Meltheads) and Stijn Meuris.
In short, a unique and historic concert now released on vinyl and CD by Antler, the label that helped found the birth of Belgian post-punk and cold wave. A release not to be missed, both for those who attended that evening and for those who could not get tickets
at the time and can now enjoy it thanks to this album.

The brand new album "Pacific Voyage" by Nautilus from Tokyo is a breezy summertime soundtrack which combines sunny Yacht Rock with a touch of cool 80s City Pop.

The Japanese Jazzfusion trio reinterpretates stone cold classics from this era in their typical signature way of playing.

Songs like the heavy sampled "What You Won't Do For Love" by Bobby Caldwell and Toto's "Georgy Porgy" get a completely new coat of paint and fresh interpretation translated into now and tomorrow.

Dylan Chambers is a vintage pop/R&B/soul singer, songwriter and guitar player from Arlington, TX. After graduating high school, Dylan got accepted to the Berklee College of Music in Boston but ended up moving to LA to work on his music career. He has since shared the stage and worked with numerous artists such as Haley Reinhart, Brett Young, Sabrina Carpenter, Gavin DeGraw, Dave Koz, Three Dog Night, etc. and toured around the country with ABC's hit television show "Dancing With The Stars" as a featured singer/guitarist on their 2014-15 National Winter Tour. For the past five years, Dylan has traveled around the world as a guest artist aboard the "Dave Koz and Friends" Live at Sea Jazz Cruise. As a songwriter, Dylan co-wrote jazz legend Herb Alpert's first single "Skinny Dip" off of his album, "Slow Down Turbo" for Indonesian rapper Rich Brian as well as country star, Brett Young's "Kiss by Kiss". Live TV appearances include the Radio Disney Music Awards, Access Hollywood, Hallmark's Home and Family, and The Today Show.
Since 2020, he has released over a dozen singles as a solo artist which he co-produced with longtime friend and musical collaborator, Stefan Lit (Lil Nas X, One Direction, Andy Grammer). Throughout the years, he has shared the stage with Flatland Cavalry, Charley Crockett, Molly Tuttle, Haley Reinhart, Sabrina Carpenter, Delvon Lamar Organ Trio, and Prep. David Fricke In upstate New York, deep in the seam between the Catskills mountains and the Hudson Valley, a richly swelling, spellbound sound emerges, eddying and flowing like the local Esopus Creek, or in the slipstream of the grander Hudson river, carrying the flotsam and jetsam of our hopes, dreams, fears. Spiritually, literally, psycho-geographically: where else does Mercury Rev’s ninth album Born Horses spring from? Aki is an emerging jazz collective led by drummer Anke Verslype. The core of the group consists of guitarist Willem Heylen, bassist Ruben De Maesschalck and harpist Marjolein Vernimmen. They perform atmospheric jazz with at its base uncomplicated, restrained melodies whose boundaries are pushed during improvisations.

With two previous EPs, "Warm Days" and "Niobe," aki has already impressed. In the fall of 2022, they surprised their audience with the debut of their first full-length album,

titled "Nader," released under W.E.R.F. records. This album featured an exciting collaboration with Joachim Badenhorst on clarinet, who added a new dimension to their sound.

For theirlatest album and upcoming tour, aki once again joins forces with Joachim Badenhorst and asked Niels Van Heertum (euphonium) as a guest. This expansion enriches the color palette of their music and brings out a new depth. Together they create a unique sound that takes listeners on a journey of warmth and melancholy, somewhere between cinematic landscapes, jazz and minimalism.

Our two British protagonists are Sean Dickson, a former indie star who reinvented himself as an electronic adventurist - musician, DJ, producer – whose last album Ft. featured a stellar line-up of guest vocalists, including Yoko Ono, Fred Schneider (B- 52’s), Alan Vega, Crystal Waters (fronting ‘Testify’, which topped the US Billboard dance chart) and David McAlmont - the last, a thrilling singing sensation with an illustrious history, from indie-soul pioneers Thieves and the legendary McAlmont & Butler to purer soul and jazz recordings and a striking collaboration with minimalist composer Michael Nyman.

Raw drums, bass, vintage organs and synths are utilised to brutal effect via 7 epic songs that deliver disco disquietude, krautrock, oscillating horror soundtracks and beyond.

The band has had a difficult birth. They got together, did two shows (one with Gruff Rhys), then pandemic struck, leaving them far apart. They got back together, then Fred broke his back in an accident. When they finally reconvened, they recorded, then their other musical projects took over (eg Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers, The Third Sound). The album and live plans were then delayed by more broken limbs. Now fully healed they are poised to heal you back in gratitude, at their soon to be announced in-person performances.

Empty Empty is Cinema Paradiso's 3rd album. Cinema Paradiso functions as a trio without a leader, consisting of Kurt Van Herck (Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Dizzie Gillespie Big Band, Bert Joris Quartet), Eric Thielemans (A Snare is a Bell, EARR, Talking About the Weather) and Willem Heylen (KRAKk, Aki, Sargam).

After his guest contributions on several tracks during the recording sessions that resulted in the compilation of the first two albums (Volume I and Volume II), Jozef Dumoulin (Lidlboj, The Red Hill Orchestra, True Company) was involved in the entire creation and recording process of Empty Empty.

Now focusing on original compositions (along with some Indian chants and a piece by Claude Debussy), this album also distinguishes itself from the previous two albums by presenting a new sonic landscape. Blending the rich timbres and textures of both the acoustic and electric sonic worlds of the musicians, we were looking to get a strong, direct, full sound that still retains enough detail and acoustic warmth.

The album was recorded and mixed by Joris Caluwaerts (Stuff) at his Finster Studio in Antwerp.
