New on the "WANIA mk" series is a double A-side supersonic 12", with two tracks previously circulating as dubplate only. "Bless Up" by Salik (who co-runs Going Good, and of WANIA fame) is simply a deep and controlled Dubstep-goes-Breakbeat knockout. With a prominently loud cut, it carries classic sonics of atmospheric Jungle/D'n'B while running rhythmicallyreduced towards the mid-side Jungle-styled Breakbeat drop. L.A. 2000 & DJ Sotofett continue their collaboration from WANIA mk1 and mk2 with a Dub Techno Stepper. Here, clinically adjusted delays and short reverb support the ultra-reduced rhythm and harmonically gritty stabs, all with just enough drive to introduce the long-awaited sub-bass as a well-timed surprise. THIS 12" IS CUT WITH LOUD VOLUME FOR EXCELLENT CLUB USE!

Composed by Forever Pavot for the film *L'Engloutie*, this soundtrack for Louise Hemon's film reveals a more intimate and cinematic side of Forever Pavot's universe.
Between hypnotic melodies, ethereal Morricone-esque choirs, delicate orchestrations, and psychedelic textures, these tracks accompany the images with a unique elegance. Both contemplative and mysterious, this music extends the film's enigmatic charm far beyond the screen.
Archimboldos have clawed their way out of the starcaves of their primordial past and into the tranquil light of a coral garden on their third full length album, Crusta Arcana, a gumbo stewpot of transcendent electronica suffused with tribal rhythms and liquid ambience. Across a stereo field smeared with tolling bells, post-industrial folk percussion, and tinkling keys, Archimboldos soundtrack a science fictional journey, not into the depths of space, but deep beneath the waves.
In the past the Chilean duo of Nicolás Carcavilla and Felipe Crocco have described their music as “liminal shrimp folk.” Here they continue this strange exploration when they visit the court of the prawns, producing stately electronic chamber orchestrations. Perhaps these are the frequencies used for ritual dream initiation into the mystery schools of drowned Atlantis. Weaving an ancient sacred science, Archimboldos take listeners on a mystic vovage into their singular crustacean mythology, the crusta of their hidden arcana.
Archimbolodos are masters of conjoining cyclonic and centrifugal lines of electricity into spellbinding incantations. These deep-sea transmissions envelope the listener into aquamarine forcefields that are as hallucinatory as they are hypnotic. Navigating these strange fantasias could lead one to getting lost at sea, but the work is buoyed by the somnolent melodies of lonely harpsichords and swelling synth pads whose sustained tones reach towards distant shores. Sailing across a vast expanse of oceanic harmonies and percolating percussion, these pieces are as precise as the hand of a sailor on the rudder, moving with the tide.
Casting their net wide across eight pieces, Archimboldos have made a big catch. From the emotive electronic counterpoint found on “Bursting Armor” to the blocks of seaweed tangled sonic sculpture trawled up from the ocean floor on “Aphelion IX.” Other songs are like samples of biological ambience collected from luminous tide pools: resplendent tones placed into a Petri dish of sound, swirled, cultured and fermented until it undulates with the rhythmic movement of microscopic lifeforms. Alternating between rippling minimalist sonority and pounding, progressive, synth-heavy entrancement, Crusta Arcana charts its own idiosyncratic itinerary of instrumental invention.
All the while light is down streaming from the heavens to pierce the waters, here calm, there choppy. The intrepid musical captains commanding Archimboldos have laid a course for new archipelagos of the imagination, guided by heavenly constellations.

For our second vinyl release, the idea was to bring together two artists from the same scene with strong and distinctive identities, and create a project where their individual worlds can coexist. Beyond featuring a solo track from each artist, we wanted them to collaborate and explore a shared territory that draws from their respective influences while pushing towards something new.

You have to wonder why Railcard took so long to be born: their debut album feels like it should have been in your collection for years.
But it wasn’t until 2025 that Rachel Love (Dolly Mixture), Ian Button and Peter Momtchiloff (both Heavenly) met at a gig, realised that they were exactly the same age, and decided that this was an excellent reason to form a new band. The shared history, the same pop references, the parallel lives… Railcard had to happen, and there was no time to lose. Two Steps At A Time - the album title and theme song - express exactly how quickly Railcard have worked since then - jumping over pavement cracks and whistling past graveyards to get these songs written, recorded and released while they are still sweet and fresh.
The band released three digital EPs in early 2026, which were then gathered onto a CD and released by Skep Wax and Slumberland. They sold out very quickly. The critical response to a mail-order-only CD was far greater than anyone expected.
Railcard made their live debut in December 2025 and had by then recruited their fourth member: Allison Thomson (Trash Can Sinatras, The Love Band), whose flawless trumpet and swirly keyboard-playing complete the Railcard sound, allowing the band to fulfil the significant ambition and range of the songs, which are mostly co-written and often co-sung by Love and Button. “Flannelette” and “Sunday Sun”, delicate and swoony, could almost be Slapp Happy at their most Bacharach. “Foxy”, mysterious and charming, has more than a hint of Kate Bush December magic. The raucous duet “I’m A Disaster” is The Kinks meets deadpan Shangri-Las. The title track could have been an alternative theme tune for Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads. “Runaround” is like a school choir doing The Raincoats. “Unstable Neighbour” is mesmerising and insistent: it might make you think of Stereolab; we might imagine an indiepop Hawkwind. Peter Momtchiloff also contributes two wonderful songs on the album: the fragile and hallucinatory “Paper Thin” and the Love-meets-Undertones rush of “Hillman Minx”.
As with the first EPs, Railcard enlisted the sonic services of Medway psych expert Allan Crockford (of The Prisoners, James Taylor Quartet and many more) who has delivered mixes that pump with vintage valve energy and reverby depth.
Railcard have a string of UK dates through the summer and Autumn.
Dublin-born, thirty years an immigrant. That's the spine of henryohenry's debut, Apocrypha, not as a concept but as a condition. He's spent three decades in the United States working in the trades, absorbing the country's mythologies and building what he calls "an idiosyncratic American language" out of them, something closer to Whitman's vision than what he found. He is, by his own account, "formally and informally not a musician" — all but two of the songs were written on a $6 charity-shop guitar with a repaired headstock and strings that distorted unpredictably. It doesn't appear on the record. Produced by filmmaker Rick Alverson, the album is anchored by guitarist Eamon O'Leary and his son Ned Steves, recording together for the first time, without rehearsal. Erik Hall mixed and contributed overdubs; Emilie Rex of Lean Year lends harmonies to three songs; poet Callie Garnett appears on another. Album standout "There" captures something harder to name: how powerful feelings drive you to the page, and how the thing you make can outlast the feelings that made it. "It feels like a triumph over something," he says, "even if you're a bit embarrassed by some of the sentiment."
Apocrypha arrives as a debut but carries the patience of a life lived in full. For fans of John Cale, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen.
Chelsea Wolfe enters a new era with The Dark, forged in newfound sobriety and deep self-reckoning. Lead single "Cold" is the album's emotional doorway: the ache of being in relationship yet feeling utterly alone, of loving someone and still knowing they are toxic for you. It's about letting go of the person, the path, and the version of yourself that kept returning to the same wound — not dramatic escape, but the quiet terror of finally saying it plainly: "I'm letting you go."

Musique Domestique marks the debut full-length from French duo Adiciatz, a project that emerges from the shared musical curiosity of Manon Nogier and Guillaume Lespinasse. Living near Lyon and making music together since before the pandemic, the pair developed their sound during lockdown improvisations at home — a creative process that quickly revealed a unique musical chemistry rooted as much in folk tradition as in experimental exploration.
Drawing on a wide palette of influences — from Occitan poetry, delicate folk to drone and spontaneous sound exploration — Adiciatz makes music that feels both intimate and expansive. Nogier’s voice and amplified taisho koto weave through Lespinasse’s keyboards, machines and percussive touches, forming a sonic world where ritualistic soft folk melodies coexist with subtle electronic textures.
Their live performances, including an appearance at the Meakusma Festival, where their set blurred the line between concert and séance, have already shown how this blend comes to life in front of audiences, with hypnotic vocals, spiralling chords and slow, trance-like rhythms inviting listeners into a space that is both meditative and evocative.
On Musique Domestique, those live-rooted sensibilities are distilled into recorded form. The album moves fluidly between rich pastoral folk and instrumental meanderings. Musique Domestique announces Adiciatz as a compelling new voice at the intersection of folk, experimental and electronic music crafted with care and intuition.
"Based in Thiers (63), Ernest Bergez, also known as Sourdure, has been walking a tightrope for the past ten years, combining a spirit of experimentation with a personal, handcrafted approach to traditional music. Affirming and transfiguring the ""Sourdure-esque"" aesthetic, Outredore unfolds a surprising array of discoveries in Occitan and French: hallucinatory laments, oblique rhapsodies, and carnivalesque odes.
A generous and respectful invitation to build unexpected bridges between disparate sonic worlds, the album extrapolates the modal vocabulary specific to traditional Occitan music, blending it with stylistic elements from around the Mediterranean. Carried by a voice more raw than ever and caught in the ebb and flow of a troubled era, Outredore's songs explore the relationship between the personal and the political.
Vulnerable, faltering and visceral, Outredore evokes a nova cançon occitana that has traded folk guitars for electronic machinery."
Two years after his breakthrough debut Drifter established him as one of the most authentic new voices in modern blues, Jovin Webb returns with Son of a Sinner, a raw and powerful follow-up on Blind Pig Records. Produced once again by multi-Grammy winner Tom Hambridge and recorded in Nashville, the 11-track collection finds the Baton Rouge native digging deeper into his Southern roots, where swampy blues, gospel fire, and gritty Southern rock collide. Across songs of temptation, consequence, and hard-won redemption, Webb confronts his past, owns his vices, and reaches for salvation even when he knows he might fall short—capturing the tension between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Son of a Sinner is Jovin Webb at his most revealing: blues music that doesn’t just tell the stories, but lives them.
Following the “immaculate and eternal soul” (The Guardian) of The Indications’ 2019 album, American Love Call, Private Space unlocks the door to a wider range of sounds, boldly launching the band into a world of synthy modern soul and disco beats dotted with strings. Anchored by the high-low harmonies of Aaron Frazer (drums/vocals) and Durand Jones (vocals), and rounded out by Blake Rhein (guitar), Steve Okonski (keys), and Mike Montgomery (bass), The Indications are true masters at melding revival sounds with a modern attitude. The ten tracks across Private Space provide for both an escapist fantasy and a much-needed recentering after a tumultuous 2020.In conjunction with today’s announcement, they share Private Space’s lead single/video “Witchoo.” Reflective of the track’s vibrant, playful energy, the Weird Life-directed video features the five band members and close friends, transitioning from a live performance to an electric backstage soirée.“At the end of the day, I just want people to close their eyes and forget where they are. Just the way a Stevie Wonder album does for me,” says Jones. Developed after being apart for much of the year, Private Space is creatively explosive and delights in upending expectations. Throughout, The Indications highlight a collective resiliency – as well as the power of a good song to be a light in the darkness. From an Indiana basement (where the band recorded their 2016 self-titled debut LP as college students), The Indications have catapulted into the soul limelight and an international stage. Following their sophomore album American Love Call — a dreamy but pensive record of big string arrangements and sweet soul stylings — The Indications became revered by vintage music fans, the lowrider community and late-night television.

Originally released in 1971, "Satori" is Flower Travellin' Band's groundbreaking masterpiece and one of the most visionary albums of the early heavy rock era. It fused hard rock, psychedelia, progressive music and Traditional Eastern influences into a sound unlike anything heard before. Originally released in 1971, "Satori" is Flower Travellin' Band's groundbreaking masterpiece and one of the most visionary albums of the early heavy rock era. It fused hard rock, psychedelia, progressive music and traditional Eastern influences into a sound unlike anything heard before. Unlike many rock albums of the era, "Satori" is structured as a continuous musical journey, with its five tracks presented as interconnected movements rather than conventional songs. The band's powerful rhythm section, extended guitar passages, and the commanding vocals of Joe Yamanaka create an atmosphere that feels both intense and hypnotic. Recorded during a period when Japanese rock was developing its own identity, "Satori" drew inspiration from Western hard rock and psychedelia while incorporating a unique sense of space, improvisation, and spiritual exploration. Over the decades, the album has gained international recognition among collectors, musicians, and fans of vintage heavy rock, often cited as an overlooked classic that anticipated elements of later hard rock, stoner rock, and heavy metal. Created for an international audience and revered by generations of musicians and collectors, more than fifty years after its release, "Satori" remains as one of the most influential and forward-thinking records in Japanese rock history. LP includes insert.
After enjoying two major hits with the singles “Maybellene” and “Roll Over Beethoven” in 1955 and 1956, it was not until May of 1957 that Chuck Berry released his debut studio album and masterpiece, After School Session. The second album ever released on the legendary Chess Records, After School Session offered a new sound to audiences, nodding to teenagers with its title and including a mix of “rockers” that set the blueprint for the rise of rock ‘n’ roll. Includes “School Day (Ring Ring Goes The Bell),” “Brown Eyed Handsome Man,” and “Too Much Monkey Business.” Bring home the sound of America’s greatest blues label in high fidelity with the Chess Records Acoustic Sounds Series. "The 1969 self-titled album by Koko Taylor cemented her place as Chicago’s undisputed Queen of the Blues. Scouted by Chess Records house bassist and producer Willie Dixon at Chicago’s legendary Sylvio’s Lounge, Dixon provided his new protégé with “Wang Dang Doodle,” a song that would sell more than a million copies and become her signature tune. Drawing heavily from her recent run of hit 45s, Koko Taylorfeatures, in addition to “Wang Dang Doodle,” Dixon-penned classics including “Twenty-Nine Ways (To My Baby's Door)” and “Yes, It’s Good for You,” alongside Taylor’s own “Nitty Gritty,” highlighted by Johnny Shines’ poignant slide guitar. Koko Taylor remains a cornerstone of Chicago electric blues.

Released in 1976 on ABC Records, Seed Of Memory is Terry Reid's fourth studio album and marks a significant shift in his musical direction - This 180g vinyl re-issue faithfully replicates the original UK pressing including 4- page lyric insert Produced by Graham Nash, the album was recorded in California after Reid had relocated from Britain, and reflects the influence of the West Coast singer-songwriter scene while retaining elements of rock, blues, folk and soul. All eight songs were written by Reid, whose expressive vocals and guitar work remain central throughout. The recordings are enhanced by contributions from respected musicians including David Lindley on guitar and violin, Ben Keith and Al Perkins on pedal steel, and Graham Nash on harmony vocals. Lyrically, the album explores themes of reflection, spirituality, personal growth and social awareness, with songs such as "Brave Awakening" drawing on Reid's family connections to the mining industry. The relaxed arrangements contrast with the heavier sound of some of his earlier recordings, creating a more atmospheric and melodic style.
The third release on Uprising pairs a sax-driven rockabilly thumper with one of the coolest dance craze records of the mid-60s. ‘Red Hot Car’ was Bobby Verne’s only recording and came out on the tiny Californian Doc Holiday label in 1962. Judging by the current price and collector demand for an original copy only a small quantity were pressed. This is a powerhouse of a tune that has been filling dancefloors across the globe for some time now.
As for the flip, in 1965, Buddy Wayne added self-penned lyrics to Gary Paxton’s rendition of the James Bond theme. Released on the Big Ben label – that only put out four records − it sat unwanted for decades. Then the rockabilly scene picked up on it in a big way when they discovered that it was the perfect stroller. This was closely followed by the northern soul and mod scenes. Today, it is at last crossing over to a more mainstream audience.
"Originally released in 1979 on Sly & Robbie's Taxi label, this album was Black Uhuru's second LP. Recorded at Channel One it set forth a new sound in recorded music technology. The songs blend into dub versions and the mixing is simply stunning. The track Shine Eye Gal also features guitarist Keith Richards"
(but hey, nobody's perfect).
"Hear the meticulous song writing of Michael Rose, joined by Puma Jones & Duckie Simpson, to complete the vocal line-up.
Sly & Robbie and the Taxi Gang created a sublime sonic masterpiece at Channel One studio in Jamaica. They were at their absolute peak of their powers, before being launched as global superstars with Grace Jones.
Black Uhuru went on to be an extremely popular live outfit, touring endlessly around the world, breaking down barriers and making new inroads to territories previously unknown to Jamaican artists.
This Classic reissue is a must for all reggae collectors."

Self-produced in a Tokyo studio, the odyssey-like album unfolds with an otherworldly beauty achieved with guests from former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman to Japanese jazz pianist Hiromi. OurHome echoes all the transcendence and serenity that Rodrigo y Gabriela have routinely experienced in their journeys to Japan.

Celebrating the album’s 30th anniversary, this reissue includes the original record + a collection of rarities and unreleased cuts (download only), continuing Fire Records in-depth series of reissues from the legendary band.
‘Car Button Cloth' is an extraordinary affair of musical and emotional extremes, a soundscape spanning “the most beautiful piano-led mourning in the history of the broken heart” that switches into perky jangle-pop for fleeting moments and contains the ultimate self-deprecating classic ‘The Outdoor Type’, penned by Smudge cohort Tom Morgan, as well as a cover of the bluegrass standard ‘Knoxville Girl’ and ‘If I Could Talk I’d Tell You’ co-written with The Vaselines’ Eugene Kelly. All bases are covered.

Four years after Les Mystères de Lorient, Il Est Vilaine returns with Best Service, a rich and cosmopolitan album that broadens horizons in a bleak era.
Twelve tracks and interludes crafted with the aesthetic the duo has been refining since its inception: a blend of analog electronics, techno, vintage rock, and synth-pop.
Tailor-made atmospheres, oscillating between raw energy, groove, and dark romanticism, provide perfect spaces for unexpected guests.
Enthält Live-Versionen der Hit-Singles »New Song«, »What Is Love?«, »Hide And Seek«, »Pearl In The Shell« und »Like To Get To Know You Well« sowie Howards bisher unveröffentlichte Version des Weihnachtsklassikers »Ding Dong Merrily On High«, gesungen zum Backbeat seiner Hit-Single »New Song«.
Love Big Dummy emerged as the stray creation of Jonathan Stodle (Spite Fug, HEVN III) and Kjetil Skaro (Crispy Carrot). Converging with rhythm section Halvor Dokke and Tore Paulsen, the freewheeling venture soon ripened into its own tantalizing entity. Informed by shoegaze, folk, psychedelic rock and alumni indie, their palette reaches deep into decades past while carrying a riveting sense of urgency and presence. Their melodic craftsmanship and innate ingenuity evoke the sound of life-affirming melancholy. Their self-titled debut was recorded in the cold, dim bunkers of Boksen in Oslo, with noise-whiz Morten Minothi Kristiansen (Kennel/Monomort) piloting the gearship. It"s a San Francisco breeze across the slushed northern pavements.
