Second VA for ISSUES is a limited copy and special edition yellow vinyl and its big one as all the tracks included on the vinyl are the top selling tracks of the past few months.

First track on the A side is by Detlef. “Back2back” is simple but effective, with a strong kick, subby bassline, technical effects and a massive captivating vocal in the breakdown, creating tension using effects that leads to a massive drop. On the same side Just Jake’s “Sphinx” has a unique Ancient Egyptian vibe, with a funky Sitar and traditional Arabian singing driving the breakdowns, the track has a quick thumping, wobbly bass line groove with solid percussion.

On the B side there is Nicola d’Angella’s “Kill vibe” which is a dancefloor weapon with a quick bass that creates a unique groove and a massive breakdown with full vocals. On the same side there is also Chicks Luv Us with their popular track “Look so fun” which is extremely groovy and catchy with a big bassline and vocals that create a playful groove.

On the A side we find George Smeddles with hard hitting house track “FIX”, from trippy and sexy vocals to smooth cut baselines. Second track by Caal & Baum “I Wish”, a playful groove, solid bassline, robotised vocals and a powerful breakdown.

On the B Side Detlef is on remix duties for Chicks Luv Us “Other Dimension’ with a bass driven remix, combined with clever effects, chopped vocals and a solid breakdown that will bring dancefloors to life and last but not least we have Brown Vox’s “Do It Ma Way”. A track with smooth elements, bouncy beats, subby basslines, a massive breakdown with vocals and a quick drop that surprises everyone before it kicks in.

Next release on the label is a collaboration between ISSUES x Woodland studios who run a competition with more than 100 entries on remix duties for Detlef’s “Dub Clap” and Campbell Fryer’s “MOODY”. Honcho of Woodlands Iglesias delivered a strong remix of Dub Clap with heavy basslines, rolling beats and the vocals slightly pitched to create a darker vibe. RN ISMO remix of Dub Clap was definitely close to the sound of ISSUES with a driving bassline, minimal beats, quick drops and a playful vocal breakdown.

On Campbell Fryer’s MOODY the first remixer is Woody who delivered a super groovy remix with a funky bassline, straight beat with swing hihats and atmospheres at the background merging nicely with the beats, using the riff in a different and extra playful way that creates an amazing breakdown. The last remixer for MOODY is Shuski who delivered a housy version of the track. Straight funky beats with a big driving bassline, synth stabs and arpeggios through out the track and some wicked breakdowns with clever fills before the track kicks back in.

With music from a mix of talented producers, ISSUES is about to release their first ever VA vinyl only limited edition compilation. Each quarter there will be a VA which will contain the best selling tracks of each release and it will also be a way to showcase the sound of the label and promote the artists.

On the A side artists there is Joseph Edmund “It’s ON” track which has Josephs trademark sound with trippy breakdowns, strong buildups and heavy basslines and also Spanish producer Alvaro Am “Activate” reflecting his new renovate sound, offering an infectious vocal hook and a heavy bassline.

Side B includes Kabbina’s “Amnesia” which effectively reflects the trio’s unique style. Using an unmistakable synth shot, prolific vocal and a wobbly bass line that complete the dynamic track and Campbell Fryer’s “Moody” which is a unique groovy tech house track that has appeared in many sets including Michael Bibi, Detlef, Steve Lawler to name a few.

Detlef celebrates the launch of his new label “Issues” with a quintessential EP titled “ Dub Clap”. Known for his simplicity and effectiveness, Detlef delivers the same vibe to this release. “Dub Clap” is a groovy track with a sub bassline, a great catchy vocal and a clever arrangement that gives maximum energy to the track. Title “Say Something” is a special groove made by chopped vocals and subby basslines thats creating a driving groove. Also included in the package is “Dub Clap tool” which created with chopped vocals and grooved out tops that Dj’s could use as part of their dj sets.

Detlef is a DJ and producer of the highest order, and has garnered a reputation as one of the most exciting names in the underground scene. The artist has rapidly established himself as one the leading names in the industry, releasing and remixing with well respected labels including Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars, Moon Harbour, and Relief. Detlef is moving towards the next chapter of his exciting career.
