Janefondas’ new release “French love” is the perfect dancefloor weapon for this year’s summer season. This disco-house tune is driven by optimistic, uplifting vibes and funky guitar riffs. We are starting the year 2016 with several artists. On the A-side of the forTunea Cookies EP we feature the Viennese-Innsbruckian combo JANEFONDAS. Since 5 years they are touring around the country and are wellknown for their mixture of current house tunes and disco classics. In this release they are presenting their newest composition, called - Lovely Secret . A great tool that definitely finds its way in the recordbags and usbs of a house dj. The B-side starts with KLAUS BENEDEK. - Spanked In The Disco sounds at first like your typical 1990s filterhouse. But in the end it builds up to a warm and breathtaking melancholic climax that leaves you with a smile. The third track in the bunch by SCHAMPUS GHOST & KAIROBOY is literally a balls to the walls - Loveletter to disco music. This track will come out only on vinyl. And like the previous releases on forTunea, there will be no repress. So first come, first serve!

The Viennese label forTunea finishes 2017 with another rendition of their forTunea Cookies recipe. The ingridients on the A-side were added by Klaus Benedek and the newest member of the forTunea bunch, Lukas Poellauer. - Splattered is another typical melancholic KB trip. A chopped hookline, heavy reverbed synths and a vocoder are the signature features in this track. Lukas delivers us on the other hand his interpretation of - Underground house music with Chicago and UK influences. The B-side gets a little spicier. Jakobin & Peletronic serve with - Morning Glory some funky seeds on the plate. Last but not least the Schampus Ghost teams up with Anemona to the baking session. What they are adding to the cookies What they are adding to the cookies Well, it is certanly not sugar. ;-) It is for the better not to unveil the secret ingridient. But lets just say, their tune has some cool disco-techy vibes innit. All in all an enjoyable treat

One of the key figures in the Austrian house scene is definitely Roman Rauch. The MPC wizard has released quality tracks on cult labels like Philpot, klamauk, Quintessentials, Dirt Crew and Faces Records during this decade.
After 3 remixes and a collaboration with Precious K as Twinpeaks, he will return this autumn on the Viennese based imprint fortunea with a 5 track ep, called Blackout.
The A-side features the title track and a remix by New York’s Let’s Play House chief Jacques Renault. Roman delivers here his typical signature sound of crackling, dustfilled funk and r&b samples in combination with weighty rhythm sections. Jacques’ take is from it’s mood similar. But what stands out here is the addition of congas and a heavy compressed and funky bassline, that puts the dancefloor into a tribal gathering.
The B-side starts in a low-key deep house direction with „Oh Yeah“. A smooth warm bass chimes together with psychedelic rhodes and twirling low-cutted synth progressions. In contrary to this, Janefondas member Precious K takes these elements and transforms them into 2 different versions. The „More Dips Remix“ is a garage influenced party grenade, while the digital exclusive „Rawmix“ turns this tune into an exuberant, dirty warehouse experiment.
