Tom Flynn marks his first appearance on Exit Strategy, starting off with a strong package of four tracks. Each of them tends towards a slightly different side of his ecstatic and clean production style - making this a very coherent well balanced collection of killers.

Jos & Eli might seem unknown to many electronic music lovers but they have been releasing great music since 2013. They have been sending me music for a long time and I think we have spend about a year developing this first release on Noir Music, making sure it represented their debut on the label perfectly. When you hear the Adrenaline Hunt release you will notice that the 2 guys from Tel-Aviv have developed into a great production team over the years and these 3 tracks included here are not only cleverly crafted for the deeper dancefloors but can also be enjoyed on home stereo's. Opener 'Obscured Mind' features immense vocal-work by Jinadu and the song is wrapped in delicious and constantly intensified deephouse flavours whereas 'Initiation' has a more tribal, dubby and africanism edge to it. On the title track 'Adrenaline Hunt' which we build the EP aound things get a little more tech, darker and closer to what you would typically expect from Noir Music. Not only am I always excited to have new artists and talents on the label but I feel Jos & Eli bring a new dimension to Noir Music as well.

The first taste from Joseph Capriati's 'Self Portrait' has landed, as Drumcode drop a double shot from techno's heir apparent hugely anticipated second album. The tracks 'Fratello' and 'Awake', have been highlights of Capriati's sets in recent months, punctuating performances at landmark gigs such as his main room closing set at the internationally respected Time Warp Festival in Germany and maiden coast-to-coast tour of the US.

'Awake' was born out of Joseph's longstanding love affair with Holland's famous Awakenings parties and is a homage to the fanatical fans who turn out en masse at each event. Tense, atmospheric and relentless, 'Awake' captures the feeling of a momentary release of energy that is such a part of the high-octane Awakenings experience.

'Fratello' has achieved anthem status since it debuted in Capriati's sets last September, such is the reaction it has garnered from fans. interpretation give s whole new energy to the track. Max’s remix reframes it even further for maximum peak-time impact. Carrier’s debut album features eight elegantly rude arrangements that dance in negative space between Photek’s frictional syncopations, Rhythm & Sound’s dubwise minimalism, and Torsten Pröfrock’s fractured dynamics, bolstered on two tracks by contributions from Voice Actor and Memotone, summoning a noirish, jazzier frisson to his signature metrics and temporalities.

Since hard-snagging our ears and feet in 2023 with 12”s for FELT and his own eponymous label, Guy Brewer’s Carrier has become the go-to project for anyone who had almost given up on chasing these sorts of ultra-subtle but vitally distinctive new permutations in dance music. For the past two years, his unpredictable variations within a style have kept us all tip-toed and seat-edged with organisations of a finely chiselled percussive palette and smouldering ambient noise that distils the salient aspects and spirits of D&B, dub techno, electro-acoustic music, and trip hop with unique traction. In effect, he’s enacted a clear leap of imagination from previous work issued as part of Commix and solo as Shifted that only continues to reveal hallucinatory psychoacoustics on this first album detail.

»Rhythm Immortal« sees Brewer tilt the project into slower, resoundingly more atmospheric realms, better to luxuriate in the instinctive guile and integer-stepping style ’n’ pattern of his incredible sound. At the album’s poles, a vocal cameo by cult gynoid Voice Actor follows from Gavsborg’s on a preceding 7” single to ideally model his sound’s mutability and compatibility with trip hop forms, and Memotone helps seal the deal with a hovering glow lent to »Offshore«, whilst Carrier jostles the reins throughout with masterful control of his thing, crisply purposed to the album canvas. In that context, it’s perfectly adaptable to bodies both supine or in motion, ushering a hypnagogic sway with »A Point Most Crucial«, and hingeing around the slightest interplay of 16th-note hi-hat ruffles and recoiling reverbs on »Outer Shell«, or blissfully stepping on knife-edge 2-step on »Wave After Wave«.

Josiah and the Bonnevilles is the band name for singer-songwriter Josiah Leming, a powerful acoustic performer and prolific singer-songwriter amassing attention from millions across the globe Described as "self-taught," Leming has been traveling across the United States since he was 17 years old, and even had a brief stint on American Idol in 2007. Lemings' Country Covers I & II and Endurance are among his most popular self-released albums. Following the release of these 3 titles, in 2024 he completed his first ever sold out headlining tour. As Is, produced by Konrad Snyder and Josiah Leming features co-writes with Marc Scibilia, Colin Pastore, Jake Finch, Natalie Hemby, Todd Clark and more. Radiohop are a four-piece jazz / hip-hop band from Amsterdam, exploring the boundaries between groove, texture and improvisation. Hard to Handle is their second album and the first drop on Melting Pot Music. As the title suggests, Radiohop are going hard on this one.

Radiohop are Joshua Lutz (keys), Euan Jenkins (drums), Johnny Biner (guitar) and Joel Svedberg (bass). All four of them moved to Amsterdam around 2020 to study jazz and quickly plugged into the city’s bubbling scene.

Each band member plays an equal role in shaping the music as a single organism, emphasising feeling and atmosphere rather than ego or individual spotlight.

The compositions arise from experimentation, intuitive collaboration and deep listening, an approach that has as much to do with their backgrounds as improvisers and beat-makers as it does with their roots in jazz.

Als Saxofonist Joshua Redman 2023 sein Album „where are we“ veröffentlichte, ließ nicht nur er damit
aufhorchen, sondern auch die Sängerin auf allen Tracks: Gabrielle Cavassa. Das weltweite Echo war imposant, in Deutschland hieß es “Top-Sängerin“ (Stereoplay) und “bringen die Luft im Studio zum Flirren“
(Süddeutsche Zeitung). Bei der darauffolgenden Welttournee des Redman Quartet begeisterte die Sängerin
erneut das Publikum auch in Deutschland.
Mit ”Diavola“ gibt Gabrielle Cavassa jetzt ihren Einstand bei Blue Note. Dort kann sie erstmals auf
großer Bühne ihr Können als Sängerin und Songwriterin zeigen, sowie als Interpretin von Jazz-Standards

A tribute to Bob the Landlord from Rotterdam. Bob the Landlord became known in Rotterdam after appearing in a documentary about the harbor cafe Willems Kantine. He was a loud and direct landlord who rented small rooms to people around the area. Bob was famous for his strong Rotterdam attitude and the way he spoke to people without filtering his words. One of the most famous moments was when Cowboy Jos asked him for five euros. Bob angrily replied, "Five euros? On your face!" This line later became a well-known quote in Rotterdam. Spurred by his longtime admiration for chamber pop spanning the High Llamas and Free Design to the Beach Boys, Takahashi deviates from the underlying processes of his past two outings, trading Ableton sequences for lead sheets, focusing on creating robust melodic and harmonic foundations first. This difference is audible straight away; the album opens with a dialog between upright piano and plucked double bass that’s so gentle and transparent you can hear the breath of the players.
