25 Jahre Blutengel! Neue Sounds, aber immer noch der gleiche Typ - Mit dem neuen Album “Un:Sterblich - Our Souls Will Never Die” reflektiert Chris Pohl seine gesamte musikalische Vergangenheit, zeigt aber auch, dass Blutengel sich weiterentwickelt und wandelt. “Un:Sterblich - Our Souls Will Never Die” ist wohl Blutengels bisher persönlichstes Album mit Einblicken in tiefere, dunklere Gefühle der letzten Jahre. Stilistisch hat Chris Pohl einerseits mit Songs wie “King of Blood”, “Can you see me” und “Ohne Wiederkehr” neues gewagt, bleibt dabei aber sich selbst und seinen musikalischen Anfängen mit Liedern wie “Back for Blood”, “Dark History” und “Shine Again” treu. Mit 25 brandneuen Songs und 12 (!!!) Musikvideos zelebrieren Blutengel ihre 25-jährige Erfolgsgeschichte.

Auch auf dem vierten Album von Motor!k konzentriert sich die belgischen Avant-garde Künstler Joeri Dobbeleir (Gitarre/ Synthies), Dirk Ivens (Guitar/FX) und Dries D‘Hollander (Drums) auf das Wesentliche: Hypnotische Bassläufe, rhythmusgebende Drums und repetitive Gitarrenschleifen sind die Essenz, aus der psychedelische Retro-Träume entstehen. Erneut ohne Gesang setzen Motor!k auf ihren schon traditionellen sechs Tracks eine Dynamik frei, die komplett aus dem temporeichen Zusammenspiel der drei Protagonisten erwächst und das Gefühl einer spontanen Jamsession aufkommen lässt. Born in the privacy of their studio on the outskirts of Paris, the album “Walking on the line” is the product of 2 years of composition. While the group's first 2 EPs invited you to daydream away from the daily hustle and bustle, the album 'Walking on the line' presents itself as a celebration of the instability of life. This new disc reflects the magnificently winding path we all travel: from the violent return to reality with the opening track 'Back to Heaven' through the multiple tumults of the stories of passion 'Woman', chaos 'Eye of the Storm', of loneliness 'When She's Gone' to end up finding peace through the contemplation of nature with 'Lemon Trees'.

Thaniil Alexandros can’t imagine a life without producing. Under the name of RBCHMBRS, Thaniil has been tinkering with sample based productions for 17 years. In one form or another, RBCHMBRS has mashed inspirations of hip hop instrumentals with the funky, snappy bounce of UKG.

Being half Greek and half Dominican means that Thaniil’s first memories of music were of classic Greek music and his mother’s love of dance and disco. Growing up on the Bronx meant that he was exposed to a mix of genres his entire life. From boomboxes on the street or from the windows of his neighbors home, gave Alexandros exposure to sounds he hadn't heard.

Toe the Line EP was intended to return to stripped down elements of older releases, but something “a little less outer space, a return to earth.” Armed with an SP-404, RBCHMBRS wants to be playful without being reminiscent, always trying to move forward. He believes that nostalgic pain can propel an artist to make their best work.

While noting history teachers as salient inspirations that opened his eyes to cultures unknown to him, as well as a father who is a history buff of his own, Thaniil has inherited some of their reverence for the classics and the importance of learning from the past. Alexandros’ fundamentals are influenced by Madlib, Timbaland (“the early stuff,” he interjects), Q Tip, Havoc, Alchemist, UKG, as well as the culture that surrounded the NBA in the 90s, during his most formative years.

Keeping it in the family, RBCHMBRS works closely with critically acclaimed emcee/producer THERAVADA, who co-produced Sick by Earl Sweatshirt with him, and who is his cousin. Currently, RBCHMBRS is working on a self-proclaimed “sprawling dance album” with Tesh Curry. His audience has a lot to look forward to.

With his Estrella EP, his intention was expressed through the imagined feeling of a time warp, a portal, and maybe coming out the other end of it. He wanted Toe The Line EP to feel more grounded, a down to earth project that he leaned towards as he searched for his life to settle. This EP reminds him that many things in his life have changed for the better, and a lot of that has to do with the structure hes begun to install.

Johnny Cash (* 26. Februar 1932) ist eine Legende der Musikgeschichte. Sein Tod am 12. September 2003 war ein Schock für viele Fans, obwohl er wenig überraschend kam. Seine hemmungslose Drogensucht und sein exzessiver Lebensstil in den Fünfzigern und Sechzigern, die erst durch die Liaison mit June Carter ein Ende fanden, waren allgemein bekannt. Dabei war Cash in erster Linie der größte und einflussreichste US-amerikanische Country-Sänger, und ein begnadeter Songschreiber dazu. Cashs Markenzeichen war neben seiner markanten Bassbariton-Stimme und seinen kritischen und unkonventionellen Texten der "Boom-Chicka-Boom"-Sound seiner Begleitband Tennessee Three, der an einen rollenden Zug erinnerte. Cashs musikalisches Spektrum reichte von Country, Gospel, Rockabilly, Blues, Folk und Pop bis hin zu dem von Rick Rubin ab Mitte der Neunziger kongenial in Szene gesetzten Alternative Country. Legendär sind seine Konzerte in den Gefängnissen Folsom und San Quentin Ende der Sechziger. Cash schrieb etwa 500 Songs, nahm rund 2500 Titel auf, verkaufte mehr als 50 Millionen Tonträger und wurde mit 13 Grammy Awards ausgezeichnet. Zudem trat Cash in einigen Filmen und Fernsehserien als Schauspieler auf.
