Logout Record Shop Firenze is happy to present its first official release: LGT 001, signed by Novosti Kulturi. Known for his raw blend of electro, raw synth and underground industrial textures, Novosti Kulturi has been active within the darker electronic circuit through the Waveform community — a cult underground platform and party series connecting artists and dancefloors across Europe and beyond. Alongside connected to legendary German coldwave label Kernkrach, Berlin-based cassette label Detriti Records and London’s Meta Moto. Widely associated with contemporary electro, dark disco, techno and EBM-oriented dancefloors, Novosti Kulturi continues to shape a personal sonic language balancing cold machine-driven rhythms with saturated synth pressure, cinematic atmospheres, tape saturation and distorted nocturnal nostalgia. 40 years after Dave curated the 'Garage Sound of Deepest New York' series featuring the cream of the crop of American US Garage, the series ran for 4 instalments. Dave re-ignites the torch to bear once more and champion the sound more locally, the leafy area of Crouch End, London, to be precise. This four tracker is a testament to the knowledge and expertise Dave Lee has with this particular soulful sound & genre. First up is 'Everybody Needs Somebody' with its powerhouse gospel vocal performance from Rance backed up with swathing chords, piano & organ work by Matt Cooper and Dave's swinging heavy drums. 'Every Second Every Minute Every Hour' is next from Dave Under, his new Hillman Avenger alias, who takes things in a more jazz funk direction, with masterful piano & brass work and scorching synth solo as the cherry on top. 'Our Love' is an updated rework of a vintage Republic Records track featuring the dynamic vocals of AJ Lewis. Bouncy house drums backbone the syncopated chord stabs before a gear change around the halfway mark signals a big heads down, hands up moment. Before the famous clock tower of Crouch End strikes 12, we have time for one more cut by the name of 'No Excuses' featuring the legend that is Lifford, who does what he does best, soulful yet mighty vocals. This is a peak time, feel-good slab of the Garage house that would have maybe made it onto one of Dave's original comps back in the day.

Coming correct with a heavily garnished follow-up to his first drop of neo-junglist delicacies, Skins is back with a second volume of Sauce Direct. The name tells you all you need to know about the school of breakbeat science he's coming from, but the learned craft of drum edits is offset by a mischievous thirst for disruption, presenting the matter on this platter as a stand-out serving on the plentiful menu of modern-day jungle.

'Strictly Hardcore' brings together the heavy weather of quintessential dub techno with deft, stepped breaks for a brooding heads down tear-out while 'Lost In The Sauce' revels in vintage synth melancholia as a unique backdrop to Skins' own brand of rabid Amen chops.

'Reaper's Kiss' switches stance with some heavy sub wobble and the teased flicker of Apaches in a patient half-time roll out of serious soundsystem reverence. There's space for some snappier breaks in the second half, but this cut is testament to Sauce Direct being a space for wider ideas beyond textbook jungle.

'Double Dose' keeps the stylistic dexterity on lock with a swerve towards trance-speckled lead lines, deployed with a necessary restraint to play nice on top of the nimble breaks. It's an approach which could be so easily overcooked - in Skins' hands the balance of flavours is on point, capping off another essential round in this must-check series of white label delicacies for heads with real taste.

Next, TOI 700-d channels the golden age of acid house with infectious 303 lines and jacking grooves. Flip to the B-side and dive into Black Star Liners — a dub techno masterclass in the lineage of Maurizio, Basic Channel, and Chain Reaction. Closing the EP, Trojan Asteroids fires into classic Metroplex territory — icy, futuristic, and funk-laced. A perfect nod to Cybotron and Model 500, this is hi-tech soul with a razor’s edge. Next up in our Cuban Classics series, one of the jewels of record label Areito’s extensive and sought-after catalogue. Ricardo Eddy Martinez’s Expreso Ritmico from 1978 is a prized album fusing funk, disco, and orchestrated influences with Afro-Cuban percussion, Latin breaks, and lush vocal harmonies.

Whilst maintaining its distinctive Cuban identity, Expreso Ritmico is one of the more American / Western-influenced Cuban titles of the time drawing inspiration from jazz funk, disco, and library music. The album was directed, written, and orchestrated by keyboardist and drummer Ricardo Eddy Martinez, who was also the mastermind behind the orchestration of the Los Reyes 73 album (that was recently reissued by Mr Bongo). Martinez would later go on to work with international musicians and singers such as Gloria Estefan, José Feliciano, Chick Corea, and many more, whilst also working as a sound engineer in the US.

Produced by Adolfo Pichardo, who worked on much of Areito’s output, Expreso Ritmico is packed with gold. The opening title track carries a loose, breezy Latin-disco-funk vibe that breaks into a brilliant Afro-Cuban workout. ‘Que La Tristeza Se Fue’ was expertly sampled and looped by Jazzanova on their 2008 song ‘Look What You Are Doing To Me, featuring Phonte from the hip hop group Little Brother. Elsewhere, ‘Tambo Iya’ has an Afro-funk, Soul Makossa-esque groove, while tracks such as ‘Te Quedas’, ‘Mi Conga Es La Que Es’ and ‘La 132’ run with a heavy pulsating Latin-funk sound. Head to the sultry psych funk of ‘Este Tumbao’ for a spacey journey that blends and morphs through genres.

In the late 1980s, Klaus Wiese (Popol Vuh) deepened his connection with Tibetan culture. The result is a series of works solely dedicated to the universal purity of the Singing Bowls. Uranus, perhaps the most rigorous of these, is an intense meditation on the trans-personal sphere of the VI chackra. The music becomes like a single harmonic chant, the reflection of a constant flow of divine light, which transforms the psyche and dilates the secret passages of the heart. In the galaxy of pure sound, the accumulated overtones offer the intrepid listener the access to a prismatic, fluoriscence-rich consciousness. The ego thus becomes the sonorous composer of itself, of the vital circle flooded with beneficial acoustic vibrations. In this sense, Uranus, originally published on tape (Aquamarin Verlag/1988), also marks a parallel with the same research by Henry Wolff & Nancy Hennings or Nada Himalaya's Deuter.

The mysterious Pirka Vinyl Cuts series continues, digging deeper into the crates to reframe the classics. This chapter presents four broken-beat interpretations, blending deep textures with familiar samples. Features sophisticated reconstructions of material by Telepopmusik, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers and Limp Bizkit.

Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his 'Translate Rhythms' EP on Mutual Rytm's X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDW's new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12" 'You And Me', which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub.

In its original form, the bright, expressive 'Flow' is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The 'Chord Dub' is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the 'Breakbeat Mix' fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.

Inner Balance kicks off a new series of split EPs under the rubric ‘Dialogues’, featuring two adept
producers from Italy and the UK. On the A, Emanuele Barilli brings summery house grooves on
‘Roots’ and ‘Unknown Na’, drawing on the tried and tested deep house templates of Charles
Webster and catapulting them into today’s dancefloor. Transverse Recordings founder Scott
Andrews takes care of the flip with classy jazzy house in the vein of vintage Larry Heard on
‘Willerminstral’, before the refined, loopy minimal house of ‘Renegade’ closes things out. It’s yet
another well-rounded EP in the superlative Inner Balance catalogue, ready to lift dancers to a higher
plane.

2026 Rerpess

Interweaved yields the first volume of a new series curated by Brawther and one that underlines its credentials as an outlet for fresh new underground talent. Three producers here - Frederik Anthony, Mahar, and ICTV - were finalists in the 2023 "Minimal" Producer Challenge judged by Cassy, Losoul and Daniel Paul. Anthony opens with 'Interiddim', a lithe broken beat here through with warm chords. Mahar's 'Relaxed' is a silky and minimal dub tech cut and Omar Fayyad's 'A Mutual Thing' offers trippy late-night charm. Finally, ICTV's 'Oracle Night' is also deep and dubby but a little more menacing.

Finetune — Impulse LP

Singeley Wax presents the third installment of the Russian Series — Finetune's "Impulse" album by electronic musician and media artist Mikhail Komisarov (Michael Dop), co-founder of Slowdance Records.

__About the Music

Finetune is a project through which Mikhail explores and experiments with a sonic palette encompassing ambient, electronic music with elements of jazz and neoclassical. His medium combines modular synthesis, acoustic instruments, field recordings, and deliberately crafted effect chains. He creates distinctive compositions that guide listeners through various emotional states.

The "Impulse" album brings together ten tracks of experimental electronica: hypnotic synthesizer sequences, polyrhythmic structures, cinematic textures, and subtly shifting modulations blend into sonic landscapes where time becomes relative.

__Art Concept

The album's visual identity is based on the multidisciplinary neuro-performance "Impulse," created at the intersection of art and neurotechnology in collaboration with neurovisualization pioneers NeuroLab, digital art studio STAIN (working with algorithmic abstraction since 2009), and physical theatre project "Dancing in the Dark" — Russia's only company featuring visually impaired artists.

During the performance, the brain activity of visually impaired dancers was captured in real-time via neurointerface and transformed into generative graphics. This visual content, born from electrical impulses of consciousness in moments of musical perception, became the foundation for the album's artwork — both static and motion graphics.

Dylan Thomas of Patchouli Brothers fame is back with a pair of disco belters for the fifth edition of Dancing In Space's edits series. The opener, 'Sinner Man', is a real floorfiller with strings that reach for the heavens and trill with self-satisfied joy, while belting vocals bring a raw edge and funky bass gets lips curled. On the flip is 'Street Player,' which has a more lithe and jazzy vibe. This one is driven by live drums and big horns with a hooky vocal and majestic solos all sounding brilliantly lush. Two absolute weapons.

Super Spicy Records, a colourful nu-disco and re-edit imprint founded by Mexican producer Monsieur Von Pratt, continues to offer up action-packed, compilation style EPs via the must-check Super Spicy Recipe series. Volume ten, the second of 2026, is another expansive affair featuring six scintillating jams. Expect horns-and-strings sporting nu-disco joy (Scorpio 69 and DJ Sobrino's infectious 'Fuego', Afro-Latin-fired disco-house fun (Tamati's joyous 'Yaounde Love Affair'), sample-rich jazz-house/deep house fusion (Monsieur Von Pratt's own 'What Is Jazz' and Milton V's energy-packed 'Sounds of Jazz'), housed-up disco re-edit action (Nico Raibak's 'It's So Good') and hands-aloft, tooled-up boogie revivalism (Raga's 'The Middle', a fine re-edit of a lesser-known electrofunk gem).

Never Sleep charity tape series ends up in Thornton Heath, London for the grimiest of bedroom work outs.

Early Fruity Loops philosopher Plasticman aka Plastician teams up with fellow trailblazers DJ Suicide & N Double A crew for a prompt internet radio set of prototype Grime. N Double A crew have so many quotables but its a "pass the mic" affair as limited equipment fort his bedroom bedlam. L Man spits certified gold on demand whilst Narstie echoes his signature cadence, Typah goes in hard with the colder than waiting in a queue outside Plastic People flow and Uzi destroys the stream with typical flair.

Deeppa Records kicks off a new 7" series here that aims to pair emerging artists with established names from the label's artistic circle. The opening release introduces Tolyatti producer Pasadena with 'Vodichka Nice', a laid-back, groove-led gem that recalls 'Stepoing Into Tomorrow' era Donald Byrd with its seductive drums, squelchy slow-bass and soft-focus melodic wonder. It's already becoming a fave on the scene and on the reverse, respected producers Scruscru and Tony Lavrutz reshape the original with a remix that leans into deeper club territory, though keeps the bright melodies and inviting horizontal feel. 4 carries on the celebrated series, showcasing selections from the legendary Sub-Urban catalogue, bringing together a selection of classic garage house cuts from some of the scene’s most respected names.

Featuring standout tracks from Tommy Musto under both his Tribute & Unifunkation guises, Kenny Dope as well as Matthias Heilbronn & Mike Delgado as Lift, the release captures the soulful, groove-led sound that helped define New York and US garage house throughout the 90s.

Including favourites such as Kenny Dope presents James Rouse’s Dance and Unifunkation featuring Alexander East’s Feel Me, this fourth volume brings together a selection of proven club records in one DJ-friendly vinyl package.

RB013 marks Rhythm Buro's 13th release, arriving in the form of a Various Artists compilation titled 'All Things Broken'. Much like its predecessor 'There Will Be Light' - the label's ambient compilation - this project was built around a single unifying idea: bringing together a diverse set of tracks centred on deep breakbeat sounds, for lack of a better term. With that vision in mind, curator Igor Glushko reached out to a dozen like-minded artists - Ukrainian and international, long-time collaborators and fresh faces alike. A year and a half later, 'All Things Broken' is finally here.

Contributing artists (in alphabetical order): Alex Albrecht, Forest On Stasys, Haze, Hidden Element, HVL, Ina Kacz, Na Nich, Orion, Radiant Futur, SI Process, The Sailing Oysterman (aka Shjva and Ilya Semashkevich), Volodymyr Gnatenko.

The compilation comes as a 2xLP and includes an insert poster featuring 'Flame and Water', a drawing by Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Kryzhanovskyi that serves as the centrepiece of the release's artwork. Oleksandr also contributed additional works from the same series, which appear on the labels of both records.

As the first record in Feral's 'Climbing Himalaya'-series reached the summit, we now slowly start to descend along the slopes passed shimmering lakes and enchanted forests. Part II comprises four dense ambient deep techno cuts infused with tribal influences and the inimitable dubby sound of Feral.

Part 1 & 2 has so far received early support from many prominent deep techno producers such as Claudio PRC, Deepbass, Etapp Kyle, Giorgio Gigli, Kwartz, Ness & Svreca to name a few.

Mutual Rytm spawns new sub-label ‘Versus’ with debut EP from longtime techno associates Regent and Chontane. Continuing to expand its creative world, SHDW’s Mutual Rytm imprint now introduces ‘Versus’ - a new sub- label crafted for creative symbiosis between two artists across one shared release. Opening the series with authority, Regent and Chontane man the debut offering - two close friends and native Berliners who have been shaping techno for more than 15 years. Both long-standing members of the Mutual Rytm family, having released multiple times here before, the pair have always created music informed by life immersed in their local scene. Having both mutually influenced one another over the years, here they present their shared interpretation of techno with individual artistic DNA, forming a unified sound that represents the best of both worlds. Regent goes first, leaning towards functional, anthemic, dance-floor-focused techno. ‘Ephemera’ is tight, minimal but forceful; ‘Slow Burn’ has synth tension rising through the dark, next to glitchy percussion; and ‘Afterglow’ lets in more light, bringing otherworldly synths that hang above the groove and consume your focus. Chontane then explores a more musical and unconventional approach. ‘Plaxaric’ is supple, warm, and deep techno that tunnels into an abyss. ‘Grounding Factor’ is just as economical in design, but with introverted funk and evolving layers of sound. ‘Mental Lab’ spins out into complex rhythms inspired equally by IDM, jungle, and techno. It’s a mental workout as well as a physical one. Both artists add a pair of digital bonus tracks. Regent’s ‘Control Room’ and ‘Rarely Enough’ deliver elevated, hypnotic tools, before Chontane’s ‘Escore’ and ‘Outside In’ bring extroverted drum patterns along with contrasting melodic unease

The first record in Crystal Mud's new CRYM series brings four dub techno producers together across five tracks — reaching from the Australian coast to Spokane, and out of the MixCult heartland.

Federsen opens the A-side with "Rouge Dub," a name long associated with vintage tape delays and Silent Season dub, then hands over to Klordop, whose "Silver Cord" comes from one of the most restless catalogues in the MixCult orbit. The B-side belongs mostly to Noosa Sound System, the Queensland producer who takes both his name and his unhurried dub from the coast; he opens with "Trope" and closes with the title track. Between them sits Gianni Cerri of Spokane, Washington, whose "Nine Mile Fall" shares its name with the falls just outside his hometown – a small, local marker pressed onto an international record.

The Spanish based artist is a long friend of the label who has already appeared on Exarde, therefore is a great honour to welcome him back with such profound and complete body of work. Per usual completed with the art of graffiti artist Gkoner the album is really shining through with the radioactive particles it consists of. Whether it’s brutal electro numbers or more spiritually infused dense techno the album may find a home with its listener. The elements appearing to be colliding at an intensive speed to form the fuel for the nuclear audio warfare.
