Dolomea’s debut EP emerges from sketches developed through live sessions and studio takes. Rafael makes a statement on his Crosstown Rebels debut with his latest two-track release, ‘Gotta Be Cool’. Out on 26th June 2026, the rising talent lands on Damian Lazarus’ imprint with one of the year’s most sought-after IDs, backed by a collaborative B-side alongside close friend N.O.Y. Long before its release, Rafael’s ‘Gotta Be Cool’ had already taken on a life of its own. Passed between dancefloors and the subject of track ID requests for months, the record became a recurring standout moment in Damian Lazarus’ sets, the kind of track that cuts through instantly without needing explanation. Now officially arriving via Crosstown Rebels, the in-demand DJ/producer’s highly anticipated label debut captures the instinctive approach that has quickly put him on the radar through releases on Beltools, Hot Creations, SZR, Planet X and Maccabi House.

Built around slow-blooming synth flourishes and vocal chants that evoke playful, almost childlike memories, it balances emotional weight with direct club energy - a combination that has made it one of the standout records in the label boss’s sets throughout the year.

On the flip, ‘Teder’ sees Rafael team up with close friend and studio collaborator N.O.Y. for a deeper, more understated cut shaped by layered percussion, fluid grooves, and loose, after-hours energy. ‘Teder,’ made together with my close friend and studio partner N.O.Y, represents a more underground side of the EP,” Rafael adds. “The track is named after the studio complex we work from, and it was actually the first record we created there together. I feel like both tracks showcase two different sides of me as a producer and DJ, with one more direct and euphoric, the other deeper and more underground.”

Simple Symmetry’s recent gig in Cape Town yielded studio magic as they connected with singer Asandisa Siswana of the Thanda Choir on ‘Inkwenkwezi,’ which literally means star in Xhosa. Representing guidance, hope, and good fortune, her immensely powerful vocal performance made for a super potent mix with SS’s big room styling, and great remix material for Lipelis who brings it all back to crowd-pleasing bubble-gum house, while Peaking Lights shine some acid on the proceedings and Multi Culti A&R Thomas Von Party gives his new Teenage Engineering drum synth a workout on the Riddim Mix.

durch Gäste, auf dem Höhepunkt seiner Schaffenskraft und dokumentieren die sich rasch entwickelnde
modale Sprache des Ensembles. Obwohl sich das Jazzmagazin DownBeat Coltranes Experimenten damals
nicht immer aufgeschlossen zeigte, erhielt das Album 1963 die Höchstwertung von fünf Sternen. In seiner
Rezension schrieb der Kritiker Harvey Pekar: “Nicht alle Stücke auf diesem Album sind hervorragend (was
eine Fünf-Sterne-Bewertung ja eigentlich bedeutet), aber einige sind mehr als hervorragend.”

Wir präsentieren Rattlesnake Boy", das Debütalbum des in Neuseeland lebenden Künstlers Mainard Larkin. Das Alt.Country-Konzeptalbum "Rattlesnake Boy" entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzenten Shannon Fowler (Tom Lark) und handelt lose von einem Pro-Wrestler am Ende seiner Karriere. Das Album wurde jedoch auch von einer zerbrochenen Beziehung inspiriert, sodass die Songs einen tiefen emotionalen Kern haben. Mainard ist seit seiner Kindheit ein Fan des professionellen Wrestlings. Als Teenager besuchte er ein Raw-Event in den USA und meldete sich sogar in einem Fitnessstudio an, um die Grundtechniken zu erlernen. Alex Gordiy is a Ukrainian producer currently based in the Netherlands. He has been producing and experimenting across various genres, with a strong focus on electro and techno in recent years. In his music, deep and energetic grooves merge with lush synth textures, creating tracks that unfold with a clear narrative intention.

This release contains two original techno tracks from Alex Gordiy and two electro reinterpretations from EC13 and ROI.

On Side B, the material is reinterpreted through electro. ROI and EC13 reshape the originals into sharper, machine-driven versions, shifting the rhythmic emphasis while preserving the core motifs. The result is a contrast between techno’s linear momentum and electro’s syncopated precision.

Im Februar 2026 erscheint zum zwanzigjährigen Jubiläum Hard to Love a Man" von Magnolia Electric Co. als erweiterte Edition und zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl. Diese Jubiläumsausgabe der ersten EP der Band enthält drei zusätzliche Tracks: remasterte Demos von 31 Seasons in the Minor Leagues" (zuvor unter dem Titel Tonight I'm So Down" bekannt) und Lonesome Valley", aufgenommen in den Echo Park Studios in Indiana während der Hard to Love a Man"-Sessions, sowie One Thin Dime", aufgenommen während der Black Ram"-Sessions in den Sound of Music Recording Studios in Richmond, Virginia. Terra Magica Rec. returns with its 12th release. Movin Below, it’s more than just a 12", it’s a full-roster compilation, spanning roots, present, and beyond. The formula is simple but powerful: bouncy basslines, warped drums, groovy breaks and chuggy dubbed-out textures with granulated vocal UK Ragga Muffin chops.

A dynamic DJ and producer, the Galway-born, Berlin-based artist is driven by mood not genre, gleefully scribbling outside the lines to craft rhythmic, high-vibration dancefloor cuts that make them a delicious match for the Chunkers. Just reference their pin-sharp releases on Radiant, Punctuality, Planet Euphorique and their own World of Worlds imprint. While anyone who’s caught their throwdowns at Draaimolen’s legendary forest stage, Horst Festival or London’s infamous queer party Club Are already knows what’s up.

Their contribution to the BSC catalogue is bang on. Lead cut ‘Track Like’ is a straight-up Chunker. Beginning life as an instrumental, it’s a pumping house cut marked by a grooving bassline, tight drums and a contained ravey energy, before Eoin DJ added that vocal that took the production into peak-time party territory.

A producer who requires no introduction – Jennifer Loveless join the Chunkers fold with a full-bodied remix of ‘Track Like’. Lock in for a funky maximal re-rub with the attitude turned up to 11. Back in Eoin DJ’s corner, the crisp ‘n’ punchy ‘Pure U’ is driven by fat kick drums, euphoric chords and a chunky rolling bassline. Exquisite stuff. A tight Dub version is included in the pack. The EP rounds out with the perky ‘Feel Deeper’, which channels ‘90s New York house and circuit sounds and is built around a hooky vocal line and rhythmic drums.

Eoin DJ follows BELLA, Eliza Rose, Papa Nugs, Paperkraft and remixes Peach and CARISTA in joining the Big Saldo’s Chunkers family as Sally C delights in growing the label via a carefully curated roster of artists.

Active in London’s electronic underground since the late 80s, Paul Hierophant has long worked in the space between techno, ambient, and dub, preferring atmosphere, tone, and slow-burn tension to obvious dancefloor tricks.

The Elder Gods finds him further out on the fringes of electro, where the synths loom large and the delay and reverb units are given a proper workout. The result is widescreen, ominous, and immersive.

The title track is a monolithic slab of rhythm where corroded synth pressure and ritualistic percussion feel less like a groove than some ancient machine grinding slowly back into life.

Titans stalks forward on a cavernous half-step pulse, all foggy bass weight and fractured metallic vocal echos, like dub techno that has wandered into darker mythological territory and decided to stay there.

The Hydra coils around a lurching low-end spine, its tentacular FX flickering and mutating while the groove stubbornly regenerates.

Works and Days rounds things off with a standout alien vocal loop drifting through pulsing bass and drums, lending the track a meditative feel that works just as well for late-night headphone sessions as it does in the deeper end of a DJ set.

This is an EP for selectors who like their electro expansive, slightly strange, and built for proper sound systems.

For its eighth release, Distant Gaze welcomes Ruksby with Phosphene Cognition, the artist’s debut EP on the label. Known for his hypnotic acid energy and cold, driving groove, Ruksby has developed a distinct sonic signature resonating with both classic rave devotees and listeners of indie-leaning electronic music.

The EP opens with two original cuts. “Imagination” moves in a trancy and hypnotic direction, where slow pulsating TB-303 lines and drifting acid leads unfold through a dark, steady groove. “Illusion” follows with a sharper, more aggressive edge, pushing acid frequencies and overdriven synths into tighter late-night territory. Both tracks stand as focused dancefloor pieces driven by Ruksby’s balance of tension and intensity.

On the B-side, two remixes expand the release. Long-time label friend Mike Sacchetti delivers an acid-driven dancefloor weapon built around a relentless pulsating bassline. Closing the record, Rambal Cochet offers a Goa-inspired chill-out reinterpretation, providing a calm and spacious conclusion.

Walter G & Jay Caruso deliver a warm, groove-led Soulful Disco version of “From East To West”, built for DJ’s who appreciate real disco dynamics. Rolling basslines, bright piano chords and lush strings wrap around an emotive vocal, creating a timeless club-ready moment that bridges classic 70s soul-disco with modern dancefloor aesthetics. Ben Liebrand delivers a classic 12-inch reconstruction rather than a modern nu-disco vibe. It leans into Ben Liebrand’s signature extended format philosophy, letting the groove breathe. His is a rhythm-first reconstruction with crisp percussion, dynamic low-end and long instrumental sections. The vocal sits naturally within the groove, while the arrangement allows DJs space to build, ride and transition with ease.
