Wide plains with an inherent structure that can only be illogical. Unorganic sounds, alien voices, excited synths and sobering organs. Reality is so mundane. The way we are now expecting it from Krink, he does what is unexpected and stretches conventions somewhere around techno and deep house. The music is driven by imagery rather than song structure. Stiff Little Spinners Vol. 9+10 Release info This is the end, my friend. 10 LPs, 24 different artists, 61 tracks, almost 7 hours of music. With Stiff Little Spinners Vol. 9+10 we will release the last two volumes of the housey techno compilation series as a double 12 vinyl on 24/11/2017 via Hold Your Ground, Audiolith's new sublabel. The intention of Stiff Little Spinners was always to keep the party going and most of all to keep it interesting. With every new release, we introduce new artists and almost always new genres - shoo-bi-doo house, rumble tec, abrasive electronica, stress ambient, you name it! Stiff Little Spinners Vol. 9+10 showcases new and known talent from Hamburg to Berlin via Warsaw and Texas. Side A The first side of the four starts with Ben Böhmer and Antoni Sierakowski who get straight on it and pick you up with around 124 bpm and loopy hypnotic perfect deep house. We then slow down a little with Piotr Bejnar who gives us a dreamy slow-jam masterpiece that can only be described as the intonation of a summer longing daydream. The first side is definitely for the MDMA kids amongst you. Side B Side two starts off with Thomas Atzmann, who seems to only produce progressive house operas these days. This nine minute epos will take you on a trip through time and space, it tells a story of tension and precariousness.

The eighth edition of the Stiff Little Spinners compilation is ready for the next demolition party with a mix of modern deep house, slow jams & dreamy techno future classics. 01 Thomas Atzmann - Skagerrak After a longer release break, Thomas Atzmann delivers the first sure shot of this record. Skaggerrak convinces from the beginning with spheric ambience and tom-tom grooves, dissolving in a wash of big synth emotions. 02 Rampue - Der König und der Vogel King Rampue dishes out an A+ Slow Jam. Minimalistic in the beginning, this track leadsyou directly via screwed vocals to a cosmic breakdown of intoxicating emotions. All of it with a beautifully relaxed bpm. 03 Kalipo - Gernkraftwerk The manifold producer is on the ticket as per ususal - this time with a detroit-y neo trance attack. With the appropriate volume this tune can lead to loss of gravity. 04 Krink - Dazed This track is tuning feedback into filters and synth stabs in your face as if there was no tomorrow. Some tunes will always instill hope that's it's possible to dance forever and never go home. 05 Paradise Hippies - Prosecco Mate The last hippies of Hamburg bring proof that two rad dudes together make an extremely rad pair.

Spending a night listening to the same music over and over again most-likely isn't a source of joy. To prevent this particular scenario the group of DJs and producers of the Audiolith cosmos decided to delve into new musical realms. Thus the project 'Stiff Little Spinners' was born, uniting the diversity of Techno and House, to create a sampler which shall display this certain diversity. The sampler's prelude, a soft song named 'Pendelverkehr Ab Ostkreuz", is contributed by Rampue and shines a completely new light on him. Soulful vocals and an almost dreamy sound - just the right thing to continue where one hasn't really left off at night. Rampue is followed by Kalipo, the new solo project by Frittenbude's producer Jakob Häglsperger. With his song 'Time Will Tell' he creates a diversified, propelling piece of music, which never happens to get boring - instead constantly maintaining its thrills. The third track originates from Mendoza, who delivers the sampler's peak experience for those very special moments at a club with his hybrid of Garage and House, 'Hugo". The whole compilation is rounded off by Krinks' 'Better Than That' and Gimmix' 'Fenja' - two atmospheric tracks with beautiful background vocals, which convey the feeling to simply close one's eyes and float away from one's daily hustle. But that's not all there is to it - in the end the Stiff Little Spinners still remain hungry and thirst for more. Thus it is to be expected that Audiolith will present quite some more releases and events under the banner of Stiff Little Spinners.

ls Compilation-Reihe im Jahre 2001 gegründet um ein paar lose Fäden unserer Stammkünstler zu verknüpfen, hat sich SPEICHER inzwischen zu einem Garanten für fortgeschrittene Tanzklänge aus aller Welt weiterentwickelt der es KOMPAKT erlaubt, Musiker aus allen Bereichen des elektronischen Spektrums einzuladen und zu fördern. Für SPEICHER 84 kehrt der dänische Altmeister und globale Fan-Favorit KÖLSCH zu seinen Labelwurzeln zurück (oder zumindest jenen seines bekanntesten Projekts) und liefert heldenhaften Techno, dessen elektronische Grandezza nur von der Lieblichkeit seiner Melodien eingeholt wird.

Das nunmehr fünfte Speicher-Release von Rune Reilly KÖLSCH erreicht uns im Gefolge des gesichtsverdrillenden Wahnsinns von "Loreley" (KOMPAKT EXTRA 68), der pianogetriebenen Melancholie von "Opa" (KOMPAKT EXTRA 70) oder den Bestseller-Akkorden seiner Kollaboration mit Gregor Schwellenbach (KOMPAKT EXTRA 79), irgendwie auch eine Hommage an all diese Meilensteine im Rahmen eines zugegebenermaßen massiven Zwo-Trackers. Das erste Originalmaterial seit einiger Zeit, übernehmen diese Stücke den Staffelstab von gefeierten Remixarbeiten für eine ganze Reihe an Künstlern kontemporärer Unterhaltungsmusik, von hochgehandelten Popstars wie Coldplay zu Bewahrern feinster Tanzflurtradition wie House-Mobster Monkey Safari oder dem Bassmusik-Liebhaber Henry Krinkle.
