From documentary film production to winemaking, Landon Lloyd Miller has left his unique mark in multiple areas, juggling a lifelong passion for music — including a long run as frontman of his Shreveport-based western band, The Wall Chargers — with an ever-present desire to create and collaborate. He's a Renaissance man for the modern age, as adept with an acoustic guitar as he is with a movie camera. "Light Shines Through," Landon's debut solo album, finds him turning a new corner, trading The Wall Chargers larger-than-life stomp for something more insular, introspective, and dynamic. The Wall Chargers shared the stage with Of Montreal, Glen Hansard, Dylan LeBlanc, Shawn James, Abram Shook, Seratones, Kyle Craft, Daniel Romano, The Lonesome Heroes, Big Cedar Fever, and The Octopus Project as well as festivals including SXSW, Valley of the Vapors, Mayfest, Secret Stages, Louisiana Music Prize, Red River Revel and Demon Fest. Following the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut EP in 2021, Antwerp's Lucid Lucia are set to release their debut album 'Ever-changing Light' on the 7th October via the groove-obsessed Belgian tastemaker label, Sdban Ultra.

Searching to unwrap the mystery that is a human life, across nine tracks of jazz and space funk-infused grooves, Lucid Lucia look to the sound of Herbie's 'Head Hunters' and Miles' acid funk of the mid-70s for inspiration.

'Ever-changing Light' is a mind-expanding celebration centered on freedom and rhythm. Free-spirited saxes, futuristic-sounding keys, monstrous bass lines and shifting drum beats unite, resulting in an uplifting and joyous celebration of jazz, funk and groove. From the loose, laidback stylings of 'Mumpsimus' and the jazz-funk odyssey that is 'Pigeons' to the sonic wonders of 'Reminiscence' and urgent flow of 'Quanked', Lucid Lucia is a marvelous journey of luminous sounds and vibrant rhythms. Elsewhere, the warped aesthetics of 'Oneironauts' and improv 'Pukti part 1' showcase a tight rhythm section, inventive horns, funky keys and guitar while the spiritual magnum opus 'Voor Pieter A.' is a magical example of the virtuosity of Lucid Lucia.

Born from the ashes of fusion outfit BRZZVLL, Lucid Lucia were founded by saxophonist Vincent Brijs, a household name in Antwerp and the Belgian jazz scene. Former winners of the Jong Jazztalent Gent, BRZZVLL released their debut album 'Days of Thunder, Days of Grace' in 2008 and would go on to release five more albums including teaming up with Trinidad-born poet, novelist and musician Anthony Joseph on the 2014 critically acclaimed album 'Engines' and with hip-hop MC, writer and producer Amir Sulaiman on the 2016 album 'First Let's Dance'. The 2017 album 'Waiho', the band's first instumental album and final album received glowing praise from numerous tastemakers including UNCUT magazine, The Line of Best Fit, XLR8R and Record Collector magazine.

To the present day and Lucid Lucia marks a brighter, clearer sound for the sextet. Consisting of Vincent Brijs: saxophones and EWI, Bart Borremans: saxophones, Stijn Cools: drums, Dries Laheye: bass, Dries Verhulst: guitar, Jan Willems: keys and James Williams: drums and percussion, they have honed their skills performing with numerous artists from home and around the world including Ursula Rucker, Joseph Bowie (Defunkt), Amir Sulaiman, Anthony Joseph, Zena Edwards, Ayanna Witter Johnson, Baloji, Mo & Grazz, Kain the Poet (The Last Poets), Marie Daulne, Dizzy Madjeku, Ida Nielsen and many others.

Patrice Scott has a reliably smooth, immersive approach to deep Detroit house, and it lends itself beautifully to Abraham’s melancholic vocal on ‘I Feel Stronger Now’.

Light Splitting is a love letter to the purest of sonic signals, to curiosity and to the way we interact with sound.

Based out of Berlin, Germany, electronic music composer and performer Hainbach creates shifting audio landscapes THE WIRE called "One hell of a trip". His music has been released on Opal Tapes, Seil Records, Spring Break Tapes, Limited Interest and Marionette. He has been fascinated with sine tones, noise and FM since he discovered the dial on the radio. Never losing his childhood wonder, he still searches for the sounds in between on modular synths and other devices.

Through his YouTube channel Hainbach brings experimental music techniques to a wider audience. He creates videos on the composition of experimental electronic music, esoteric music equipment and avant-garde music techniques. His live A/V show, performing with tape loops, modular synths and test equipment, accompanied by the visuals of Nani Gutiérrez aka Orca, was presented at venues such as Kantine am Berghain, Uebel & Gefährlich, Acud Macht Neu and Arkaoda Berlin.

With their sophomore full-length "Gotta Light?", dark rock innovators CRONE are cruising in a high octane fuelled hotrod. Channelling their personal musical inspirations that range from ALICE IN CHAINS, via KILLING JOKE, NEW MODEL ARMY, and JOY DIVISION to PINK FLOYD among many others, the Germans leave their very own and personal mark on the genre that has been brought back to the forefront of interest by acts such as GHOST in recent years. While composer, guitarist, and singer Phil Jonas had felt tired, burned out, and empty, working on new songs for CRONE provided the spark that kindled the firestorm of fresh ideas and led to the creation of "Gotta Light?". The album title was inspired by the haunting eighth episode of David Lynch's masterpiece TV series "Twin Peaks". A corresponding element of the mysterious and surreal permeates all of the new songs that revolve around topics such as the hope of receiving signals from the afterlife ('Waiting for Ghosts'), shattered dreams ('Abyss Road'), and a guiding last will ('Gemini'). CRONE was conceived out of a musical collaboration between Phil "sG" Jonas and EMBEDDED drummer and guitarist Markus Renzenbrink. Both musicians wanted to explore musical horizons beyond the metal limits of their regular bands at the time. As a result the "Gehenna" EP was released in 2014 and sparked a first wave of interest. Critics labelled the first effort post-rock, post-punk, and even as shoegaze. The well-received debut full-length 'Godspeed' hit the streets in 2018 and its more focussed and consistent songs got often filed under "post-rock". With CRONE having been elevated to the main band of each protagonist, the band's renewed focus and urgency is clearly audible on "Gotta Light?". With Christian Schmidt a permanent keyboard player has been added to the line-up that now also features lead guitarist Kevin Olasz for added sparkle and sonic depth. Mit Beiträgen von Reeds zukünftigem Bandkollegen John Cale präsentiert "Words & Music, May 1965" die frühesten bekannten Aufnahmen so historischer Songs wie "Heroin", "I'm Waiting for the Man" und "Pale Blue Eyes", die Reed später mit Velvet Underground aufnehmen und unauslöschlich prägen sollte, in ihrer Gesamtheit. Das Album wurde von Laurie Anderson, Don Fleming, Jason Stern, Hal Willner und Matt Sullivan produziert und enthält neu gemasterte Tonaufnahmen vom Originalband durch den GRAMMY-nominierten Toningenieur John Baldwin. Abgerundet wird das Paket durch neue Linernotes des renommierten Journalisten und Autors Greil Marcus sowie ausführliche Archivnotizen von Don Fleming und Jason Stern, die das Lou Reed Archiv betreuen, während die Veröffentlichung von dem mehrfach GRAMMY-prämierten Künstler Masaki Koike gestaltet wurde.

Formed in 1969 as Silent Eruption, their members hailed from Ghana, Curaçao, Guyana and Jamaica. Precious Wilson, who joined Eruption in 1974, added an element to the band’s sound that led to their international success. While on the road in Germany, they were discovered by talent scout and producer Frank Farian, who is also known as the founder of Boney M., Milli Vanilli and La Bouche.

In 1979 Eruption released their second studio album Leave A Light, which contained their characteristic funky euro-disco sound. The first single release was a cover of Caston & Majors’ “Leave A Light (I’ll Keep A Light In My Window)”. The second single was also a cover version, this time the Sixties hit “One Way Ticket” by Neil Sedaka. The single led Eruption to the top ten in the UK and all over Europe.

Leave A Light is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on light green coloured vinyl.

The songs here - penned by Reed in the early summer of ‘65 with the help of John Cale - are a mixture of embryonic versions of future Velvet Underground classics

French pianist, jazz vocalist and songwriter Matthieu Boré grew up surrounded by music and the arts. While his great-grandfather loved to give impromptu renditions of famous opera arias, his father's tastes were more modern and Matthieu's childhood was punctuated by the sounds of Eric Clapton, Bob Marley and the Stray Cats. At age 7, Matthieu began taking piano lessons, focussing predominantly on classical repertoire. In the 1990s he took his first steps into the music profession, singing in various punk and trip hop outfits, before pursuing his love of 1930s and 40s jazz. In early 2000, the young singer-pianist began playing the Parisian jazz club circuit and a year later, released an entire album of Fats Domino covers. In keeping with his fascination of 1950s R&B music, he issued Doo Wop in 2003. Sometimes on My Own (2007) is inspired by his idols Irvin Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael and Gershwin. 2009 saw the release of FriZZante!!, an album featuring a blend of covers and his own originals, with full orchestra. Matthieu Boré has performed at festivals and concert venues in both France and around the world, including the Montreal Festival, the Jarasum Festival (Korea), the New Morning and the Olympia. In 2011, he released a live album recorded at Paris's iconic Duc des Lombards. Roots (2012) was a surprising cocktail - a strong dose of New Orleans funk, from with Matthieu draws his own nonchalant style, combined with a predilection for acoustic sounds and syncopated grooves. In 2015, grammy-nominated Leo Sidran produced Naked Songs which explores the idea of pearing back songs to their defining elements. In Gumbo Kings (2019), Matthieu pays tribute to Allen Toussaint and The Meters through twelve original songs whilst his most recent release Till The Morning Light(2022) combines Jamaican ska and 60's garage rock influences.
