His opener 'Linda' runs on clipped drums, tight bass loops and bright string stabs then 'Oye Un Momento' keeps its original vocal but reinforces the groove with heavier kicks and 'El Ritmo Que Te Atrap' has a kitsch Europe feel. On the flip, Disco 86 shifts towards something classier with 'Crees Que Soy Sexy' riding lush chords and plenty of glistening melodies drawn from the Rod Stewart original and 'Tu Amor' is packed with electric vocals and retro future keys for a full send finish.

It's time to dip into the secret vault once more, and after the first two visits this year, we can't wait. The latest from this mysterious and so far anonymous new label and production crew is another scorching disco two-tracker. The opener on the A-side is full of excitable horns and funky guitar lines with irresistible hand claps and tracky grooves that roll for days. On the flip-side, 'Track 2' brings a vocal line that is brings a sing-along and uplifting vibe as it rides on busy, funky bass motifs with lovely slide in the hi-hats and more lush strings. It's a big-hearted and fulsome disco-house sound for when the whole floor needs locking in to a loved-up vibe.

Phosphor’s fourth release connects two promising talents from Barcelona’s underground scene: French producer Vince Void and Mexican DJ Gamba. Together, they deliver a finely crafted EP that blends punchy club dynamics with dreamy, psychedelic touches. 'Title track 'Maternal' is deep grooving infectious and honeyed house. Hypnotic, pulsating with head-meltingly warm padwork. 'Bona Fide' sees Pugilist team up with UK duo Mystic State. Drums sidestep with jazz swing while graceful piano and an ensemble of pads are topped with an introspective vocal sample dialing for your subconscious. The B1 'Anomaly' is a stepper - FWD charging drums backed with sub low pulses all brought together by trumpet echoes and woozy melodics. Bézier ripples their way back to Dark Entries with Decompose, an LP of doomed spa music. Multi-instrumentalist Robert Yang has made numerous appearances on Dark Entries for more than a decade, with releases spanning the stylistic gamut from hi-NRG disco floor-fillers to lush ambient epics. Decompose, Bézier’s second LP, is perhaps his most introspective work yet. It is an album almost ten years in the making, a deep investigation of life, loss, and the struggle of knowing oneself. If one were to pull a tarot deck for this album it would be the Nine of Swords. The album honors the lives of the fallen victims of Pulse Nightclub. It honors lives lost or suffering through the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The title track takes the form of a Buddhist chant, a brooding synth-driven meditation that scales steadily until breaking into John Carpenter-esque arpeggios halfway through. Tracks like “Egg,” “Marionette,” and “A Fading Citadel Atop Black Sand Bluffs” build on this soundworld, one in which intricate melodies and cavernous reverb induce in the listener feelings of both claustrophobia and free-fall. The album’s dancefloor-leaning moments, like “Codebreaking” and “Split a Path Towards the Thicket” are spartan, tunnel-vision techno tracks speeding towards ego-death. Decompose chronicles Yang’s journey to find peace with himself, as a gay Asian American. During this process, they learned to “repot” long-lost parts of their identity so they could grow forth in wholesome fashion. The sleeve for Decompose was designed by Eloise Shir-Juen Leigh, and features a photograph by Frankie Casillo of Robert laying on a bed of rocks in savasana pose, resembling an ascetic, evocative of the monastic vibes of the record.

Gloria Scott’s ‘What Am I Gonna Do’ is considered by many as one of the greatest soul records of all time. A masterpiece produced by Barry White, that oozes class, lush instrumentation and the remarkable vocal talent and emotive delivery of Ms Scott.

Dylan Thomas of Patchouli Brothers fame is back with a pair of disco belters for the fifth edition of Dancing In Space's edits series. FUSE11 - Rosati - Divina Nostalgia

For Fuse Imprint's eleventh release and the first of 2026, Rosati unveils 'Divina Nostalgia', an ode to vibrancy in dance music through four truly euphoric tracks. The Italian artist focuses on the enduring power of vintage production with a much-needed spotlight on techno's optimistic underbelly, resulting in a sound that is both charismatic and electrifying.

'Division' sets the tone of the EP with playful percussion and bright synth work that unravels as the track progresses. Rosati utilizes the full character of the 909 for the flair that drives the record: rides, claps, and open hi-hats thunder through the arrangement in celebration of each transition. The artist then zeros in on 'Echoes', tightening the energy with an unflinchingly analog bassline and lush pads that round out the harsher edges of the percussion. This serves as a more linear approach for immediate effect; where the track favors minimalism, it provides maximum impact.

Finnish dub-techno craftsman TM Shuffle, head of Vuo Records, resurfaces with a deep and distilled EP that goes straight for the late-night heart of the dancefloor. Rooted in Tampere’s raw, analog dub sound, his productions have long balanced weight and warmth, smoked-out chords, rolling low-end and subtle shuffle that keeps the groove in constant motion.
The lead track “Kellari” dives into basement mode: pressure-cooker drums, slow-burning stabs and a humid, lived-in atmosphere that feels equally at home on a huge system or in headphones at 4 a.m. On the second original cut, TM Shuffle links up once again with long-time collaborator Monoder, the alias of Jussi-Pekka Parikka, known for his dubbed-out explorations on labels like Statik Entertainment and Pakkas-Levyt since the early 2000s. Their joint track stretches time, letting echo, tape hiss and distant melodic fragments float around a rock-solid groove, channelling years of shared studio language into one focused, hypnotic flow.
On the flip, Anton Kubikov (SCSI-9) steps in with a lush reinterpretation of Kellari. A true Russian techno veteran with a catalog that spans Kompakt, Force Tracks, Mayak and beyond, Kubikov melts the original into a widescreen, dream-state trip, soft-focus pads, gentle yet insistent percussion and that unmistakable rolling pulse that made his work so enduring. The remix doesn’t just extend the track; it opens a new dimension, turning the basement pressure into a slow-rising, celestial drift.
Pressed on limited coloured vinyl, this EP is built for selectors who like their dub techno deep, human and timeless, a record that will quietly live in bags for years and keep resurfacing whenever the room calls for true late-night elevation.

DiscoGram rolls out another tasteful EP on their own self-title label and it's all about global disco with a Brazilian touch. 'Amigo' marries lush strings and loose percussion with call and reposes vocals and MPB vocals in Portuguese that lend a natural flair. 'Disco Samba' picks up the energy and is just that - a clap-laced and speedy groove with elegant strings and expressive vocals. 'Do Grito' means more into funk with its low slung grooves but is packed with vocals, chanting, steel drum hits and horns for a fully vivacious sound. 'Queixume' with a little more light and feathery female spirit, sunny vocals and jazzy horns. Tasty stuff.

The guest list is just as inspired: legendary wordsmith Blu delivers razor-sharp verses, while Illa J – brother of the late J Dilla – steps away from his signature rap to surprise with soulful vocals on “My Own Way.” Together, they amplify the album’s humanist core, balancing groove-heavy production with

GAMM is proud to welcome New Zealand born, but these days based in Berlin, Philippa to our camp.
Over the last years, Philippa has been releasing amazing, warm, soulful, and highly distinctive dance music on labels like Slothboogie and Freerange as well as building her DJ roster. For her premier GAMM release,'Cloud Walking EP', Philippa has three amazing tracks that all mix up samples, live musicality, and vocals. If you put Moodymann and Henrik Schwarz in a blender somewhere in the Balearic Islands, you're kinda close. Either way, it's deep, organic, and almost kinda orchestral at some points. If you ask us, we would simply call it dance MUSIC.

Opening the EP is the title track 'Cloud Walking' which is a deep Fender Rhodes affair with vocals inspired by Aretha's Day Dreaming classic. Moving on, on 'Hear Me' Philippa shows off her musical piano skills with a lush and atmospheric deep house jam. On 'Return To The Red Kite' we follow a similar theme but with big warm orchestral strings, spoken words, and live guitars. Again, very Balearic yet very soulful and incredibly pleasant to your ears :)

A1. Cars
Smoove tears this classic apart to reveal its raw, drum-heavy break and solo bass riff. Epic synth lines weave through the extended rework, seamlessly transporting us from the 1980s straight into the modern era.

A2. Midnight Rider
An unexpected choice, but irresistibly funky nonetheless. The signature 12-string guitars are replaced with lush Fender Rhodes and Hammond organ, both pushed forward in the mix. The drums hit hard, backed by crisp percussion that drives the groove home.

B1. You Belong to Me
Opening with an extended Fender Rhodes intro, this rework builds gradually with real strings, subtle guitar licks, and groovy drums. Smoove reshapes the structure, dubbing out Carly’s lead chorus vocals to spotlight the stunning harmonies underneath.

B2. Searching
Luther’s vocals are utterly transcendent here. Smoove slows the pace and strips back the arrangement, leaving only Fender Rhodes and a string orchestra to accompany the soulful performance — a truly breathtaking moment.

Renowned for his rich, soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting, Wellington, New Zealand's Louis Baker blends neo-soul, R&B, and folk into a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. His single "Keep On" is an uplifting anthem of perseverance, now reimagined by a hand-picked selection of acclaimed producers, each bringing their unique touch to the track.

Delfonic: Berlin's Delfonic is a digger's digger - a selector, DJ, and producer with an encyclopedic ear for groove. Fresh from delivering stunning Roy Ayers edits for BBE Music, he brings his soulful touch to "Keep On", crafting a warm, deep, and floor-friendly rework.

Larse: German DJ and producer Larse has released on acclaimed labels such as Defected, Glitterbox, and Noir Music, earning a global reputation for timeless, emotive house. His remix of "Keep On" channels the smooth, sultry elegance of UK soul icon Sade's '80s sound - lush, classy, and built for late-night listening.

Gush Collective: The legendary German 2-step producers Gush Collective are masters of soulful, shuffling rhythms. Their remix of "Keep On" blends classic UK garage swing with uplifting melodies, delivering a dancefloor-ready cut that radiates joy and energy.

DJ Philippa: Originally from New Zealand and now based in Berlin, DJ Philippa has built a strong following for her uplifting, groove-rich house sets and productions. With releases on Freerange Records, SlothBoogie, and Local Talk, she's known for her deep musicality and impeccable feel for the dancefloor. Her remix of "Keep On" injects warm basslines, shimmering keys, and irresistible rhythmic flow.

Darren Nye and James Baker have both had prolific outputs on some of the most authentic, underground house & techno labels. Labels such as Exalt, Form@ Records, Neo Ouija, Revoke, Yore, Spacetime & We’re Going deep. This 12” sampler includes 4 tracks from their album on Fourier Transform which contains ReKaB and Darren’s trademark lush, deep, pad drenched melodies and is UK underground techno to make you move as well as sit and think.

The album they produced is the last James “ReKaB” Baker recorded before his passing in 2025, all proceeds of the album and the 12” sampler will be donated to a fund for his young son.

With the »Catch 22« EP, he delivers three precisely crafted club tracks bursting with energy and soul. Stripped-back, razor-sharp grooves intertwine with raw, preacher-style vocals, lush pads, and fierce basslines — a hypnotic blend designed to move both body and mind.

As a special treat, 2Jack4U turn up the heat with their psychedelic acid remix that pushes the EP into full-blown dancefloor ecstasy.

The futuristic proto junglism of Coral continues. With work that's been in the pipes for quite some time, Coral finally delivers an impressive 5 track EP made up of lush pads and deep bass, accompanied by vicious stabs and heavy breaks. An EP aimed at both dance floor and living room. To compliment this jam-packed release, the Dutch hardcore master Tommy De Roos, also known as FFF, has taken one of the tracks a step further down the rabbit hole with even deeper bass and a massive (!) mantra to make all heads turn. Shout out to Dj Flight, Tim Reaper, Mantra and all for the support.

Disco De Jure made a great debut with its first release and now backs that up with more quality for lovers of classic disco with a contemporary twist. It is the rather mysterious Nico Bellari who steps up to edit this into his own vibe. 'If The Music Makes You Feel Like Dancing' gets underway with lush strong stabs, rolling drums and squelchy synth work that will get those hands in the air. The dub De Jure is a glossy version paired back to the groove, and on the flip, the timeless joys of Gloria Estefan's 'Rhythm Of The Night' get a subtle update with more club-ready kicks. A dub concludes this useful package.

D.D. Mirage return with new single “Echoes”, a lovers meditation featuring North Carolina’s Teddy Bryant, who delivers a velvet vocal performance steeped in yearning and late night reverie. The chorus “the things you do for love echo in my mind all night” hits the melancholy sweet spot, wrapped in the rich and authentically 80s sounding production we’ve come to expect from D.D. Mirage.

The Sydney based duo, now expanded into a full four piece live band, continue to stretch their sound beyond the Balearic and Dub tinted palette of their debut Exotic Illusions released earlier this year. With production assistance from Jono Ma, they capture a lush, cinematic space where street soul sentiment meets modern dream pop psychedelia, the kind of record that slips perfectly between Sade, Tom Tom Club and a lost Compass Point B-side. Flip the record for the Introspective Dub: a drifting, dubbed out companion that strips back the vocal to its echoes and lets the rhythm bloom.

Following live appearances at Dark Mofo and SXSW Sydney in 2025, D.D. Mirage round off the year with a live performance at Victoria’s Strawberry Fields festival mid November.
