Das dreiköpfige Grunge-Rock/Punk-Trio The Pleasure Dome aus Bristol (Großbritannien), bestehend aus Bobby Spender (Gesang und Gitarre), Loz Fancourt (Bass und Backing Vocals) und Alex 'Bert' Elvin (Schlagzeug) gründete sich im Juli 2019. Sie sind bereits ausgiebig durch Europa und Großbritannien getourt und waren Anfang des Jahres Headliner bei Supersonic in Paris, wo das Publikum vor ausverkauftem Haus Schlange stand, um ihre Live-Show zu erleben. EQUINOX wurde im Februar 2023 in Wales in den abgelegenen Mwnci Studios aufgenommen. Produziert wurde EQUINOX von einem Freund der Band, Tom Smith, gemischt von James Trevascus (Beak, Billy Nomates) und gemastert von Jack Endino (Nirvana, Mudhoney).

Ein Stück Bonsai Kitten Geschichte wird neu aufgelegt: Das lang ausverkaufte Debut-Album Done With Hell ist jetzt als streng limitierte und handnummerierte Collectors Vinyl-Reissue in Yellow-Red Splash endlich wieder erhältlich.Mit Songs wie "Don´t Mess With Me", "Virgin Suicide" und dem Titel-Track "Done With Hell" als Duett mit Köfte De Ville von MAD SIN, legte die Berliner Sängerin Tiger Lilly Marleen 2011 mit ihrer Band einen Senkrechtstart hin. Die musikalische Mischung aus Punkrock, ~Billy und Rock´n`Roll nannte die Kombo selbstbewusst Killbilly und sprengte seiner Zeit klassische Genre-Grenzen. Die Geschichte von Bonsai Kitten geht bis heute weiter, da Tiger Lilly Marleen ihre Band immer wieder neu erfand.Das Reissue wurde für die Wiederveröffentlichung aufwendig remastered und enthält zudem zwei exklusive Bonus-Tracks, die in aktueller Bandbesetzung mit Metal-Drummer Marc Reign (ex-Destruction), Bluesgitarrist Wally (u.a. Psychopunch), E-Bassist Spoxx (Feeling B) und Tiger Lilly Marleen neu aufgenommen wurden und so eine Brücke zwischen der früheren und heutigen musikalisch härteren Ausrichtung der Band schlagen.

2012, 12 Jahre nach Gründung wagte sich das Freisinger Quintett RPWL an ihr erstes Konzeptalbum. 'Beyond Man And Time' war eine musikalische Reise durch die Welt außerhalb von Platons Höhle - und der erste Chart-Entry von Deutschlands bester Artrock-Band. Die Band schaffte Themen für die einzelnen Charaktere des Konzept-Albums. Orientalische Percussions, ausgedehnte Moog-Soli oder indische Sitar sorgen wohlplatziert für eine atmosphärische und farbenfrohe Umsetzung. So ist es nur natürlich, dass diese musikalische Reise in einem 16-Minuten-Werk wie 'The Fisherman' gipfelt, um schließlich mit einem äußerst nachdenklichen, ruhigen 'The Noon' zu enden'. Der Song 'Somewhere In Between', auf der CD noch mit 2.04 Min kurz gehalten, ist nun erstmalig in seiner Originallänge von 9.22 Min enthalten. Die Doppel-LP kommt somit auf eine Gesamtspielzeit von über 81 Min.

Eine der dienstältesten, deutschen Oi-Punk Bands feiert ihr Jubiläum mit einem brandneuem Album… eigentlich haben sie es knapp verpasst: 41 Jahre HERBÄRDS, da darf man sich zurecht als "Alte Strassenköter" bezeichnen. 1982 gegründet, veröffentlichen die Stuttgarter mit "Eu se Bois" ihr Debutalbum, was zurecht bis heute als ungehobeltes, rotzfreches Kultalbum gilt. Das Nachfolgewerk "Wakos" bekam vom Label das Branding "German Oi Attacke" und nach einem schwerem Motorradunfall von Sänger "TEK" löste sich die Band auf, um kurz vor der Jahrtausendwende mit dem dritten Album "Wir sind zurück" reanimiert zu werden. 2017 dann ein neues Kapitel mit der Buchpräsentation und Ausstellung "Wie der Punk nach Stuttgart kam" und ein neues Lebenszeichen mit der Mini-LP "Oi! Oi! Oi!". Musikalisch "Back to the roots", begleitet von vielen Konzert- und Festivalauftritten, schrieben die Herbärds dann die neue offizielle Hymne des Eishockey-Teams "Stuttgart Rebels". "Alte Strassenköter" vereint alles, was diese Band ausmacht: Oi!-Punk der alten Schule, Texte direkt aus dem Bauch, der Szene und dem bewegten Leben…von Parole Spaß ohne Zeigefinger ("Rebels" / "Fußball Liebe") …mal fast als Selbsttherapie verpackte Hymnen wie ("Punk ist meine Therapie" / "Krüppel") …bis hin zu eindeutigem Klartext: ("Fass mich nicht an" / "Verraten und verkauft") . Und mit dem Offbeat versetztem Partyhit "Alte Männer tanzen nicht" beweisen sie genau das Gegenteil. Die HERBÄRDS sind sich selbst über die Jahrzehnte und ihren Fans gegenüber treu geblieben, ohne auf Trends oder den großen Markt zu schielen. 2023 is the year of Too $hort at Get On Down with our 4th reissue and album number 7 in the catalog of the Bay Area legend. Shorty The Pimp was released 31 years ago on July, 14, 1992 and has not been in print since we originally reissued it on wax in 2018. Taking the title from the incredibly rare 1973 Blaxploitation film, Too $hort does what he does best on Shorty The Pimp: funk beats, boastful braggadocio, a few conscious rhymes and layers of straight up pimp talk. The lyrical content can certainly be considered comical and entertaining. Shorty The Pimp is also a stand out project for producer Ant Banks who did many of the beats for the project, his first working with Too $hort with many more to follow over the next decade.

Get On Down proudly present the debut solo album from Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah. Released in 1996 on Epic Records, Ironman earned immediate success, debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Produced by RZA, Ironman found inspiration in sources ranging from blaxploitation films to classic soul and charted a whole new direction for hip-hop in the process. The album features classic bangers like “Daytona 500” featuring Raekwon and Cappadonna to soulful emotionally moving cuts like “All That I Got Is You” with Mary J Blige. The album earned gold status a year after its release and platinum by 2004, a true testament to the staying power or this classic piece of Wu-Tang artistry.
