4 tracks bootleg on 12" limited to 200 copies.

Standing some where between the sounds of early 80s disco club land, electro-funk and synth-pop, Cloud’s ‘Visions’ session was a hidden gem amongst the tape archives of producer Alan Osbourne until now. On 12” for the first time, this single features four versions mixed by Sean P. from the original 1983 multi-track recording.

Eddie C descends out of the clouds with a real fun EP to mark the 16th release from Lips & Rhythm Records.

The Canadian producer and edit wizard was last seen at the helm of his seaplane en route to the island of Madeira for surfing and sunshine.
Before he took off he left us some heat we are ready to share with you all.

The title track 'Infinite Wait' is a smooth & rolling mid-tempo flute-laced groove, while EverybodyEverybodyEverybody is a thick and chugging "acid-lite" cut that's going to thump across dance floors.

With the runway cleared for landing the 'wait' is finally over for this party record.

Luv Shack Records is celebrating 10 years with a set of classic tracks from the back catalogue getting remix treatments for todays dancefloors on the Retroscope 01 EP.

The opening track is a remix of Space Echo's "Come Back Home" by none other than Norwegian producer extraordinaire Prins Thomas. His 11 minute revision of the 2014 hit balances countless layers of funky guitar riffs, moogish leads und meticulously layered disco drums, resulting in an ever evolving trippy cosmic masterpiece.

Hot on the Heels of Prins Thomas' remix, ROTCIV takes Rising Seed´s "Train to Kismarton" to Italo town, adopting only the eerie western guitars from the original, whilst building a wonky 80s sound carpet of analogue arpeggios and punchy DMX drums around it.

The Golden Boogie Connection delivers their super lush rework of Space Echo´s "Soul Power" with a tight, organic groove, witty extra instruments such as funk guitars, disco strings and beautifully light footed vocals. What a package!

Next up, Luv Shack newcomer Endrik Schroeder takes on "Wake Up" by Neon Amish & Space Echo. His remix blends the synth goodness of the original with powerful disco-house drums, unleashing a hi-energy vibe thats both uplifting and nostalgic, once encorporating the vocals of Tarek Farwati on the original remix and leaving even more room for the synth pads on the dub remix.

With "Ridin' High" perhaps being one of the most classic Luv Shack tracks, Lee Stevens takes on the task of remixing himself as Rising Seed, opting for a laid back dub house style with bonus pan flutes, ghostly Melotron strings and a ton of spring reverb.

Nathalie Duchene is the new entry on the Toy Tonics rooster. Upcoming DJ and producer talent from Paris with prominent protégées: Yuksek and Boombass of Cassius are the ones who helped her to get introduced to the French scene and to shape the skills as DJ and producer of her own music. Since she came to Paris from Belgium in 2008 at the age of 19 it were these two encouraging her to make music. And by now, after observing the good artists and developing a real obsession (not only) for club music she became a steady member of the new Parisian house scene. She regularly plays in the main Parisian clubs such as the Rex, Silencio and Sacre. And being known for excellent DJ and selector skills able to create deep and colorful musical atmospheres, she also gets often invited to play happenings of brands like Louis Vuitton, Numero Magazine or the off - parties at Cannes Film Festival.

In fact by now Nathalie has strong connections not only in the growing new French house scene but also to the French movie world. Since living in Paris she wrote a few pieces of music for movies (and fashion shows) and it looks like there will be more engagements in the future. Nathalie’s music production skills are impressing.

Now, after DJing for a couple of years, spending endless hours in the studio to learn - Nathalie is ready for her own dancefloor EP. Three sunny electronic tracks, disco, Balearic house vibes that avoid cliches, instead play with atmospheres and vibes that feel familiar and catch you quickly, without being too direct.

It makes total sense to release these on Toy Tonics. Not just because France is one of the countries with the biggest Toy Tonics fanbase, but also because Cassius and Yuksek have always been „heroes“ to the TT crew. It all makes sense. Nathalie Duchene’s first EP „Praia“ is out on march 11th including remixes by Yuksek, Boombass and Carl Chaste.

Big in the charts in 1985, the Italian queen of romantic dance' made her second single Get Closer' a clairvoyant poem about... errr... life and love: when the world is running down - get closer"! Think stonewashed jeans, endless summers on Italian beaches, boats coming back to the shore. Remixed by fellow country men Tiger & Woods, Get Closer' gets sandblasted into our modern times and the necessary treatment to be the peak- and night time hug fest, it's always supposed to be. Add a run out tool by DJ Oyster and a gentle DJ-friendly edit by Gerd Janson of the original to the billboard. And always remember: changing your spell can save you.

Felipe has consistently blown us away over the years with releases on some of the best labels out there including Shall Not Fade, Razor N Tape, Toy Tonics and Norm Talley's Upstairs Asylum Recordings.

'Get Your Body Moving' is a dancefloor call to prayer featuring smooth vocals from Bob The Egoist set to a rocking beat, uplifting strings and a virtuosic flute solo.
Title track 'Timeless' sets the tone with a bumping bassline, gliding synth melodies and a quirky Deep House nature that reminds us of Glenn Underground at his best.

Kicking off the B-side is 'Moving Results'. This is a jack-a-thon percussion workout with a 909 ride cymbal leading the charge, modulating and fluctuating hypnotically while electric piano chords form the backbone with a plucky bass riff.
Finally, 'Take It Away' brings swung Garage House percussion to the table, pairing them with soothing pads and atmospheres, vocal licks and those unreal Jazz-Funk style flute skills from earlier.
It's a release that gives us a real pleasure to be able to share Felipe's unique and musical take on House with the world.

An unearthed and unreleased Leroy Burgess tape from the same sessions as ‘Heartbreaker’ finally sees the light of day with three brand new mixes from the legendary Dave Lee.

Last year when searching though the Salsoul archive Dave Lee came across a Leroy Burgess tape which contained a song called ‘One + One’ that he didn't recognise the title of. On the off chance it could be something interesting Dave got the tape digitised when he heard it quickly realised this wasn’t some out take but a killer tune. He contacted Mr Burgess to ask him if he knew why this song had never been released, Leroy was overjoyed when he heard that ‘One + One’ had been unearthed after 35 years of going missing.

It turned out that it was recorded in the same sessions as Leroy’s classic ‘Heartbreaker’ for an album that never came out but the tape had somehow been lost and he’d given up hope of it ever being located. ‘One + One’ is Leroy on top form in his prime with the full team of New York musicians who featured on many of his classics (Jocelyn Brown, Melissa Morgan, Stan Lucas, Sonny Davenport, James Calloway). Mr Lee has given the song three brand new mixes, a full vocal, Dub and reprise. If you’re Burgess fan this is an essential as it gets.
