Limited edition clear vinyl version of Purple Disco Machine’s anthem ‘Devil In Me’ featuring Joe Killington & Duane Harden, tight sun-kissed house groove, a familiar sounding funk-driven guitar sample and a catchy vocal co-written by Duane Harden (from Armand Van Helden’s 1999 club classic, ‘You Don’t Know Me’) and sung by Joe Killington.

'Devil In Me' boasts all the hallmarks of a future summer anthem, comprising of a; tight sun-kissed house groove, a familiar sounding funk-driven guitar sample and a catchy vocal co-written by Duane Harden (from Armand Van Helden's 1999 club classic, 'You Don't Know Me') and sung by Joe Killington.

The impressive new single 'Devil In Me' follows on from the recent success of Purple Disco Machine's 'Body Funk' released by the Club Sweat imprint, which hit the #1 spot on Beatport (Indie / Nu-Disco chart) and Traxsource (Nu-Disco chart), becoming the most played track on BBC Radio 1 throughout May, championed by Danny Howard & Pete Tong.

In addition to the single, the talented German is also celebrating his recent award nomination for 'Best House Act' by Ibiza's prestigious DJ Awards. Ranking as the #18 artist in Beatport's all-time Top 100 the accolades keep stacking up. With a colossal remix resume including; Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Claptone, Faithless, New Order, Two Door Cinema Club, Shapeshifters and Sigma, it's time for Purple Disco Machine to take centre stage for a full length debut worth waiting for.

Profondo Nero narrates a storyline that goes beyond the borders of Italy’s musical legacy. Cutting across the face of Italo disco’s leftfield musicians between the early and late ‘80s, Profondo Nero champions a multi-faceted sound that nods to the blueprint of Italo disco but tries to dig deeper. The music is unmistakably Italo disco but moves away from the familiar classic sound. Amsterdam based collector Cinema Royale stitches together eleven tracks from 1983 – 1989, celebrating a sound he fittingly describes as ‘leftfield Italo’.

The compilation connects the dots between soulful disco (Louise Freeman – Mirage), synth-pop (Mark – Dreamland), electro-rap (Loukas Thanos – Jazzburger), breaks (Santoro – Lover Message), 80s dub disco (Jet Set – Love Break), Balearic (Isamar & Compañia ‎- No Estas), boogie (Tom Hooker – Talk With Your Body) and proto-house (International Music System - An English ’93).

Profondo Nero’s title salutes the legendary oeuvre of Italian horror director Dario Argento. His Profondo Rosso (1975) is a classic example of exquisite cinematic storytelling, boasting courageous colors, expressionist camera angles and an unforgettable Goblin score forming the ingredients for an intriguing piece of art. Profondo Rosso’s music, created the spark for a new Dekmantel Records endeavor led by Amsterdam based experimental film score connoisseur, record collector and DJ Cinema Royale.

For those in the know of underground Amsterdam music culture, Arne Visser aka Cinema Royale is among the city’s longest standing record collectors. Born to an Italian mother and Dutch father, Arne was brought up on a diet of Italo disco in the 80s. Cinema Royale explains: ‘For Profondo Nero I took a plunge into the lesser known fringes of Italo disco. From there I tried to connect, among others, San Francisco boogie, Balearic, Japanese late era Italo-electro and synth-pop funk. I hope you can hear what I had in mind: an infectious showcase of my take on traditional Italo disco that will hopefully get a lot of listeners itching for a spin. It’s fair to say that lately this particular sound has seen a reappraisal and renewed interest.

As a party-starting collection for entry-level connoisseurs or suave but lazy types, I hope Profondo Nero can be an education. I’m not claiming I’m the first DJ or collector to do so, but I did try do present something special by digging deep.’ It wasn’t my goal to unearth the most obscure tracks, instead I wanted to compose a compilation that takes you on a journey.
‘In my opinion the best DJs create something extraordinary out of illogical selections by combining music against all odds and showing different kind of moods along the way. There’s a certain amount of arrogance involved: you take the music out of its original context. But by doing so in a very conscious way, you might be able to enhance the power of the individual records. Hopefully each song on Profondo Nero provides an intimate and memorable experience.’

The Mellophonia label offshoot Fusion Sequence won us over with its well-presented and great-sounding first EP, and now a quick follow-up does the same. This one is another various artists affair that starts with some nice futuristic robot disco from Vanity Project. There is more organic and lush Balearic from Bobby Bricks and Pacific Coliseum follows that spine-tingling Ibiza sunset vibe. On the flip side, there is everything from late-night electronic house to lazy disco via Sorcerer's blissed out 'Just For Love' which would entrance any dance floor. There's as much quality as there is variation on this one, which makes it a useful EP indeed.

After 35 years of radio silence, there is good news from space for all Italo and Spacedisco fans.

Android is back with a new adventure ..SpaceX.. the sequel to the 1986 classics Skydancer and Aliens. The catchy synthesizer loops, the tight fat beats and hypnotic sequencers take you back to the 80s… but are also definitely of this time.

SpaceX is produced and written by Marc Hartman. Incl Synthwave Remix by Nu Disco heroes Dave Leatherman and Bruce Nolan. SpaceX is taken from the forthcoming Android album Spaceman’s Return.

A Classic Pop or Dance track from the past in a new mix with the sound of today. For years Marc Hartman and Herbert Gruber (the personal manager of Supermax frontman Kurt Hauenstein) have been working on the perfect mix to release…. In 2021 they picked up the project and the finishing touch was the involvement of the German label Lemongrassmusic and a remix from Lemongrass is now included as well. Ready to meet that classic smash hit “Lovemachine” in 3 brand new remixes by Marc Hartman & Lemongrass.

Swedish producer HNNY (real name Johan Cederberg) releases his debut album 'Sunday' on Omena Records, a label set up by Tobias 'Tooli' Lidstrom.

The ten track debut album continues an ongoing partnership between HNNY and Omena Records that started in April 2014 when the 12" 'Always' was released which also marked the starting point of the label.

Sunday is released as a 180 g vinyl edition in gatefold sleeve.

MDFC aka Mobile Disco Funk Connection is a collaboration between Carl Cox and Eric Powell.

As young music lovers, it all began a long time ago with Carl and Eric in the UK playing bloc-party style pop-ups, digging into their parents' influences in music. With its roots in Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Disco and Reggae, Carl and Eric’s Mobile Disco showcases over 30 years of music with Carl and Eric digging to play some of the tracks that have influenced them over the years.

Fast forward 20 years and Carl and Eric have now taken their Mobile Disco concept to: Glastonbury, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Queenstown, New York and Bali.

While we couldn’t really travel (say no more) Carl and Eric decided to revisit some of their favourite jazz funk tracks, remix Funkadelic, GQ and Cooking on Three Burners, Buffalo Brothers and some new recordings, using either the original 24 track tape or having parts replayed. Carl and Eric have named this concept MDFC (Mobile Disco Funk Connection).

MDFC is only available as a triple vinyl album release.

Over 25 years of digging, and more than 2 years in curation. Nick V’s debut compilation pays homage to forgotten gems of the classic Italian House scene, circa 1991-1993.

In the early 1990s, Italy hosted one of the most flourishing scenes in the burgeoning world of House music. Whilst the majority of Europe was only just beginning to digest the arrival of this new musical
genre born in the US, Italian clubs, DJs and labels were hot on the heels of their counterparts in the already established scenes of New York and London. The clubs of the Adriatic coast – also known
as the Italian Riviera –were full every weekend. The soundtrack was provided by the major US and UK acts from the day but also local resident DJs that had been honing their trade since the early
80s. By the early 90s, Italian House music was regularly exported around the world with labels such as UMM, Zippy, D-Vision, MBG, Flying, Palmares, DFC and Irma releasing tracks inspired by the
original New York House and Garage sound, but with a very different, unique and emotional take.

Distinct from both Italo-Disco and Italo-House, this was the specific aesthetic that was to become the House sound of the Riviera, the soundtrack of the golden era of Italian House music.

Nick V’s compilation on Mona Musique brings together 8 iconic tracks from this specific period, covering the whole spectrum of the riviera sound. From the powerful vocal tracks by Korda and Be
Noir to the dubbier cuts by Syncopate and Underground Ghosts, without forgetting of course the characteristic Riviera deepness with tracks from Subway Ground Master, Centric House, Groove
Sense and Optik. Artists featured include legendary DJs and producers from the day Ricky Montanari, Alex Neri, Enrico Mantini, MBG and Ivan Iacobucci.

The compilation comes in a double gatefold sleeve with liner notes by Nick V illustrated by flyers and photos from the original Riviera days. This is a DJ friendly 45 RPM vinyl only release, all tracks
have been remastered with the sound staying true to the dynamics of early 90s production.

German shining star of Nu Italo and Synthwave Mirko Hirsch is back with his brand new 12” ANGEIL IN WHITE. The original version is heavily inspired by Axel Breitung’s dance sound from the mid-1980s, and the remix by Ryan Benson is a nod to early Blue System recordings. Gianni Durante, in turn, guarantees a real high energy feast.

Originally released in 1983, "Take A Chance" is a classic Italo-Disco classic anthem, now officially reissued for the first time on 7" vinyl.

Andrzej Korzynski is, without a doubt, one of the most important, celebrated and influential Polish musicians of the XX century.
He wrote plenty of pop hits, created a very famous and extremely successful Franek Kimono project, collaborated with world renowned movie directors like Andrzej Wajda and Andrzej Zulawski, and played a key part in the legendary studio group Arp Life. Korzynski is also well known for his soundtrack for a cult classic for kids, "Mister Blot's Academy".

All in all, he's perceived as an extremely creative person, a real pioneer who helped introduce synthesizers to the world of domestic film and pop music. A true artist with many faces, a handful of projects, and a musician that cannot be pigeonholed. Without any doubt, he is really something.

So, with all that being said, no wonder that The Very Polish Cut-Outs' attention was drawn by the Master's work.

Without further ado, we have an honoor and pleasure to announce this release.
Four remixed tracks from the very rich artistic output of Andrzej Korzynski. All the tracks were carefully picked by the composer himself, out of a dozen proposals. It is worth adding that such a release was a personal dream of Zambon, the TVPCO's founder, especially given the fact that his very first edit was "Baby bump", a cut by the aforementioned Arp Life group.

"Niezle Numery" EP consists of four top notch edits and remixes brought to you by a well-known pack of producers closely related to the label with the famous rooster logo.
Holiday 80 guys take over the A side having expertly cut original material by Zenek Czubaty (the predecessor of the legendary Franek Kimono studio output), finishing off with two thumping peak-time heaters with infectious vocals.
On the flip you can find a more relaxed and reflexive take with a downtempo twist. Pejzaz adds his trademark sound to "Monika", a piece deeply immersed in slo-mo vibe, while Karol Aleksander's "Welwet" is a nu-disco tinged groover with a personal touch. This EP is strictly dedicated to the lovers of hidden dance floor gems and die-hard collectors of rare stuff.

The outstanding cover was designed by long-time collaborator, Bartosz Szymkiewicz.

Here comes Emotional Rescue and Konduko's last in their series of Noel Williams/King Sporty reissues, this time looking at later electro productions and the hip-hop/boogie influenced 'Sun Country'. Vocals and co-production come from Williams' long-time partner Betty Wright and as well as a vocal and instrumental mix there's a longform remix by Bay Area disco dub stalwarts, 40 Thieves.

By this point in his career, the godfather of Miami Bass had travelled a long way from his Jamaican roots in reggae and soul, paying homage to the warm climbs of the Sunshine State and laying down a much copied template using the TR-808 drum machine create the electronic emulations of the breakbeat, claps accenting the backbeat and trademark low frequencies shaking the floorboards. The instrumental stretches the arrangement, emphasising the interplay between electronics, bass, vocal samples, scratching and fx, the voice transformed into a percussive element in its own right. The flip sees 40 Thieves flexing their understated understanding of electro funk, making for a rounded, generation-jumping package.

Passend benannt nach einem von Bowie's Liebelings-Bars in Berlin, kommt 'Cafe' Exil' mit Tracks von Amon Düül II, Faust, Michael Rother, Brian Eno, Soft Machine, Cluster oder auch der Jan Hammer Group! Die Doppel-Vinyl kommt mit dem Edgar Froese-Bonustrack 'Epsilon In Malaysian Pale'! Natürlich mit umfangreichen, sehr informativen Liner Notes zu allen Tracks!
