Available on limited edition triple vinyl (via DJ specialty shops) this is a compilation of nine tracks remixed (between 1979 and 1982) by Larry Levan, the DJ behind New York's famously influential nightclub, The Paradise Garage. Levan is a producer and remixer who, though he died in 1992, continues to be cited as one of the industry's greatest and most revered. Each of the nine individual full-length tracks was DIGITALLY REMASTERED specifically for this project. The sound quality is brilliant! The compilation comes complete with comprehensive liner notes giving the label's history, its relationship with Levan and anecdotes about each of the nine remixes and how each came about.
Originally released in 1999 this release has been fully re created for 2016. Released in conjunction with West End.

Second release from Label head Mouhcine Zouitina commonly Known as Polyswitch. Casablanca’s finest returns for a second release with six songs spanning over the spectrum’s most vivid junctions. « FEVERISH CUTS VOL.2 » flaunts a strong funk connection merging with an uplifting rhythmic activity under a jazzy atmosphere. This continuum endorses the first volume with an ensemble of afro-diasporic and free flowing sonic slices.
After the infamous success of our first vinyl release from label owner Romain FX, played by some of the biggest names in the game: Move D, Skatebard, Oliver Hafenbauer, Gene Farris, Horse Meat Disco, Joris Voorn...
We've decided to have the EP remixed by a collection of maestros from all the spectrum of music.
With Lauer (Running Back/Permanent Vacation) on duty for the title track, Mr. Ho (Klasse Wrecks) from Hong Kong on Ke Ai, Warehouse Preservation Society (Mercury Rising / DJ Harvey) from Los Angeles on Fray and young up and coming Singaporean producer Bongomann (Darker Than Wax) on Air House. Needless to say, this one has a track for everyone, from nostalgic emotional vibes to club bangers, to dubby goodness and Italian influenced dream house beats, take your pick!

New mutant offshoot from the Talking Drums crew...
You know how it goes at the after party, over indulge and you end up hogging the conversation. So, in the interest of better dancefloor discourse allow us to present Drum Chums, a new series of edits by percussion pals from across the globe.
This inaugural edition comes from our good buddy Basso, a Hamburg homie whose digging expertise is rivalled only by his scalpel skills and superb silliness.
Dipping into the darkest corners of his ever-Growing Bins, Basso shines up a quartet of rediscovered delights for an edit EP which oozes grooves and off balance moves.
On an uptempo A-side, the German luxuriates in the spectral arps, glistening licks and uplifting chords of fusion boogie winner 'Do Stay For Breakfast', before serving the steamy, sultry and seductive vampire disco jam 'Soft Choppers'
Things take a turn for the Balearic on the B-side thanks to the Afro-tropical pop of 'Simple Stroll', all electroid bass, chugging percussion and playful guitar, and finally the cosmic cool of 'Breaking Bread', a spaced out bossa for heads and feet.

"Whatever the part of the brain is that sparks the idea for a remix when you hear a great song, even though it doesn't always work, it was definitely fully functional when we heard A Hero's Death." Soulwax
Fontaines D.C. 'A Hero's Death' (Soulwax Remix) is released on Partisan, January 19th, in collaboration with Soulwax, who are pressing up a limited run of 1000 hand-stamped vinyl, hitting shops shortly after the digital release.

This is the new Toy Tonics EP… and we going straight to the 1980ies.. or is it already the 90ies? Anyway. One of our buddies called it: Loopy dream house meets synth-heavy disco! And this could fit. Its definitely coming out of the very surreal world of Magou.
But who is MAGOU?
Can you keep a secret? Ha! No, you can’t.
The producer behind this record is very well known in the contemporary disco scene, but this project is so fresh it also needed a fresh name like all things on Toy Tonics. It’s all about the music. Get the record and savour the mystery.
And in case u discover the name behind Magou.. because u know his vibe.. let Toy Tonics know.. u might get a prize!

Given that John Devecchis AKA The Owl decided to call his long-promised debut album Concrete Funk, you'd probably expect something heavy, grey and angular. Yet the music contained within - a mixture of loopy, gently beefed-up revisions and straight re-edits of killer funk, soul, disco and boogie jams - is anything but grey and dull. It's every bit as colourful as his previous EPs, with the many highlights including the bumpin' 'Solar Funk', the squelchy brilliance of Steve Monite re-rub 'Only You Baby', the synth-heavy, Italo-style throb-job 'The Truth', and the soaring, string-drenched disco release of 'Knuckles'. With 12 killer cuts strewn across two slabs of wax, it's a value-for-money collection that contains more high-grade edits than you can shake a proverbial stick at.

Proudly presenting the inaugural release on A’s and Bees, a new label of heavyweight 12 inch pressings highlighting double sided delights, with 50% of the profits from each release being donated towards the British Beekeepers Association.
First up, Rare Pleasure’s ‘Superfine Feeling’. Only ever pressed as an almost unattainable acetate that’s rarely traded hands and when it does we’re talking £400 upwards. A 1977, modern-soul-tinged disco number from the New York troupe with soaring vocal harmonies, jamming guitars and big band section galore.
Who better to take on the Bee side than Ashley Beedle himself, offering up a signature NSW rejig - retweaking, dubbing and straight buzzin this cut out across those summer thermals for maximum dancefloor bedlam.
Buzz for life!
I feel unstoppable, I feel unstoppable, I feel unstoppable, singen Superfood auf ihrem zweiten Album.

SoSure Music continue to celebrate the legendary work of ‘Directors Cut’, one of house music’s most memorable partnerships. This time Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper’s euphoric vocal house classic, ‘Get Over U’ feat. B Slade, gets the rework treatment from esteemed US DJ Tedd Patterson and Berlin-based Chambray, alongside an edit from Sami Dee and Frankie’s own Mr Director’s ‘Feels Good’ Dub, which has never been released on vinyl until now.
The package opens with two brand new remixes. First up is Berlin-based Chambray who has previously delivered a range of dancefloor bombs and worked with the likes of Laurent Garnier and DJ Haus while establishing himself as a respected name in underground music. Here he delivers an energetic and contemporary House meets disco rework, bright and uplifting with piano stabs, electronic claps and brilliantly reworked vocals.
Next is esteemed US DJ/producer Tedd Patterson, who throughout his career has earned the title of House Music royalty and is regarded as one of the best-known house DJs in the world. He delivers a remix that retains the classic house feel; verging into disco territory with big strings and jazz influences whilst always maintaining the dancefloor focus.
The B-side focuses on the original mixes that Frankie and Eric produced in 2012 which still sound just as fresh today. Sami Dee serves up a brilliant edit of the Director’s Cut Mix while Frankie’s own Mr Director’s ‘Feels Good’ Dub takes the final slot, a cut which has never been released on vinyl until now.
Two new remixes from very different and unique artists, both paying homage to the original, whilst bringing a fresh new direction. Combine this with the original Director’s Cut remixes on the B side and you’ve got the perfect package - one which would no doubt have received the seal of approval by Frankie himself. Altogether it is feel good house at its best.

Double header reissue heat from the Unidisc back catalogue! One of the most in demand titles from the cult Canadian labels repertoire - Punkin Machine's 'I Need You Tonight' was first heard in the clubs in 1981 and received anthemic status, finding new favour with DJ's in the early 2000's excavating the wide world of Disco (the track featured on DFA's legendary Fabric mix CD in 2007). Copies of this instantly recognisable disco bomb are very tough to come by and are now going for big money in the second hand market with 100's of wants, and for good reason! Best known to most people for his early work as a Portishead collaborator and International tour DJ, Andy Smith earned his 'Legendary' title among crate diggers in 1998 when he released seminal mix album 'The Document'. In the years since, Andy has continued to live up to his reputation as one of the finest and most creative DJs on the planet, tirelessly digging in the crates and emerging with pure gold. Following in the footsteps of his 2006 exploration of Trojan's mighty reggae vaults and his two compilations exploring funk music from New Orleans and Jamaica, Andy turns his attention to disco and boogie for the very first time. The concept for 'Reach Up - Disco Wonderland' was born from 'Reach Up', a DJ collective founded by Andy in 2012 to reflect the spirit of legendary NYC clubs such as Paradise Garage and Studio 54. 'Reach Up' showcases 80s boogie, disco and proto house, the foundations upon which dance music culture was built. As you might expect, Andy Smith's selections for the album are not only delightfully obscure but highly memorable. Many titles will spark recognition, having been sampled for more contemporary hip hop and R&B tracks. Disco & Boogie this compilation may be, but it's been put together with a b-boy mentality. As Andy himself puts it At my 'Reach Up' and 'Boombox' nights a fair few of these will have been played, but interestingly some of these tracks might well get played at more 'hip hop orientated' nights i do too because of the disco breaks: tracks like T Connection' & Freedom. Containing a raft of undeniable dance-floor fillers and slept-on anthems, 'Reach Up - Disco Wonderland' also at times displays that indefinable, other-worldy, almost eerie sonic fingerprint that's been present in Andy's productions and DJ sets since day one. Above all, this album is testament to a youthful obsession with home taping. As Andy puts it: "just being able to officially put these tracks out that i used to play on my ghetto blaster in the streets is an amazing thing!"

Absolutely stellar proto-disco jam from 1975 on the minute Shield label, Nassau County's Hokis Pokis may not be the most well known of funk / soul outfits but that doesn't mean they groove any less than any of the big guns!
'Nowhere' is a true underground classic, one for the real disco aficionados. One of those grooves that straddles the thin lines between rock, soul and funk. This is a proper club record and in the right hands will keep a dancefloor locked in and moving.
Speaking of 'right hands' this special 12" reissue sees NYC DJ and edit royalty Danny Krivit tastefully extend the original 3.32 7" A-side version into an extended club jam. Never one to utilise tired filters, loops, sweeps and so called laptop 'production methods' Danny turns in a fine extension that is subtle, effective and most of all - funky. A truly glorious slice of uplifting dance music 'Nowhere' is an essential purchase for those of you who dig the real deep stuff.
This reissue is a legit, licensed and proper release. Made by Above Board distribution in conjunction with Henry Stone music and the skills of the legendary Danny Krivit. 2018.
Kapote is the head of Berlin’s future disco- neo funk- nastyhouse label Toy Tonics.
His album came out in june and caused quite some euphory around the world. You can hear his tracks in the sets of all kind of quality DJs currently. From Moodymann to Artwork, Call Super, Disclosure to Black Madonna and Auntie Flo. And you always recognize his vibe... that mix of live played keyboards and basses combined with rare samples cutted on a MPC. (Before Kapote got into dancemusic he studied jazz piano and plays several instruments). Here now you you get 3 remixes from his album material. Banger all the way.

Three years after their last collaboration “Lost in the Moment”, part of Darius’ debut album Utopia, the French producer and Nigerian born future soul artist Wayne Snow unveil their stellar single “Equilibrium”.
The message of unity has never felt more relevant than the times we are living through right now. This project composed one year ago, serves as a stark reminder that we can all transcend above our differences and connect through the experience of music together, regardless of colour and race.
The undeniable synergy of both artists create a harmony magnified by the richness of their diverse cultures and musical background.
The beat instantly catches us in a warm and arresting atmosphere. The main melody reveals an uptempo rhythm gently interwoven in Wayne Snow’ emotive voice, born in Nigeria, living in Berlin in preparation for his next album. His lyrics infuse a carefree candor, which only suggests love and euphoria, fruit of an universal balance and a collective caring energy.
After multiple collaborations among “Helios” or the “Nightbirds” improvised live project (feat. FKJ and Crayon), the two artists reunite once again on “Equilibrium”. Heady and joyful, only few seconds are enough to form a timeless memory and make this track an instant classic. Darius holds Wayne’s powerful vocals, which travel through the composition as gospel pipe dreams. His Funk and Disco influences, embodied by his heart-warming and dynamic groove reminds us of his iconic project Romance (2014). Driven by a festive and upbeat energy, Darius finally renews himself with a return to his musical roots, whilst Wayne Snow steps up towards an audacious expression and a peek into his forthcoming artist album.
Lovers of pastel and retro aesthetics, we find the artist’s aesthetic language elevated through an impressive video treatment by the esteemed French director Alice Kong set for release on July 23rd. The audio release will precede a week earlier on July 16th, part of his forthcoming project.
2020 saw the Bogota based club launch their eponymous imprint with a far reaching compilation, dropping tracks from a host of artists that perfectly represent the Kaputt sound as they further cement their position as a beacon of the Colombian underground. Now they are back with ten new and exclusive cuts which transcends the club and explores the human impact on the planet, and how nature came back to reclaim their land.
Born in quarantine when nature sounded much louder than usual, VozTerra a local non-profit organization invited people to listen to nature in 'Sounds from your window'. People in Colombia and around the world took the opportunity of the isolation to listen and record ths sounds of nature. The material, together with soundscapes previously recorded in the Van der Hammen Reserve and in the La Conejera Wetland, in Bogotá, were given to DJs from the electronic music scene to create musical pieces which are now part of the 'Reserva/Voz Terra' compilation.
The alliance of Kaputt.wav, VozTerra and the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live, is the compilation of unconventional actions that musicians and people from all over the world took to express their interest in caring for nature with the hope of inspiring people to take action to care for biodiversity and mitigate climate change.
