A certified disco-piano-banger, recalling 80s NYC hedonism and emotion. (The Real) Kent Clark, who so far has only one release on Bordello's Riviera Disco series follows up with an electro-boogie dub workout entitled 'Make It Right'. Our man in Holland: Aux Tha Masterfader, takes us back to the old-school with the LinnDrum breakdance beast, 'Let's Dance To The Beat'... He commands, we obey. Closing up is Dilemma, who recalls the memory of the early days of Belgium's debauched nightlife with searing leads and low-motion grooves in 'Bocca Nights'. All tracks mastered by Alek Stark.

Cuthead have, over the last few years released all kinds of gritty house and hip hop beats but normally through his friends over at Uncanny Valley.We're now overjoyed to offer you his first EP on Local Talk and honestly, it's everything we could've hoped for.
Spread out over four tracks you get a real dirty basement jam (Fuck That Shit), a sample friendly house nugget (Get Down) and a melodic 4/4 tune that sounds like if Cuthead and our old friend HNNY hooked up in the studio together
It got that lil' sweet twist we all love! To round off the EP we also included something extra special for the beat heads, a jazzy instrumental hip hop number (What Can I Say). A pretty good debut on Local Talk if you ask us

Label boss DeVante delivers the third release for Kognitiv Records titled “Experimental”. He has invited Italian powerhouse duo Marvin & Guy to remix.

“Experimental” is a track that follows the storyline of an experiment. Whether it be a social experiment or science experiment, the emotional journey can be very similar. Feelings of uncertainty, tension, suspense, contentment and/or grandeur feature throughout this track. Marvin & Guy are making waves worldwide for their signature sound and it is an absolute pleasure to welcome them to Kognitiv Records. The Home Taping label return with a highly accomplished release by London based producer Duff Disco. Already known for the eclectic nature of his work, Duff Disco moves it around effortlessly on this EP from the raw and underground sounds of 'Feed The Horse' to the more classic Motor City influenced vibes of 'The Heat' and finishes it off in some style with the chunky Beatdown beats of 'You And Nothing Else'.

DJ Pope from Chicago has remixed Love Thang by Iconic Salsoul Records girl group First Choice. Lead singer Rochelle Flemming is still touring internationally and singing the groups classics that have stood the test of time, Love Thang being one of them.

DJ Pope has made a mark in the soulful house scene and brings his skills to this record for release on Salsoul Records. Featuring funky saxophones, the remix offers a contemporary, progressive take on the original that is sure to get dancefloors moving this summer.

Way back then Home Taping dropped a release by an anonymous act called Klic that turned out to be another moniker for a Medlar production. Now the imprint re-launch the original alongside a couple of mighty remixes by the Tuff City Kids - in both Acid and Garage modes - plus an extension and rework of the original vibes by Dicky Trisco that pushes the proper Deep House meets Disco button. All the remixes sit nice and proud alongside the still shining brilliance of the original cut.

On their latest release, The Magic Movement presents a concept EP by Luca Musto, in which he reflects on the story of his provenance.

Dipped in blues and marinated in Jazz, this release is a diverse journey in all the ways: 'Once Upon A Grind' kicks off with a reflection of his father's immigration from Italy to Germany.
The strong groove of this moody gem reveals Luca's roots in Hip Hop, making heads nod without any trouble. Next up is 'Parabel', a hypnotic slow-house jam, with rich textures and alluring vocals which tells of new adventures on the road.

'Let Me Down' opens the B side with dense soundscapes, sprinkled with dreamy synths and strings, while Iorie closes the curtain with a dubby and stripped down remix of the track on B2. "Be Water he said, this state is tremendous."

Returning to a brief but very fruitful period in electronic music production, Shelved Recordings exists to look back to the golden age of the remix, with a clear view of the future it imagined.

Artists who were steered towards maverick producers, with a view to changing the rules, to re-defining the terms of what modern music should and could be.
Pioneering techniques, over-dubs and an exploratory period of pop production, resulted in many lost dub versions and mixes. Mixes, which invariably were left on the shelf, deemed too 'out there' by the bosses of the the hedonistic label managers who commissioned them.

Shelved will present a series of limited double 12" releases comprised of carefully reconstructed and rebuilt lost classics from someone who was there the first time around !
