Cat In A Tree Recordings proudly brings you two tracks from two of the world's finest producers of House Music. Chicago's Joshua Iz has produced some of the jackingest house music since the nineties both solo and through his seminal collaborations with Chez Damier and vocalist Diz. "Get To Know" is the perfect exhibit of everything groovy about house music. On the flip, Jamie Anderson has provided us with this funk-fuelled dance floor filler. Jamie is known not only as one of the UK's most reputable producers and DJs but also for his highly-respected Artform Records. This is a vinyl only release.

Lorentz back in action for Little hill !

Hailing from Ukraine, iO is one hell of a project, the successful beginning was noted by a debut plate of "Cabaret" on an ultrafashionable German label of Diynamic. iO has been the subject of some well-deserved attention lately releasing on Brise, Noir Music and more.

One more time the TOY TONICS crew comes up with a vinyl only release of SECRET DANCEFLOOR WEAPONS by the Toy Tonics DJs. But check them out: French slow house maestro DJ STEEF reworking Munk's classic italohouse track LA MUSICA. Italian dudes from BLACK LOOPS coming up with a Lo-Fi Techno version of a classic New York Punk Funk track that will create euphoria on your dancefloor. Berlin's No.1 Garage House DJ Ben Mono doing a R&B - House song that is more sleaze then Pamela Anderson's underwear and last but not least: Spanish born, Berlin living technofunk man MAIK YELLS going deep into breakbeat funk with the Paradigm Shift. Vinyl only. 300 limited.

Bucharest's electronic scene is surely flourishing these days. New artists, new sounds and ,not least, new labels appear almost every day. It was time for old comrades Piticu and Herodot to start one of their own. Unanim is the name they've unanimously chosen to represent them. First come out the sounds of piticu wich are rather techno and agressive. It's time to dance on both sides of tipic ep and we unanimously like the ideea. Der untergang seems to be a classic techno track, if that track was made by Piticu of course. Raw elements run a long way before downfalling into a brilliant lead.

Micro phonia is the quiet one, but actually it's not quiet at all. Here the bassline is the hook. the track grows and grows, adding layer after layer of twilight on the trippy percussion, only to end in a mystic dark note.

Our fifth release brings on a very special project in the form of Raresh, Vlad Caia and Cristi Cons together as Verico. The Numiris EP consists of a collection of three live studio recordings, with additional editing and arrangement done by Vlad Caia.

Numiris EP is a different sound from what Amphia enthusiasts have become accustomed to, never the less, we hope you will find it appealing to your senses.

The already 4th production of the record label Freakadelle, founded in 2013, represents a very special release this time. The vinyl only release includes 6 exclusive tracks of 6 well-known personalities from 6 different nations. All of the artists have performed as live acts or DJs at Freaksound Klubhaus in the last two and a half years. Hence, the record also embodies a unique
memento of a moving time in Salzburg's club history and subculture. The release unites various styles of House and Techno, but at the same time proves to be a lively mixture of young emerging talents as well as renowned artists. Freaksound Klubhaus is the home of the vinyl/digital record label Freakadelle and is run by volunteers of the cultural association Freaksound
Salzburg. Inspired by a frequent musical interchange among the members, as well as the boisterous parties in the association's own club, the label serves to foster local music producers and to place non-commercial electronic music on the market.

Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson & Cesar Merveille form the Sweatshop Boys and this May they drop their second EP 'Wanna Be More' on Leftroom with remixes from Tom Demac and Ryan Crosson himself.

Sweatshop Boys return to the Leftroom family following their 'Wide World' EP released back in June 2013. Collectively, the three artists stack up an impressive back catalogue with tracks spanning labels such as Wolf + Lamb, Visionquest, Cadenza, Get Physical and Culprit.

The opening track 'Wanna Be More' leads with a dancing bass line alongside sub-led low-end tones and a stripped back rhythm, all of which gets seamlessly laced over broken female intonations and whirring atmospherics to deliver a subtle yet infectious groove.

On remix duty Welsh lad Tom Demac, whose recently been tipped by no less than Thom Yorke of Radiohead, breaks into the raw side of things utilising distorted harmonies that build towards a warm breakdown in earthy percussion and rumbling bass lines.

For the final offering on the EP Ryan Crosson re-imagines his original and twists it into a deep down-tempo house cut, chopping up the female murmurings and working them around shuffling drum patterns and a quaking bass line.

Please note Ryan's remix will be released on vinyl only.
