The first release from Under Bron Recordings highlights a firm and direct feeling, like being seduced and sharing something personal with somebody new, the A-side showcasing a mixture of dialogue and trust. Keeping a steady house groove and pace, 'Sounds In The Grass' inspires the dust from the ceiling at your local warehouse to come down to the ground again, while 'Waiting To Exhale' turns to the conversationalists standing by the bar or on the outskirts of the dance floor. Delroy Edwards (L.I.E.S.) remix on the B-side expands the WRD horizon and brings in a different blueprint, where swirling sounds combines the track into a beautiful palette of youth and decay.

Birdsmakingmachine brings us the second instalment of their recently launched Series with another four tracker of mysterious minimal house cuts that hook the listener with their constantly building beats, evolving grooves and melodies. While 'Wild Carrots' starts off the EP with a hypnotic yet musical journey through effect-laden rhythms, 'Lost Inside' follows as a stripped down groover with eerie melodies haunting the beat playfully. On the flip we find 'Nest Rocking', a juggling piece growing with percussions and ambient pads and lastly 'Recipients', an early inspired gem with an intricately funky bassline and electric organs.

After launching Save The Blessed with 'Don't Touch The K:raal EP'-a two-track release from Francesco "Belfie" Belfiore, complete with remix from Restoration's Xenogears (aka The Analogue Cops)-comes the fledgling vinyl-only house's second instalment, which sees S.T.B. head team up with Rush Hour mainstay San Proper. For a decade San Proper has enjoyed cult status in Holland, particularly in his hometown of Amsterdam where he cut his teeth spinning eclectic sets long before taking to the studio. Production-wise, since joining the Dutch electronic institute with his 'Amsterdam Family' series back in 2007-which saw San Proper collaborate with a medley of known and unknown producers-he has continued to impress with his heady, idiosyncratic take on house and disco, formulating a recognisable live sonic signature that came to a head on his debut full length 'Animal', released last summer. 'Faulkner EP' consolidates Save The Blessed's dedication to analogue craft with an original dubbed-out house work from Francesco Belfiore, rearranged by San Proper on the B-side in token eccentric fashion with vocals and thrumming guitar-redolent bass. For sound aficionados and quirky night owls who enjoy a hefty dose of underground with their wonky, well formed house.

If you haven't heard of Jamie Anderson, chances are you are either too young to go to a club or you have been into heavy metal during the past twenty years. The amount of releases and labels that we could tie this Brit to are simply overwhelming: Cocoon, Rekids, International Deejay Gigolos, Harthouse, Dessous or his own imprint Artform to name just a few big guns. That being said: the man continues to be one of those rare figures in nightlife that stayed grounded while being praised by the likes of Derrick May and many other big players.
So, when we got to know him through a mutual friend from Ghent we were excited that he immediately came to us with a track and some ideas that resulted in this release: 1992. A vinyl only, limited-to-250-copies affair which will not be repressed. Which makes it actually even more of a special release since it's not too often that a name of Jamie's pedigree does these kinds of small-audience releases anymore.
As the title suggests: it's a track founded in the source code of Techno: 303 acid, 909 kicks and many of the oldskool sounds that shaped Techn minutes.
The second mix, aptly called Acid Tweak Mix, is one for the fans of the pure breed Acid House. Stripped down, threatening and hypnotic by repetition.
The remix on the B-side was made by someone we wanted to invite on the label for a long time: Red D, the man behind We Play House Recordings, FCL, a limited vinyl hype called "It's You", a West-Vleteren beer fan but most of all just a mate of ours for many years. Not really a surprise that he came up with a House version that kept things very simple and sounded so analogue it was protesting loudly when we had to encode it to WAV format. What we liked especially about it was that it was al kept so basic, just like the old House tracks sounded that we liked: a bassline, a few samples, a kick and a melody played there and then. Brilliant once you unleash it on a floor.

Aksutique is the moniker of Matthias Springer for his deep ambient techno, dub techno and downbeat productions. Matthias has released several productions over the years, ranging from techno to chill out music under different names. The Notch Fields EP is the first vinyl release for Aksutique and features 3 tracks of aquatic dub influenced deepness that sucks you right into its maelstrom of endless echoes, synth swirls, noises and reverberated chords. 'Echolot' for example is a pure intense submarine cinematographic infinite journey that takes you into the depths and never lets you free again. The record features an additional dark and electronic rework by Valanx aka Arne Weinberg that drenches the original in eerie voices, electronic sounds and deep bass. Not for the faint hearted.

On his first EP for Tenderpark Marquese proves to be a master of using his means. With only a few, but purposefully used elements with interesting modulations Marquese creates two lean House tracks which nonetheless feel very round and harmonious. Beautiful chords, subtle vocals and a powerful beat and bass fundament turn - Mindshake' and - Twool' into two deep House affairs which skilfully combine modernity and classicism.

big with: Arpiar Crew, Vlad Caia, Cristi Cons, Fumiya Tanaka, Vera, Daze Maxim, Jan Krueger, Ricardo Villalobos, Alex Smoke, Pheek, Ditch, Bruno Pronsato.....Pluie/Noir is finally back with a two-track EP from Vlad Caia. Swan Lake shows with finesse his staggering skills to craft cinematographic atmospheres in danceable patterns, bending musical styles and constantly reminding us that club music can be so much more. Both sides share the same classical-inspired background while still being quite different in mood and lightness. Striking at 14 minutes each, the progression on these tracks remain sophisticated and visionary, messing with your head and heart in unexpected ways. 'Swan Lake' is a delicate yet striking piece, with a precise yet unusual drum-programming and intelligent classical-music sampling. The flip-side 'Eternal Sunshine' is a darker toned track, with slight-flashes of acid in it's core bass-line and ever-lifting tense chords that unexpectedly rumble between the intense atmosphere and lift both your body and soul. Artwork was handpainted by designer Max Binski, Pluie/Noir's curator and art director.

"Redpanda is a new vinyl-only label from Moscow run by Roustam (All Inn, Gipsy). Its main focus is in featuring great forward thinking artists that are creating the music of tomorrow and releasing it on wax with the highest standards of quality!
The first release comes from the Romanian wunderkids Phrasis Veteris with The Nocturn Ep and what a treat it is. A lot of has been said about the amazing Romanian scene recently — some say it's full of hype, others think it saved dance music. We're going to refrain from making any judgments and want to just let the music speak for itself, because in the end that's what really matters!
The A-side kicks off with Drumtalk — a funky, syncopated upbeat number. This is a great percussive jam already supported with the like of Onur Ozer, Raresh. It's followed by the title track Nocturn, which gives atmosphere and feeling to the entire release.
The flipside features Sundaymoon a deep and introspective cut for your mind, body and soul, as they say. Soulspeak rounds off the release on a more positive note with bright interludes and a tight groove. This release is perfect for the spring time and gives us hope for a better tomorrow with good music. Full support from Petre Inspirescu, Valentino Kanzyani, Livio & Roby and many others. Enjoy!"

Once again, we're happy to welcome a new artist to the Hivern family. New Jackson hails from Dublin and produces nocturnal disco-adventures from his studio by the sea. 'Sat Around Here Waiting' , his debut for the label, features two of his trademark ghostly jams alongside two remixes by British uprising talent Fort Romeau and our very own Pional.
The title track builds up around muted percs and haunted melodies, creating a spacey atmosphere that somehow resembles Bernard Fevre's Black Devil early productions yet introducing a personal pop twist when the vocodered vocals burst into the mix. On the flip, Fort Romeau delivers the most DJ-friendly version of the pack by reinvigorating the groove with conga rhythms and a bouncy bassline topped with classic piano phrasings. Pional's take delves into the galactic feeling of the original cut by adding an extra shot of floaty melodies and analog drum-machines.
The digital version of the release comes with an additional New Jackson original and a second rework by Pional. 'Below The Bridge' is an obscure piece of slo-mo narcotic machine-funk that blends spectral melodies and soulful vocal samples while Pional's alternate take on the lead cut boosts the euphoria through uplifting synth chords.
The release comes in a limited edition 12' housed in sumptuous sleeve designed by Barcelona's young design studio Co´rdova-Canillas.

Having completed a landmark year in 2011 with the labels 15 Year anniversary celebrations (including a 12-date club tour and 28 track various artist compilation), Drumcode gets back to the future in 2012 with a busy schedule of releases. Followers of Drumcode over recent times will recognize some familiar names within the schedule with projects from Adam Beyer & Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, Kaiserdisco and Ben Sims; whose 'Smoke & Mirrors' album was a 2011 highlight for Drumcode and for many others within the techno scene.
Drumcode's DC Ltd series is home to the seminal label's more underground material. An outlet for the type of unfussy, primal music that has always been the underlying foundation of techno, but separated from the main brand in a way that is meant to highlight the continued importance of the true underground within a techno scene that has become less defined by it's roots and more concerned with commercial success. Releasing infrequently and only available on limited edition vinyl, DC Ltd will feature contributions from Drumcode's roster of artists
alongside new signings and re-issues of never-before-on-vinyl Drumcode tracks.
For the next installment in the DC Ltd series, Drumcode present a three-track EP from the Spanish pairing of Psyk and Alberto Pascual; both increasingly familiar names on the circuit thanks to their work for Plus 8, Figure, AnalyticTrail and Sleaze. Ascent' leads off the EP with what is sure to prove to be a popular combination of upbeat old-school keys and resolute marching beats. Descent' switches things up, treading heavily through a melancholic soundscape of mechanical stabs and harmonic pads. Finally, 'Permanent' dishes up a solid
rhythm track interspersed with distinct rising tones phasing in and out of the mix.

As we are beset by the darkest of seasons, let Sequencias provide a score to fit the mood. Presented in two parts, "Hybrid Furrows" marks the second transmission of the mysterious Healing Force Project from Treviso, Italy.
The first part is a dense, introspective overture. A ceaseless minor key drone lays the path for deep thrumming gong-like pulse and shuddering percussive textures. A song without a coda, a dream without resolution, it simply dissipates like fog—never revealing it's center.
The second part is similarly monolithic in nature, but crafted more for movement than meditation. It is vicious arpeggiated psychedelia, sharp enough to cut into the deepest recesses of your psyche.
Both tracks were recorded live in one take.

124 Recordings are pleased to introduce their first release,Joey Kay's 'Toy Piano' with a remix courtesy of Washerman.Joey Kay from Chicago has been producing since 1989,and has only chosen to appear on a small number of releases, starting with "Eclectiz" (House Jam - 1994).He has also appeared on the highly influential 'My Love Is Underground Label' MLIU09 in 2012,where his track 'Fill Er Up' was championed by label owner Jeremy Underground Paris. He has also recently appeared on the 'Welcome Back To The Underground' label in Paris WBTTU#3 with the track 'Fewer Than None'.'Toy Piano' is the real sound of Chicago House Music, with its bumping, raw groove, made by one of its own,who was there when it all began. On remix duty we have a man who needs no introduction-Switzerland's Gianni Siravo, aka Azuni aka Washerman. To say he has been prolific in terms of House Music would be an understatement, from Azuni's seminal 'Raw Chord' to 'Here You Come/Believe' with releases on Boe Recordings,Morris Audio, and Compost's Drumpoet Community. It was on the latter label that he became widely know,as Washerman and the massive 'Basement Chord'.Here he takes Joey Kay's original mix and takes it deeper and darker, giving it a Wild Pitch old school flavour. This will be a vinyl only release-enjoy!

Tripeo is embarking on his Second Trip. Untitled #3 dives deep into the darkest realms of dub techno. Not the warm-up or afterhour kind of dub, but peaktime hypnotism made for dark, sweaty basements. Untitled #4 sees him exploring off beat territories. It's industrial, blistering groove is layered with washes of arps and strings to create contrast and warmth.
This series is VINYL ONLY, that really means no digital release.
FEEDBACK

Luke Slater - "I'm gonna try these out. Not as immediate as Trip 1 but i still like it. Darko support as always!"
Ben Sims - "Yep, another solid 12'', untitled 3 is the cut i'll be dropping but both are quality. Cheers!"
Mark Broom - "A side is nice & uplifting with the string sequence & makes a nice first track of the set vibes, B side is a cool offbeat melodic number as well. all round uplifting vibes.. looks like this project is gonna be interesting"
Inigo Kennedy - "Been enjoying the second track the most and will probably use it in an upcoming podcast mix. All the best to Darko!"
Gerd - "Yeah you know i like this! Been playing it for a while now and it is a huge follow up to tripeo 1. TRIP03 is the one for me here. Great sounds and production again. Well done!'
Truss - "Sorry for the late reply, just catching up on my emails now after a Xmas break from the studio. #4 is wicked...LOVE IT!! Big support from me on that one! Thanks loads for sending."
Norman Nodge - "Yet more quality from Darko's alter ego. Both sound good but its #03 thats gonna get my plays. Great work!"
Samuli Kemppi - "Really like it! Especially #3. Will play for sure on radio and on gigs. Another solid one from Darko. Thank you for this!"
Brendon Moeller - "For me, this is not as instant as Trip 1. However, #4 is sounding pretty groovy. Definitely the strongest of the two tracks for me."
Par Grindvik - "A new year approaching and a new tripeo to add to the crate
haven't got a chance to try it out yet but i'm feeling them both. i'm the type of guy that like a balance between "play out" tracks and things that is more the listening vain. great job, keep em coming!"
Cari Lekebusch - "Good stuff!!! I will play the --- Tripeo - Untitled #3 - TRIP2 --- ASAP!!! Sounds great!! "
KiNK - "I'm a big fan of everything that Darko does, but the first Tripeo really impressed me. I'm happy to say that the second release is even more interesting! Tunes like these make me think I have to incorporate other people's music in my live sets, I don't dj that often and the good music has to be played out. I love both tracks, #4 is the winner for me:) I will try it out at the new year's eve "
Dimi Angelis - "YES YES YES!! Love both tracks!! Will play them both but the off beat is my favourite i think. 300% support! "

Dario Zenker - "Both of these sound great... really trippin' and lovely sounds. More please!"
Marcel Fengler - "MASSIVE tunes once again from Darko!! Always my fullest of support "
Locked Groove - "Great release again from Darko. At first sight a bit more 'tooley' than the first release in the best sense of the word. I can really use the a side in my sets and combine it with more melodic and bassline heavy tunes. Great great!"
Tommy Four Seven - "Great follow up to Trip 1 and another sure player for me! Nice to the see the broken vibe on the flip too. Full support of course!"
Len Faki - "Untitled #3 is really good.. has a great mood to it! Looking forward to testing this out on a system."
Midland - "Sorry for the delay in replying to this, was bit of a tax induced coma last week. These sound really good man, a *little* on the heavy side for me, but will most likely try out "Raw Rough mix" and "Costumes".

..RANDFORM - minimal art in techno. randform creates a new framework for concept minimalist techno. the project derives its fundamental inspiration from the pioneering and timeless work of studio 1; freiland; profan; audio nl. randform envisions the revival, continuation, and development of the unique aesthetics of minimalism as an art form in and for techno. abstraction, reduction and repetition to extract the pure essence of techno. being a concept label randform highlights with every release a particular interpretation of the common underlying theme of formally rigorous and abstract minimalism. in effect the confirmed artist roster so far already assembles a set of highly distinguished techno and experimental producers, most of whom work out series of records for randform. their identity will be unveiled record by record. the first release randform001 presents a novel project formel 1 by kompakt and auftrieb artist heib with two works of ultra-reduced conceptual techno. as a holistic minimalism project, the artwork is implemented with great care by chosen practitioners of the fine arts. the records as physical objects are thus transformed into works of minimal art in themselves. in partiuclar, the first ten releases are designed by new york based artist sebastian lemm, whose work in exhibited in numerous galleries in manhatten and brooklyn. the colour design is derived from the purity of yves klein blue and will assign a specific colour intensity for each of the first ten releases. in addition drafts of abstract white forms that subtly suggest a possible third spatial dimension complete the record artwork.
